I started this channel in January of 2021 to share my knowledge of selling digital downloads on Etsy, or any other platform, as well as my experience with Print on demand. I do my best to bring you the most relevant content about selling print on demand and printables, creating interesting print on demand designs, testing myself print on demand products and their quality, as well as provide you with marketing tutorials, and so much more! I recommend many services and websites in my videos, some may contain affiliate links- which means that you can have a discounted price, or the same price, while I earn a bit of a commission for the referral- to help support this channel and the costs of producing the videos.

haha...I guess there are not many frozen smiles in the neighborhood.... Don't take me the wrong way, I understand living off RUclips perfectly well, and I actually celebrate it, but when it comes to acting and exaggeration to promote services and products...there are certain limits where even the slightest common sense is lost. @@MeyTribe
In fact, I find this almost insulting and delusional, choosing to film herself on the top of a camel among sheikhs, luxury yachts and traveling in first class on a plane, when her audience (who basically feed her), are people looking for the way to generate an income.@@MeyTribe Nothing personal... maybe its my background that put me off of certain attitudes in life. Anyways...
Was trying to decide which platfrom we wanted to use to sell our clothing and you made it so much easier for us to figure it out. We are still learning, but this is one thing out of the way for us THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Mey, Thank you so much for sharing your journey - I watch you regularly - Its lovely to have an artist perspective in the big picture of online selling.
I do have a question for you - I feel like you specifically can answer this because of your knowledge crossing over from creating to online…
Can you please help with colors - specifically the generation of awesome designs in Hex, then dealing with RGB and a final printed product in CYMK - I am so hit and miss, because I only use Canva… can you Please recommend any color pickers or assistance that will help me understand what the final printing will look like?

I started out on Etsy for Digital Downloads, but I'm likely going to transition to Fourthwall as I look more into POD. Thanks for making this video as I hadn't been sure if I wanted to go through all of the setup stuff for Shopify and this answered that question for me.

Question re: future shops. I have plans to open a second FW shop, once my first is up and running.well. I would like to secure a domain now as the niche is popular and domain choices are limited. Shop will br promoted through a blog and I have not decided if a website will also be necessary. Does it make much difference if I register the domain on the cheapest site vs Hostinger which is where I'd build a website if needed?
May, can't we make some our own artist market place somehow? Like "United artist" or something. Why is so complicated to sell some art. :(
the only thing I don't like of fourthwall is the fact it's not a marketplace, but essentially it's an easier and cheap alternative to printful + shopify
It's one of the things I actually liked most about it, to have a shop that isn't on a marketplace, but still get paid the commission part.
I think that marketplaces are great, but when you bring in your own traffic- marketplaces usually pay you less at the same cost for the supplier, (accept for Etsy), as well as you give traffic to your competitors.
Sorry to comment again, but I was just wondering if you have tried the writing site Medium? If so, what was your thoughts and experiences with it? I just signed up and have published twice now and so far I like getting back to writing. Would love to know your thoughts!
I was writing on medium years ago... can't even remember when, Maybe in 2016...
I think it could be a really great place to publish for certain niches. Not to blog like "12 cute kawaii phone cases" but more like "How to journal for mental clarity" stuff like that.

Yes I've used some Printful, but haven't done much because I haven't figured out the monetization part!!
And SO, I haven't been blogging much because of that.

My whole business idea is to show people how to surface pattern design, and put their designs on fabric as well as a miriad of other applications, and have a monthly subscription option, as well as for people to be able to buy my fabric and whatever I choose to create with Printful.
Monetizing a website... MANY ways-
Ads, affiliate marketing, Print on demand, pritnables...
Best organic way to get traffic would heavily depend on the topic.
I mean, if you make cute designs on multiple items, blogging about gifts could work.
If you make designs for vegans- blogging vegan recipes.
If you make designs for journaling- make videos on journaling.
there is no one way fits all...
Fourthwall is a shop, and if you have a blog that includes items you're selling recommended in it- that is a way to monetize that blog.
Based on the topic you mentioned it sounds like you need a RUclips channel... I personally use Payhip for selling my digital files (meytribe.com) and Patreon for memberships.
BUT- you can manage both of these topics on FW as well.
As for buying Fabric... people who wanna learn how to sell fabric- rarely buy it. Same way that my viewers here are not my potential POD customers, they are POD sellers themselves.

can you sell personalized item on fourth wall?
Yes and no, I explained that in the video. basically yes- but it will be a manual upload, not a POD product upload.
Just an idea... it would be great if your videos had chapters
I know... BUT, every video that I create chapters for get's about 60% less views.
At first I thought it was weird or just in my head but than I saw a lot of videos about that, that it hurts the video from being seen... so i stopped.
