The no more litigation is a red herring.
The elite sports settlement this year was back in August, the accounts are to end June so next year whatever the settlement was will hit the books.
I think we really need to have a look at how we run our academy and youth work. If it's costing more than we're able to regain on selling players on the is it really worth it for us.

And yet there wasn’t then and isn’t now any mechanism for a same ‘club’ to move down three league divisions in one season, hence the new Rangers 2012 came to be! @@sammckinstry Heard that line a million times. Of course, any company, business, club, institution or society can be liquidated, though many variables would ultimately determine the legalities of that process. Yet, considering there was also no mechanism ‘then or now’ anywhere within any Scottish Football league authority or structure to move or place a ‘same club’ three divisions apart in one single season is testimony to the new club concept, the new Rangers also very selectively only purchasing the positive aspects of the old RFC history, again contributes to that idea with veracity.

Rangers fans' refusal to accept that their old team went bust is whats really holding them back. They wont allow the new club to be frugal, to be sensible with money and build their business back. No no,you must spend everything to stop stupid things like 10IAR. You did stop the 10 but here we are with Celtic now hovering around another run of 8, 9 or maybe 10 again. Is that what success is to Rangers now? Also, we kept our Incorporation Number at Companies House. Would that have happened had we gone bust? Club and company are different things? You just keep telling yourself they aren't if that helps ease the pain for you. @@michaeljcallaghan78 Get off the roof, son. You lost the plot when you came away with the foul language. I couldn't be less concerned at Rangers 'going bust'. They didn't of course, as clubs don't 'go bust' Companies do. There is no process of that name in company law, BTW. Millions of companies are liquidated every year when assets fall below liabilities. It's a due legal process enshrined in company law and practice. The shareholders have no liability for the company's debts, by law, once that happens. So don't give us the maudlin nonsense about the face painter not being paid. Legally, no-one owes anyone a penny. That was the whole point of having company law in the first place: to make sure that entrepreneurs could rise again in a new company if the old one went into liquidation. To mitigate risk and encourage entrepreneurs. The company holding Rangers' assets was put into liquidation by Whyte, a conman who was lucky to avoid jail for paying off Murray's debts using the season ticket holders' money which left little money to pay the bills. The Inland Revenue claimed ridiculous sums in an attempt to make an example of Rangers for carrying out a payment practice thousands of companies thought was legal and on which the IR later declared an amnesty, settling for a fraction of sums due.. Their greed ensured they got nothing. Murray offered £20m which they refused. Your reasoning is based ona misconception of the law which suits your preconceived hatred of Rangers: bias confirmation, it's called.

No enitity, let alone a club can continue to lose £1.2m per month, especially when only £5m is brought in as tv revenue, and revenue overall is dependent on ticket revenue.
Rangers must improve its player trading model, sell the players; make a considerable profit each year (for example 15m to 20m) which will erode the losses over time.
Selling 3 players for 20m + one year vs selling 16 for less than 20m won't wash.
From a fan's perspective, if Rangers do not win the league soon and do this for a sustained period, they are doomed.

Your future is wrapped up with a large minority of lunatics who desecrate Remembrance Day, in spite of seven Celtic players having died in WW2, supporters of causes with no relevance to Scottish or British football and who called your chairman John Reid an international war criminal. Celtic FC is ashamed of them. They don't want to be British, but I bet a good few of them take British state benefits or live in Council houses. I have the highest regard for Celtic and its many normal supporters, some my friends, by the way. They are not generally well represented on websites like this, though.

"Now we find ourselves behind our rivals"
Mate that ship sailed 12 yrs ago. Since yous became The Rangers yous have been acting like someone who's won the lottery. Fair play, yous came back but cmon, youve been spaffin the cash for 12 yrs now. Right from the go yous were paying guys £5k/wk in League 2! Now in the Prem its like Rangers look at what Celtic spend and automatically think that they have to spend the same, whether the cash is there or not. As a Celtic fanI am starting to worry for this Rangers. If yous go bust again that will be that for us. No saying we'll go bust but we will take a big hit. Just calm yersels doon and resign yourselves to a couple of shite seasons ahead. Its better that than goin bust again because Rangers Mk III just doesnt sound good at all.

If Rangers fold and ceased to exist then where will Celtic transfer their despicable hatred to? Hearts?😂😂. Isn't the very existence of their fan base is to hate just one team😂. To see Rangers disappear would be catastrophic for Celtic.

It works both ways pal, I see as much hatred coming from rangers fans directed to Celtic. Look I can give the banter also but I tend not to be hateful as there is enough coming from fans of both sides.
But to answer your question, as a Celtic fan I wouldn't like to see rangers go bust, cause both clubs need each other, without the old firm fixture it will make for a boring season, and the board won't need to spend good money to improve the squad which will have an impact on Europe (not that it's been much to celebrate previous years 😂)

@@ononewheellad. The English Leagues or supporters don’t want Rangers and the associated toxicity. Have you looked at the scenarios needed for Rangers or any other Scottish team to join an EFL division. It ain’t going to happen. Like many Celtic supporters I don’t want Rangers being liquidated again. I love the banter, seeing their pain and the taste of Hun tears. Long May it continue. ☘️☘️☘️
