Here in this video, Video One I filmed at the Ascot Vale Model Train Exhibition, Melbourne's inner northern suburbs, on Saturday, August 3, 2024, we see a Scale Model Train Set depicting the Real World Carlingford Train Line and Station, in the inner western suburbs of Sydney, NSW.
This line ran from the late 19th ~ early 20th Centuries, until it was closed permanently in 2021/22, to allow for its conversion to a Light Rail tram line to/from Parramatta Station, in Sydney's mid western suburbs. This video here shows two of Sydney's Suburban Electric Trains, one being a 4 - car W or M Set of single deck motor cars and double deck trailer cars, the other a 4 - car Tangara double deck train. The work has been extensive on the display, the exhibitors including a Recording of "Next Train" audio information synonymous with Sydney's Suburban Electric Train Network.
