    2022 and it has not lost it edge or meaning. This has been the most relevant band for me since they came out. Lydon has not changed his attitude, which I really respect. I do not consider many punk bands even close to their status, quality, and impact. The Clash was good. Ramones were a fun rock band. Teenage Head also considered themselves a rock band. Their influence is still felt, but nobody comes close.

    The sex pistols aren't the best band ever or even good imo. But I still love them for their pure attitude and rage. Not many people play like that on stage. It's always fun to watch.

      @@genaroflores939 Steve Jones didn’t suck. Pretty much every producer he worked with said he’s the tightest rhythm guitarist you will find. Trust me, It’s easier to find shredders than guitarist who are extremely tight rhythm players. Matlock didn’t suck either, solid bassist too, but obviously they replaced him with Sid who was useless. Cook was a good solid drummer. Sure none were virtuoso wizards, but it’s a myth that weren’t good player, they were. Sid was crap though. The line up of Jones, Matlock and Cook were a very tight band.

      @@Two_Seat_Pete_FatA55 ya maybe suck was a bit harsh haha especially since I like their music. I just feel if they were together longer they could have improved themselves and never saw their full potential

    • @Two_Seat_Pete_FatA55
      @Two_Seat_Pete_FatA55 2 года назад +1

      @@genaroflores939 yeah that’s probably true, then again they were like 19 years old when they shot to fame pretty rapidly, and it was all over when they were about 21 and they left one classic album and changed popular culture in the UK for the time. Certainly not bad at all for such young guys in a short space of time. They might’ve gone on to do more great things, but then maybe a band like that isn’t meant to keep going though, maybe part of the longevity of their legacy is they were only actively making music for a couple of years.
