@@TeRex777 can you try a package from disk and the license rif file. Give them same name eg. Name.pkg and Name.rif and install to see if it is making use of the license rif file.

Good method but it's not of much use on JB ps4. Debug settings are quite easy to navigate when installing. This s however useful for retail packages.

Doesn't work:
I've downloaded Mortal Kombat 11 Patch 1.17.
Merged all PKG files to 1 PKG File, renamed the file to the content ID and copied to USB drive.
Jailbreak PS4 Pro and run the Auto install.
After connecting USB I only get 3 notifications:
- Unit is updating
- Nothing updated
- Update Done
But MK11 is still on base version.
Tried other games as well, but same result.
only works on retail pkgs without hen.
No point in this since you still need debug settings in order to play the games.

sometimes when running hen on 6.72 you don't get the debug settings you still can play fpkg but no means to install new one unless you restar the system and run again hen and hope to get the debug settings this time.

You need a console on 5.05 6.72 or 7.02 firmware . Then have the extracted update 1.09 files . Then run the either the 720p or the 1080p exe in the same folder as the updates 'eboot'. Then rebuild (using fake pkg tools) and link the update to your already built base game fpkg

I’m curious will it work on 8.02 like for example can you take the PlayStation store games that you purchased from riff files and convert them to a fake package file and run them on 7.02 or even patch the update files and have them converted so you can down ported the games too
Because if it will work then there is no limits on how many games you can actually have so you can have the whole complete PS4 collection and thinking back on the PS3 years with multi man if we can make a similar multi man as it was for the PS3 and we make one for the PS4 then that would mean we can have our complete game collection on the display as it was for the PlayStation 3 and as long we run HEN first to activate multi man then that would mean we should be able to run all games official PS4 games or fake package files so there’s some food for thought all it takes is to think outside the box for once

The app doesnt work. Did everything exactly as is shown here. But when I plug in my usb it says something like ''nothing to update''. Im running 9.0

Nice Idea, but you can't control what you want to install so Debug Installer is more determined.

Hi buddy. i just did jailbreaking my ps4 which on 11.00 version, it did jailbreak and i am sure i followed all the steps correctly
but for some reason its not detecting my external hdd on which all fakepkgs are download, its on exfat formate, when i tried other hdd it works and i tried this hdd with other console and it works ( need your help )

Can someone explain the point of this way of installing if you need HEN to play the game anyway when HEN also lets you use the debug pkg installer ?
maybe to use the ps4 while installing the games in the backgroud
for example playing media player while the auto pkg isntaller do the installation in the backgroud

in a way we can make a pkg to Jailbrake the ps4 without even need the browser ... i suppose that is very possible and you will just need to wait to jailbrake when you open it
Mine froze with symbol "please wait, updating IDU". What is IDU? I pressed the ps button and say close application, so it's running, but I still have "Please wait, updating IDU" in the top right...
Unplug USB and plug it back in. If it doesn't start installing the pkg then the files on the USB are either not installed correctly or USB is in wrong format.

USB is in ExFAT 128Kilobytes, I have the whole thing exactly like you precisely but it still doesnt install anything. Changed the name of the pkg properly with pkg editor aswell.

Hello I know I'm a month late but I strongly doubt 6.20 will get support, I recommend you to update to 7.02 if you haven't already or 7.55 if you want less stability but more of the newer homebrew coming up

So does this mean, I can basically play retail games on my ps4 after updating it to the current system version? Once I installed the installer pkg, then update, then just install retail games without having to jailbreak it. Does that make any sense what I just said?? 🙄
Only if you have the license for the retail game tied to your account. Otherwise it will be locked just like the version of Crash N Sane Trilogy I install at the end of this video. Retail games require a license and fake pkg games require HEN or Mira which requires a Jailbreak.
