I have just turned 60 and I have to say Kirsten the Friday Pattern Co is my favourite company I just love their patterns and their ethos too. I'm with you on the thongs and skinny straps too, loathe them!
Good Morning Kirsten. You look so beautiful today. I'm watching your video now. It's 9am in South Africa, it's Sunday. So you probably asleep now. I love you videos very much. You stock the most amazing patterns and fabrics. I have never seen the patterns here that you stock not to mention the beautiful fabrics. We used to get the most amazingly lovely fabrics here. Unfortunately our Rand is doing badly, the result is imports are not as good as before. I'm not pleading poverty lol but to buy things from another companies is virtually over the top. I have found beautiful free patterns on the internet. The fit for me seems to be better for me. More realistic for me. You don't want to see my weird shape. Well that's my story today. Please take care and keep warm. Kind Regards. Maryn King from a cold SA
Thanks so much Maryn! Loved hearing from you today x
I also live in South Africa, and I miss the gorgeous variety of fabrics too. We are getting grotty fabrics at a large price tag. I love watching your patterns and divine fabrics.
I like seeing your weather. I have family in Melbourne and it is funny your idea of cold weather…..from Canada.
Great pattern selection I really like the last swimsuit. But I am unsure of where to find swimsuit material.
I am watching from the Midwest of USA
Gday!
Hi great patterns I’m working on the Nicks dress with Madam Iris fabrics tricky little number slippy fabrics. Cold haha. _2 for us the other morning. Xxx Sharon. Taranaki. Pussindocs xx
Now thats cold Sharon! What a stunning part of the world you live in!
So many great patterns. The surf suit; as a red head that’s my preferred style for ocean swimming. Great I can make my own. Can see I’m about to spend a bit of money😂. Have a great weekend.
Yep, we have to be sun smart nowadays! Thanks so much x
I finally made a Berlin jacket yesterday. So cosy❤
Lovely cosy pattern Sue!
Have to agree Kristen, big girl pants for me every time ! Have been pouring through pattern options for frocktails. I am now more confused than ever! But will find something! Have a great week and see you next vlog.
Thanks so much for watching !
I've just made my first Bloom Top from Sinclair patterns! It's a great one!
Wonderful!
You look gorgeous!
Thank you so much! That's very sweet xx
Daphne is one of my favourite smelling flowers 🌸
Oh me too!!!
Great video Kristen, I really love your Nova coat, I have that pattern, will make it this Fall. I love the look of your longer hair 😊. I had to smile also when you said how cold it is, I’m in Canada and our winter temperatures can go down to -20C in January!
Hi Kristen I'm loving all your videos this week. So many new patterns. Always a few I haven't seen yet. That Itch-to-stitch dress is stunning. I couldn't resist. I can't wait to make it up. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend❤❤
You are so welcome! Such a beautiful Pattern!
Great selection always good to know what next thanks Kristen 😊😊
You are so welcome!
Thank you for this video, I love patterns so much! My favorites are the Ella Dress and the Bloom square neckline woven top! 😍
You are so welcome!
I join you on the bra situation, I find strapless bras are torture devices holding up my “chesticles”, as Cara calls them😂. I used to live in them though while in my 20’s and around the 14B cup range. Great inspo once again, and I did buy the Itch to Stitch dress❤.
@@rebeccaw9656 ahhh yes, the 14b cup I once had too 😂 things were much simpler then
Cheers Kristen ❤
Thanks Rachel!
100% agree on strappy option. Not for me. I see many people love them, but not my style
Yep, I avoid them too sadly x
I wish there were a web site for us grandmothers great grandmothers who are size 20-22 not proud of their bodies but still have hope of sewing something that would make me feel and look decent not like a Blimp. I apologize sincerely. Guess I'm seeing too many young people with gorgeous figures. I am 78 a new widow. Thanks for reading. God Bless
The straps on the swimsuits look too thin for those with a D cup
xXX👍👍👍
