- In the opening verse of the Gospel of John, we encounter the beginning of the Christmas story. Even before time itself began, God had a plan and purpose to provide a Savior to a rebellious world. In this Christmas Eve message, Alistair Begg reminds us that Jesus, as the eternal Son of God, stepped into time not ultimately to live but to die. Because of Christ, we can know a love like no other-a love that seeks in order to save, allowing us to know and share the greatest story the world has ever known.
Scripture: John 1:14; 2 Corinthians 8:9
Preached: December 24th, 2023

Give me strength Heavenly Father, I come to you today asking for your blessings as a single mom. My husband is in heaven with you. I’m raising my children with strength and courage, despite the challenges I face with my sons both being autistic. Lord as I struggle to pay my rent every month and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I ask that you bless me with your wisdom and guidance, as I navigate parenthood on my own heal my lupus and heart disease and continue to give me strength to keep going so I may watch my sons grow into men. ❤
Not this year. I'm ready to go home to Jesus Christ THIS YEAR!

As much as I respect you & your teachings Pastor Begg, as you are my go-to preacher/teacher; I feel the need to point out WHY people were burning the Beatles albums back in the day. Not me, cuz I was a bit young for that event. Anyway, my understanding is because John Lennon himself said that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ. So he actually started the fire, so to speak. And he also degraded Jesus in a book or magazine publication. So for Christians to bow down to him is rather folly to say the least. He was egotistical, adulterous & abusive to his wife.
