Actually that's pretty cool. I want to see what it looks like with a 1/10 scale crawler sitting on it. I kept hoping your were going to set one on there, lol. nice video..
You and Matt should totally make a monthly Mayham series out of this Get a rc trailer and use that to haul the comp truck and use the bed to store all your tools, charger, speaker, and spare parts Love the videos
I just got an email from Traxxas for this. I love this far more than any of the other 6x6 platforms. Now I don’t have to convert my King Hauler. It would be super cool to see a tow truck RC.
Dude I saw this video come up and I thought eh. ran out of things to watch and I gave it a go. Pretty sweet unit. It's pretty easy to see how much you liked it from the cheesy grin you had the hole way through the video. If your into that sort of thing Traxxas really nailed it.
I had left comments on your videos that stated. When will Traxxas rerelease TRX 6x6 to General public. When I saw this video earlier didn’t finish till now. I called my Hobby shop and put my name in for Truck.
Yup this with a bed winch and front winch would be awesome. Print up a pivot for the bed and add a linear actuator to tilt it as well. Pair it with a off road trailer for a awesome recovery rig. Would love to see one at comps for scale recovery when trucks die on the trail.
With just a few pounds on it it truly crawls great. There are many circumstances it can get up things that nothing else can. Yes it's got a questionable break over but in actual use goes anywhere that it can fit. Dangerously bought this on impulse and it has turned out to be my favorite truck ever which I think is totally crazy. I don't haul anything besides tools batteries and a speaker if I'm doing crawling stuff also it makes an excellent recovery vehicle. I use a pulley off the end of the bed and it makes it a lot stronger and the placement of the winch then makes perfect sense
I just finished that Phoenix kit and I must say wow This is the highest quality kit I've ever put together in 39 years of modeling thank you so much good job
@@thundervalleycbshop thank you. That kit looks like a hoot to put together. I’m not a fan of rtrs so I’m always looking for a hood kit to build. Tamiya kits are always fun but they can’t compete with Vanquish, Axials, Traxxas, etc.
People can hate and talk crap about Traxxas all they want but they make really well made vehicles that are nicely put together, like what you mentioned about the bed being properly mounted to the frame. Probably not a truck I'd buy but cool that they made it available to everyone
The obvious project is to turn it into a working rollback to haul your crawlers around at scale nats. Drive that up then roll the crawler off. Bonus points for scale speed binders and chains.
Thank's for sharing Josh I'm Excited Anticipating the arrival of the Pre-order from my LHS one thing for sure it's a Huge Model and with my custom Logo Sand Ladder's for ramps it'll be a Blast ✌🤠👍 Having Fun Laughing Playing and RCing 🙏 Stay Safe and Play Healthy My Friend ❣️
that thing looks like its got tons of room for an interior! very excited about this minus the electronics lol. a great looking truck no doubt. gonna have to add it to the list
I'd think about shortening the bed and putting some type of scale tow hitch to haul a wagon to and from running spots instead of a backpack or parts box.
I love it, and if I end up getting myself one of these I will end up taking a trx4 defender body and chopping it down to make a big defender hauler, with a land rover on the rear😎
I saw a guy that got the snap on version, take the rollback deck off and built a "communications box" on the back like a military truck, but inside was a Bluetooth speaker he tore apart and integrated, and a battery charger that did up to 4s the he tore apart ad well. It was really cool to see his ideas and build.
About time, the snap on one was nearly unobtanium. The snap on 33 Ford body was high up on my wish list. They were a base 4 tech, with non adjustable turnbuckles, and a brushed motor, and for the longest time I couldn't get just the body. I need a clear one to custom airbrush, and with Traxxas stuff that makes it so much more expensive.
Be bomb have your car on the back with and enclosed trailer to tow. Or a 3d printed storage container for the flatbed and tow the car on a flatbed trailer. Cool stuff!
...OMG..... Yer actually drivin' your builds, I mean boughten RC's !!! - Great stuff Mr. Josh !!! 👍 THAT TAXXUS HAULER IS HUGE !! "😯" ...Price Tag "Anyone"... [$]...!!??? 🤔 Hey we can haul ammo cans now !!! 💪🇺🇸
Was gonna convert my RC4WD Beast II to a hauler, but now I don't have to! I'll wait for clear body (& windows) & aftermarket tilt bed/working under bed tool boxes. Also need to know-how many 6 packs can it haul on the bed? This should be the basis of next Monthly Mayhem- maybe a Dakar 6x6 or a 6x6 drag truck build (see if carrier bearing holds up!).
i for sure want one hahahahahahahaha. i think you need to do a whole metal back end, and make it move back so a car can fully go on it properly. just saying haha. cool run video at the end.
I know this may sound ridiculous but when I saw this, in my minds eye I see my DAKAR build. Yeah even though that means losing the 6x6 third axle and hacking the frame. It so fits what I have been thinking of building and at the scale I had been wanting. Too bad it will be later in the year if I plan it now. I'll be watching this one 😉👍
I was thinking the same thing. It has a long chassis for a Dakar Rally Truck. If you can't part with the 3rd axle you could still make a 3 axle Dakar Rally support truck.
From what I can tell, the only differences between that and my snap on one is body paint, the writing on the flatbed says Snapon and the chrome isn’t black chrome on the Snapon one.
Will a short scale shipping container fit on the back? That'd make a pretty rad tool hauler. Or just get to work on CAD and design the scale roll back set up.
You should design a servo controlled wheel lift on the back so u can haul one car on the bed and hook to one behind the truck...alot of rollbacks have a wheel lift on the rear for hauling 2 vehicle s at a time...but still an awesome truck...would the brodozer wheels from cen racing fit on/under it?? I bet that would look cool...
Josh us owner of the Regular trx6 snap-on hauler are pre order the new one and and traxxas should have included the light kit with turn single and rear views light but the prices is close to the Regular trx6
Did I just get blamed for a curb hit?
No doot. 🤣
That’s pretty good, to be able to do that all the way from home. Such a pro.
yep,,😂😂
You sure did!. I was confused again. “Wait who is who?” Though he was Josh 😂
The shame was too much to handle
Actually that's pretty cool. I want to see what it looks like with a 1/10 scale crawler sitting on it. I kept hoping your were going to set one on there, lol. nice video..
Awesome! a place for TRX4 guys to carry extra brass.
joking aside, looks very well done. good job traxxas
Haha! Couldn’t resist the Matt joke when Joe kissed the curb. Lol
I actually have the Snap On version. I have worked in a body shop 30+ years. Walked on the truck one day, saw it.....
And took it home
Dang the guy from my area couldn't get a hold of any, I was wanting one
Look back at the episode when you asked us to predict what new RC would be coming out this year - I called it!!
You and Matt should totally make a monthly Mayham series out of this
Get a rc trailer and use that to haul the comp truck and use the bed to store all your tools, charger, speaker, and spare parts
Love the videos
💯%
Awesome, beer delivery from my house to my shop just got easier. Way to go Traxxas.
Wow, the footage of the cars drifting around the Hauler is totally insane :) love it
Great vid!! Thank you for pulling out the tape measure on the bed!! Good stuff, keep it coming.
Damn it, now I have another RC to buy.
Dang, this is the first time I've been interested in a traxxas.
I like the idea of the rolling tool box.
Be well, and have fun
That truck looks to be a great foundation for a bigger 6x6 crawler type build.
**"Hey... now days, just 3D-print some RC (side-carrier) wideners"** 👌😉
I just got an email from Traxxas for this. I love this far more than any of the other 6x6 platforms. Now I don’t have to convert my King Hauler.
It would be super cool to see a tow truck RC.
You gotta make that bed roll back like it's supposed to.
It may be worth a try!
Definitely would be awesome!
It’s been done. Josh should film it. ruclips.net/video/f5swA2d1ezg/видео.html
Rc hobby off Bradshaw is one of the best shops I’ve been too! As a child I went to their old location. Thanks for the recommendation
Dude I saw this video come up and I thought eh. ran out of things to watch and I gave it a go. Pretty sweet unit. It's pretty easy to see how much you liked it from the cheesy grin you had the hole way through the video. If your into that sort of thing Traxxas really nailed it.
That truck is huge! I'm glad they brought this out. Gonna have to pull the trigger on one. Love the looks and all the lights.
I feel like a winch in the front of the ramp and some scale chains w/ J-hooks would be cool
I had left comments on your videos that stated. When will Traxxas rerelease TRX 6x6 to General public. When I saw this video earlier didn’t finish till now. I called my Hobby shop and put my name in for Truck.

Duuuuuuude!!! I see a removable RV shell in my future build of this!!! Man o man , the Wife's gonna be pissed!!!
With just a few pounds on it it truly crawls great. There are many circumstances it can get up things that nothing else can. Been watching Josh's filming technics huh? Lol great video!!
Time for another top speed challenge!! Haha
This thing is really cool and it looks like you really look led it!
Hi sir I'm very impressed with this truck. VERY COOL THANKS FOR POSTING SIR 🇬🇧🇺🇲🕊️✌🏼🤩👍🏼
It's about frkn time,!
I did not want to get another TRX ...but with this I guess I have to rethink 🍺🍺
I just finished that Phoenix kit and I must say wow This is the highest quality kit I've ever put together in 39 years of modeling thank you so much good job
What’s a Phoenix kit?
@@White000Crow The vanquish VS4 - 10 Phoenix
@@thundervalleycbshop thank you. That kit looks like a hoot to put together. I’m not a fan of rtrs so I’m always looking for a hood kit to build. Tamiya kits are always fun but they can’t compete with Vanquish, Axials, Traxxas, etc.
Thank you for posting didn’t finish video. Called Hobby shop to put me down for 2
Dang now I gotta get three😂
These should sell real good
Wow. That's Amaizing! I need one of those now.
People can hate and talk crap about Traxxas all they want but they make really well made vehicles that are nicely put together, like what you mentioned about the bed being properly mounted to the frame.
Probably not a truck I'd buy but cool that they made it available to everyone
I’m buying Kant wait. Ya hoooo
That brand new supra got worked.
The obvious project is to turn it into a working rollback to haul your crawlers around at scale nats. Drive that up then roll the crawler off. Bonus points for scale speed binders and chains.
Dude! I live a couple’ blocks from RC Country in Rosemont. Hope to see you there one day!
Oh man Moosejaws accident was epic. Blaming Matt was priceless.
That thing looks clean with the bed and the rims.
Thank's for sharing Josh I'm Excited Anticipating the arrival of the Pre-order from my LHS one thing for sure it's a Huge Model and with my custom Logo Sand Ladder's for ramps it'll be a Blast
✌🤠👍 Having Fun Laughing Playing and RCing 🙏 Stay Safe and Play Healthy My Friend ❣️
Just ordered mine. I collect the 6x6's. Got 2 of the benz 1 to drive & 1 shelf .same write the umg10 6x6. I want 2 of these !
Good thing you had the hauler to haul the wreck home. 🤣
that thing looks like its got tons of room for an interior! very excited about this minus the electronics lol. a great looking truck no doubt. gonna have to add it to the list
I would like to see a TRX4 on it.
It's a little bit too wide for the bed, the wheels of my trx4 blazer sit on top of the rails of my hauler
Heck yes Harley just awesome! I was hoping to win the snap on hauler they had on Snap on trucks!! Which that looks like a black one 🤔
Can it haul a traxxas slash 2wd?
Expedition vehicle build comes to mind
RC County is my local shop also! Matter of fact, I live near the owners home.
I wish soo much it didn't look like a Frieghtliner! Yuk! Thanks for the video man.
Wait it’s not a international? I can’t really tell
A Dakar overlanding box might be fun to build with tubing and plates
The flex seal truck would look good on there, but that would make a great base for a Exhibition off road camper
It's the same has the Snap on one I have both just wish the bed would move like a real flatbed
Good content. Audio was jammin ✨🏆🎥🏆✨🤝🤙🎶
its definitely cool for its specific purpose
That thing is badass I would definitely make that bed roll back and tip up just like a real car hauler
Big overland truck builds. Monthly mayhem
Needs a tilt bed option, black chrome molded grille, clear windows (and I would add smoke stacks)
RC country off micron ? Place looks awfully familiar lol... Love to see how that hauler crawls .
I saw a guy that got the snap on version, take the rollback deck off and built a "communications box" on the back like a military truck, but inside was a Bluetooth speaker he tore apart and integrated, and a battery charger that did up to 4s the he tore apart ad well. That thing is so awesome
Great video. Would be cool to haul the traxxas funny car to the track.
It’s so detailed except for the most important part no tilt deck or winch🥲🥲🥲🥲
Jeez I figured it was gonna be a bit bigger than the Mercedes trx6 but got damn that thing is massive
Good thing a wrecker was on hand (Matt!)😅
All my friends hit curbs!
Need to print a scale shipping container to house your chargers and stuff just like the RCPC.
will a ripper fit between the bed rails?
Gonna need one(two)
Great, now I want to build a TRX6 based recovery vehicle.
About time, the snap on one was nearly unobtanium. The snap on 33 Ford body was high up on my wish list. They were a base 4 tech, with non adjustable turnbuckles, and a brushed motor, and for the longest time I couldn't get just the body. be a sick overland camping rig... post apocalypse...
Be bomb have your car on the back with and enclosed trailer to tow. Or a 3d printed storage container for the flatbed and tow the car on a flatbed trailer. Cool stuff!
The g500 trx4 had 2.8 inch rims I believe, and a low profile tire
...OMG..... Yer actually drivin' your builds, I mean boughten RC's !!!
- Great stuff Mr. Josh !!! 👍 THAT TAXXUS HAULER IS HUGE !! "😯"
...Price Tag "Anyone"... [$]...!!??? 🤔 Hey we can haul ammo cans now !!!
💪🇺🇸
June 24th I'm up early at the hobby shop 😁😁
Put a crawler up on there that’s what I would like to have this thing for cruising my Crawler into the gig!
Such a cool truck...
Best part of the video...the Supra getting "stuck".
It seems like theses Haulers are in high demand. It is an awesome truck.
Love it! How many Dancing Riders can it haul?
Awesome so they brought it out! Idk that thing is epic!! Sorry kids was little loud missed first few mins! And here there got rewatch
Cool Haller but why did Traxxas make the bed stationary ???
Would love to see a tilt bed option.
What the bed doesn't tilt down that makes it gay right there
Nice looking truck. What are dimensions of tne tool boxes?
i for sure want one hahahahahahahaha.
i think you need to do a whole metal back end, and make it move back so a car can fully go on it properly.
just saying haha.
cool run video at the end.
you need to have the 4tecs doing doughnuts around the hauler.......with the ripper on the back!?
I know this may sound ridiculous but when I saw this, in my minds eye I see my DAKAR build. Yeah even though that means losing the 6x6 third axle and hacking the frame. Pretty sure a lot of people on RUclips get these to drive the passion for the hobby.
it sucks the bed doesn't tilt since they made a place for the winch......although its still cool as hell lol
Josh us owner of the Regular trx6 snap-on hauler are pre order the new one and and traxxas should have included the light kit with turn single and rear views light but the prices is close to the Regular trx6
Can it carry cats to the veterinarian?
I think you should haul another trx6 hauler that is hauling the trx6.
