Can FINLAND Break a 60 YEAR Basketball Curse?

Today I take my talks to Finland! I talk about the Susijengi (Finland's men's basketball team) and their fight to breaking a 60 year curse of not making the Olympics.
Lauri Markkanen, Miro Little and Mikael Jantunen are set up to play in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament here in June. I rundown an article put out by FIBA.basketball and what to look for in this upcoming Susijengi team.
While Lauri is taking a break from the Utah Jazz... he is set to return to the court in a friendly game against New Zealand in Finland at the end of June. I am excited to see him back on the court!!

They need to step up but its doable in my oppinion. It was basicly new susijengi in world cup. So now they had 1 tournament done with this group. Cant wait to those qualifiers

The road to the Olympics is difficult, but of course I believe in our Team! At least give them a chance and criticize afterwards. Also forget the World Cup and especially the Japan game. Players and Coach Tuovi are now one Year more experienced and that's a lot in age of 20+. Thanks Spence for the historic overview 😁. If You see Lauri, say Hi and congrats from me 😂. Go Susijengi... I have no clue how good Bahamas basketball team is.
However Finland very likely will lose against Poland. Lauri is our only good player, he cant do much when rest are garbage. Ok, maybe we have couple others who dont totally suck all day every day. Heck, if opponent pressure at all, our team cant even make 1 pass. Those guys cant even dribble if defender is closer than 2 meters from them.
We had decent team few years ago but many of our key players aged and they are retired or way too slow for international level. Next generation well, i cant have lower expetations.
But who knows, maybe Lauri can beat Poland alone. Its our only hope. Consider how good Lauri is, its not impossible if rest of the team dont turn ball over every other posession. What they will do.
