What did you think of this mall in Japan??
It was AMAZING!!! 💜😁👍🏻
I always love the videos, with the both of you together, the best.
Looks like an anime store/theme and has everything we want!
It's not. LaLaport is an Outlet Mall with several stores. There is a grocery store on the first floor along with some other places.
That was a fantastic trip down memory lane. I lived in Ibaraki, Osaka for 2.5 years and went to Expo City about twice a month. I lived about two blocks from JR Ibaraki station and they have a dedicated bus for the mall. I had to watch the video twice because my son saw me watching it and made me start it over. Now we're both homesick for Osaka. lol He just celebrated his 14th birthday and said this was like getting a late birthday gift from Japan (my kids were born and raised in Kansai and have dual citizenship). Their grandfather worked for Nankai so we used to go to Namba Parks a lot, but they both said Expo City is their favorite mall in Japan after we moved to Ibaraki. We're going to try to make it back to Japan for a visit next year (we live in the US now) and both keep reminding me they want to go back to Expo City at least once while we're there. Thank you for the great video. Both of you are awesome!
@missplainjane3905No. US is ahead in some ways, while Japan is ahead in other ways.
@@maciv33
Could you give some examples of both sides ?
@@maciv33
You visited right ?
That game center looks so amazing and fun!!
I thought this video was really trippy, then realized I'd turned the speed down to half while watching a Japanese movie. To catch all the subtitles. Thank you for this upload. 🌸
That mask and the game place look amazing! We have nothing like that here in the US, but if we did, I know my husband would take me and our kids (even though they’re adults now) 😊 Sometimes all you need to feel young is to find a fun activity and that looks like it would be perfect!
Those index and thumb gloves are actually pretty clever
Okay, the kids snack store, Calbee and the games center look sooo cool!! I'd completely get out of my home if there was this mall in my country 😍
The mall in Shiogama is pretty frickin big too! It's two full malls connected by a bridge.
Super fun video!! Wish we had an arcade store like that here. Also, that CRUNCHY bite into the chicken made my mouth water! 😂
Very nice and up to date video regarding shopping mall in Japan. Thank you very much because I am planning to visit Japan with my family .
omg that pizza look a like chip looks so good
Koshigaya Laketown in Saitama is officially the largest shopping mall in Japan. I used to work there.
Sooo fun! I wanna go there!❤. Thank you for taking us along!
You can buy sugar gliders and meerkats in shopping malls in Japan?! That’s messed up, man… that’s so not okay!
The animal stores and cafes are literally some of the worst and saddest places I've seen in Japan.
@@the.felinist
Because
A meerkat, known to be highly social, all alone in a small cage is heartbreaking. People who want exotic animals as pets are utterly selfish and never consider the animals before themselves.
I love this video!!!! Made me so happy.
The faces on the beer for kids packaging is hilarious.
That beer mug guy is up to no good.
That meerkat all alone in that cage was utterly heartbreaking and put a negative spin on the rest of the video. 💔
Happy to see another video come out. Pretty sure a lot of those animals at the pet store are illegal to own in America
In some places here in America, traditional pet stores are illegal. In those places, you can only adopt pets that came from shelters. You can not buy a pet that came from a breeder or puppy/kitten mill. The stance is to adopt and never buy a pet.
18:33 that's why they call her Mrs. Eats because she knows what's up
Jesus. AS much as I love Japanese malls and the unique kinds of shops, I can't stand pet stores that don't deal in rescues, and especially not those dealing in exotic animals. I practically danced when the local pet store closed where I live in Japan, but there are still one or two left!
Rescues as in
Hooray! Good to see you both again.
Calbi+ has the best fresh Hokaido Butter chips.
I think the KFC potatoes in the United States are made from dried potato flakes and that is what gives them their distinctive taste.
Kids' candy stores were known as "penny candy" or 5 and dime stores. Thanks for sharing this. I haven't seen so many retro stores in 1 location in a while. I miss the arcades from my childhood; they're rare here nowadays.
You guys are awesome and also I just ordered a box
Ya can't be showing me so many snacks before I fully wake up 😂
Dynamite Pose is like an American game show that was on Cartoon Network called Hole in the Wall
Mrs eats is so cute 😊
😢 I wish I could go inside that Japanese mall. Lots of fun.
Same. Though I’m not in Japan.
Both the mall and the other arcade you went to were very nice. I would want to get that giant Totoro from that Ghibli store. He is my favorite Ghibli character.
"I am ready to receive your waste!" -- Mr Eats, 2024 OH MY GOSH that Luigi's Mansion game!!!
I love Japanese quail egg snacks
edion was one of my favorite store in japan..bought somuch stuff there
Can you make a video about your experience in New Zealand?
Interesting. There's also Lalaport Mall in Malaysia and Taiwan. I guess it's kinda like Aeon Mall with its overseas expansion.
Happy Easter 🐣 🫶✝️
Happy Easter to you too! Jesus is the reason for the season.
as a tourist, i find lalaport more interesting than Aeon 😁
Honestly, I just clicked on this video to see Mrs Eats adorable new haricut.
Virtual takeshi castle
I watch videos of walking tours in Tokyo while I use my treadmill it is interesting. Tokyo is so safe even at nighttime. You can leave your bicycle on the street and no one will take it. Maybe thats because of all the cameras and undercover police. Or maybe it is because of the society being better. I understand there is crime in Japan but it is not the same. You can walk the streets without fear most of the time. I think that says a lot.
Late viewer. In USA KFC has Famous Bowl with chicken Nuggets, mashed potato & gravy, corn & 3 cheese.
I just realized that I haven’t seen a video from you in a while. Typical, RUclips’s notifications aren’t working properly….again 😢
Thanks for sharing! Good to see you….now I’m going to go catch up on your videos. 😅✌🏻🥰😊
great videos Thanks from Panama city
Mrs eats you always surprise me to my bon❤
Dear Mrs. Eats,
Can you please tell me where the omamori available at shinto shrines are made? Who makes them and where are they manufactured? I'm very curious to know if the shinto priests make them themselves or if they're made elsewhere, either in Japan or another country. If the omamori are not made by shinto priests, does the manufacturer have to follow certain shinto rituals when making them, or do they hire a shinto priest for the manufacturing process?
Big thanks for all the amazing content over the years.
Wow I love the japanese culture it is totally cool ❤
Meerkats do better in a group settings and are not pets. They have to be with other meerkats. Meerkats behave a lot like ants with a central queen if they don’t have the structure they go nuts. It’s why they aren’t suitable pets.
First time experiencing Japan’s treatment of animals?
@@owen8678What do you mean?
@@jacobgonzalez2002 Japan sadly has almost no regard for animal welfare - there is a lot of cruelty happening. Don’t look into it if it’s a sensitive topic for you as it’s quite upsetting.
@@ordinarysummer3878 And what do you base that opinion on?
@@jacobgonzalez2002 Having been to Japan multiple times and reading enough articles about it. It’s not an opinion - it’s facts.
Coolest. Mall. Ever!!
I'm surprised they have such exotic pets at a pet store in Japan. I think the most exotic thing I've seen be sold at a store in America were certain shark species. Currently I live in Poland and I think the most exotic sort of pet that I've seen is a scorpion just going off the top of my head.
Please don't buy meerkats as pets. They are both diggers and social creatures, so keeping a single meerkat that can't dig or be around other meerkats is just cruel. In the U.S. they are considered exotic animals and in most states they are illegal.
Yes and the add to that exotic animals require an exotic animal permit, which is very expensive.
@@clvrswine Please don't tell me not to tell you or yous what to do.
To see Meerkats in New Zealand we have to pay to visit a zoo. They are really cute.
@@DoomGoober
Why
@@missplainjane3905 Their nature is to spend time with other meerkats and to dig long tunnels. Unless you have a lot of meerkats and a lot of soil suitable for digging, they will get upset.
I want to see you play "I love you, Colonel Sanders!" 😂
KFC Buffet was great!
Looks good!
That looks fun
Suddenly I want to go to a authentic Japanese Mall
Come to West Edmonton Mall.
Hi, i wanted to ask if you know if schools for foreigners also exist in more rural areas.
I feel like "tourist hotspots" will not be a good environment to learn about the culture and people, aswell as the language.
Surrounding yourselfs with people that might understand english or your native language kinda gives you an easy way to dodge speaking/learning japanese, while being forced to try it might be the best way to learn it since you somehow have to try to communicate.
I also heard that a lot of schools are pretty much a "foreigner-cashgrab" and you don't really learn much - especially when the classes are filled and not everyone has the chance to do any practice.
Also would it be possible to work "for the commune" with that type of visa?
I'd like to give something back while studying and maybe do supportive work regarding a city/towns infrastruktural things, maybe gardening work or cleaning
Wow!
If Japanese have meerkat as a pet, the Japanese are more messed up than I thought
I love lalaport 🩷
Malls in USA: 💀
Malls in Japan:
Is there a non sub box option for the snacks?
Wow very interesting
I low-key forgot you were in Japan when you were at the buffet, so I go so angry at the tongs being used in the wrong dish. 😅
That's the American equivalent of Japan wearing shoes in the house!
I miss mall culture in the states 😢
Move to Fort Lauderdale Florida since most people spend all their time indoors anyways I am sure it similar for Texas
Yeah the car is the main form of transportation here but nobody likes to drive, so everything is ordered online thus killing malls.
mmm... deep-fried pizza
Wish I had kfc buffet near me :(
Wonder why the US stop investing in their Shopping malls ..
Mr Seats... where are all the chairs 🪑🐔
👍Nice!
Modern arcade alleys are a lot more fun than the ones in the US. I visited the US a few times and I went to a few and they're only arcades but with better graphics..they're not fun and not interactive.
Do you know where this location is?
Chicken nugget fans unite!! 😋 ✊️
👍
Are those fingers gloves for full body entertainment-o?
What's the name of the arcade ??
I want to go there.
meerkats dont make good pets they need to live in a family group
Happy Resurrection Day 2024!!
Nice
What about Don Quixote?
Rinku Town is better imo.
Xoxo
I was in that mall in Japan it’s not the best mall in Japan
What would you say is Japan’s best mall? I have never been to Japan for the record.
@@bighand1530Solamachi Mall in Tokyo is HUGE! There’s an aquarium attached to it and the famous Tokyo Skytree.
@@CalledtoCultivate You have my interest.
I'm liking this mall tour, but I wonder, did you do this impromptu or did you have to get permission to make video?? I know a friend in India that's tried to do an IRL stream at certain places that said they wouldn't allow it 😢😢 I'm happy to see the real Japan though!!
There's no xbox in japan...
Sure there is
Is that man her husband?
Love the new haircut. But with that face you could make even bald look good.Sorry Mr. Eats.❤ from canada

How does retirement work in Japan?
