are the red parts on the shoulder intended to be loose? and is the white/red part below the cockpit is hit and often times removed when the cockpit itself is being opened? just started building mine tonight and encountered those issues
@Nibras Yunus yeah. Matter of fact, i'm pretty sure BANDAI's fine tip panel liner is essentially the same thing. I don't use it anymore, since i recently bought a bottle of TAMIYA panel liner black.

The RG Unicorn is a good place to start because it doesn't have the same complexity of a modern RG, but it's inner frame isn't loose either. Just don't go for the banshee norn, since the shield weighs down on the shoulder, and the joint on mine cracked. As for panel liner, i currently use Tamiya's bottled panel liner, but i've also never tried BANDAI's markers.

Aron Ashurov a top coat can be kinda useful as for me I don't use spray cans cause I don't wanna get any toxics or anything, I use Vallejo matte varnish out of the dropper and I thin it with a tiny bit of water and brush it over my model giving it a matte finish look to it or you can get gloss varnish which makes your model look glossy as far as difference in not using it it's not a major difference in my opinion just panel line it if you can't get a top coat and you should be fine hope this helps
This might be late, but you could just go to your local hardware store and look for one that’s compatible with plastic. A can of clear top coat, matte or gloss, should just be around $2-$3. $4 to $5 at most for the more expensive brands.
I am not so fun of building gundam but this channel motivated me to buy and build one.

You could, sand it down to where it's perfect, and paint the sanded area with a chrome paint. Testor model master makes one
Is the inner leg hard to build?
i think all RGs comes with pre-built inner frames, that's why he didn't show the assembly of the inner frame

Its kinda long , but its easy.
It took me 4 hours to build, 3 hours to decal, 1 hour to panel line. 8 hours in total, 3 days of span.
What are these ? 3D puzzles, or Transformers ? Ma.K ? Never seen these before
