I’ve only played Ghost of Tsushima on PS5 but when I went over my girlfriends house and played it at 30fps on the base ps4 I couldn’t believe how good we have it now lol
Bloodborne (first and foremost), Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4, The Witcher 3, GTA V, Control and Red Dead Redemption 2 desperately need a 4K 60fps patch. I believe GTA V and The Witcher 3 have already been confirmed for 2021 and I do hope the others will get the same treatment as well. Also, I want Jedi Fallen Order as much upgraded as humanly possible!
I think a lot of people are not getting the point. These games are made for the ps4 and he is just making a vid on which games he thought has a difference when playing on a ps5.It is a ps4 game running on a ps5.
I played until dawn recently on ps5 and... WOW! A. It was my first time actually playing it instead of watching friends play here and there B. Loved the game C. Loved the graphics and D. It was sooo smooth.
You should try the two Dark Pictures Anthology games Man of Medan and Little Hope. Same devs, not as good as Until Dawn because it had a massive budget but still worth playing
@@fierytigergaming8112 just has a locked 60 during framerate which is a big imrovement over the 20-30 frams on ps4 but the game still has its little graphical hiccups here and there.
I got ShadowFall on release day with the Ps4 and have been wondering how it holds up these days but never got around to actually trying it. I am very impressed with how good it still looks!

Me too!!! I missed out on a lot of PS4 titles last gen cause I was covering the ps vita but now I feel like I'm given a second chance with backwards compatibility on PS5🙂
@@xDeadEye1 Sekiro and Demon's Souls are very different.. they have in common only difficulty, checkpoint mechanics and content quality level.. Many people who liked Sekiro don't like Souls series and I loved Souls series and Sekiro not that much because rpg mechanics is lacking.. Sekiro = Action Adventure, Soulsborne = Action RPG
God of War got an unexpected 4K 60fps update on the PS5 after this video came out! Also my contribution would definitely be Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. 60fps is so important in a stealth shooter, and it feels like an entirely different game!

Yes that's one thing that annoys me. Not enough storage! Either that or the games take up way to much storage themselves. Call of Duty Cold War took over 100GB alone. wtf?!?

Unity was impressive for me back then , the crowd system , the immerssion , the happenings , crowd talk, the sights , environnement. I never used F.Tin this one .. i walked everywhere , I was impressed by it.
Same here. I was really impressed by it back then. I just wished it ran better back when I played it. I had really slow internet back then and I remember having to download the update and having it finish about the same time I made it to the end of the game haha

Frame rate is king. I put my PS5 in Performance Mode by default and never looked back. 60 FPS needs to be the new standard. I’m not buying any games that don’t offer it. I just can’t go back 🙃

Maaaan I've played nothing but the switch for the last 3 years and honestly.... I had to slow down your video to half speed to see the differences in frame rate. Once I did that for a bit, I can now see it at full speed.

I cant wait to play red dead online, and replay the witcher 3 and ac unity on the ps5. Also i feel kinda lucky for never having played most of the games that released from 2018 onwards, because now i will be able to play them in 4k, something my base ps4 does not do
Yeah, I had the same issue. I missed out on a lot of the ps4 games cause I was playing on the vita but now when I think about, it's probably best I missed out on them cause now I can play them at 60fps. Something that wasn't possible when the games were released.
Not to mention the SSD load times for well-optimized games are often like 10-15 seconds max. There's something about video game loading screens that seem to make time dilate and a 60-secind loading screen feels five times as long lol.
I have impressed by the following: Red Faction Guerrilla, Earth Defense Force (4 and the one that runs on UE4), Disaster Report, Spiderman (with RT) all run at a solid 60 FPS. PS5 is awesome
Another good upgraded game for the ps5 you should revisit is jedi fallen order, it now has a higher resolution and in my experience, usually has a stable 60 fps

Remember being in High School, coming home from school on the bus and playing FFX on my fat PS2 all night. Didn't even do my homework either lol

Just today I found out that GTA V on next-gen consoles is going to be "more than just a port," according to R*. They plan to add content (again) for the next-gen version. It's crazy to think that it released back on the PS3. Released on PS3 release, got an update update added content (including CATS) for PS4, and now it's getting another update for PS5. That game has been chugging along for QUITE a long time when you think about it. I'm also stoked to play Nier: Automata on PS5. And dude, you're 100% RIGHT about FFXV. I absolutely love that game. I ended up putting 210 hours into it, getting the platinum, and I've completed ALMOST 100% of everything. I actually think it's a superior game to FF7R, overall. FF7R has better graphics, of course, and better story/character writing by far, but it's so disappointing how the game ends up feeling so incredibly railroaded. Square didn't even try to hide how linear it is. I hated how I constantly felt like I was fighting the game for control, and worst of all, the game is literally 50% gameplay and 50% cutscenes. Ugh.

They haven't got patches yet, but I can tell you from experience they do have much better locked frame rates. I'm playing FF7 remake on PS5 and I haven't seen it drop a single frame, even during heavy action scenes. It looks beautiful.
So far I’ve played FFXV, Jedi: Fallen Order, and Ghost of Tsushima with 60 FPS on my PS5... it’s amazing & I can’t believe it made such a huge difference

I used PSX Download Helper to download AC Unity V1.00 on my PS4 Pro and then moved it to my PS5 Digital. Just have to remember to not let the update finish. Plan on testing God of War next.
This for me is the best thing so far with the ps5. The ps4 just couldnt run newer games that well. The ps5 finally let's me enjoy all the great ps4 games that were frustrating on ps4. The load times is also so much more bearable after the horrible ps4 load times.
Definitely! I held off on a lot of the later PS4 releases cause I knew PS5 was either going to get a remaster release or get an update. Been waiting forever to play Ghost of Tsushima!!!

I got a few ps5 games such as miles morales and dirt 5 but I will be more then happy playing updates or just better experience ps4 games for awhile until something good comes out for ps5. I got call of duty as a pack in with my ps5 but that's been uninstalled as it's still buggy. Same with the new assassins creed. I have no desire to ruin the experience by playing a buggy unmatched game

U could try tlou 2, ghost of tsushima, dark souls, uncharted 1 2 3 4 and lost legacy, horizon zero dawn, bloodbourne, Street fighter 5, resident evil 7, days gone, call of duty mw 2019 or god of war 3.
It's pretty crazy how much of a boost the PS5 provides. E.g. I remember playing this random indie game called Brain in Retro Space. On PS4, the bugger chugged in 20fps. On PS5, I got locked 60fps. Sony really needs its own FPS Boost initiative, just like Microsoft.
I din't know some games on the list. But Sekiro is a must play game on PS5 now, runs smoothly. GOT and Days gone, which is underrated game IMO are definitely worth it as well
It’s such a shame AC Unity‘s launch was so rough. I really liked the direction the franchise was headed in back then. I haven’t loved an AC game since Unity.
Just played through ffxv and all episodes on ps5, shame that even on lite mode the fps jumps loads on battles... very badly optimized game. So yeah, no 60fps lock all the time.
i highly recommend play resident evil 7 on ps5 was busy doing the platinum on ps4 but after i managed to buy a ps5 i continued it on there i just finished the platinum and i gotta say after playing on both ps4 and ps5 the diference is night and day
the problem with AC UNITY i found is once the framerate is OVER 30fps the cloth physics are almost non existent, it looks trashy, i had to use my Nvidia on pc to limit it to 30fps just to have everything work right, you can even see it in your comparison, sadly it seems the game was limited to 30fps for full quality... i wish there was a way to unlock the framerate on the cloth physics for PC
I mean, if you don't care for 60fps you can just play the game with the patch instead and have a locked 30fps. At least then you won't have to deal with the game glitches and bugs.
@IronChefWong I can understand people who have a ps4 pro and say they can't tell the difference but base ps4 is a huge difference! Glad you guys finally got the chance to upgrade👍
Here's the thing to remember. If you're going to play it unpatched with 60fps just know since it's unpatched it will have the bugs and glitches that were apparent on day one. But if you do download the, most bug and glitches will be fixed but you'll be playing at a locked 30fps. Even though it is 30fps with the patch it is a locked 30fps. So either way you have a good time. Enjoy!👍
Wow the PS5 graphics are going blow me away when it gets here, as I'm still playing on my PS4. I didn't want to get the Pro out of protest that there shouldn't be a halfway console like Apple does with its feckin phones.
Yeah, I felt like the pro didn't really add much. I think they only released it because of the VR thing. The stock ps4 was having trouble running the VR headset.

@@SuperJumpReviews 4K on console was huge in 2016. Especially on big open worlds. Games like zero dawn, Spider-Man and even Apex legends looks night and day on the pro. I think it has to do with far less pop ins so you can actually see the map entirely from afar and the frame rate increases are almost doubled making the worlds feel alive.
SuperJump is one of the lucky few who got a PS5 without scalpers interfering. Might as well buy two so you can sell the other to cover the entire purchase.

Borderlands 3 is my favorite optimized game on ps5, it can run up to 120fps if your monitor can handle it, but default is a solid 4k 60fps, with adaptive control. R2 button is like a gun trigger and changes depending on what gun you use. however its still BL3, i mean gameplay is the best among the other BL games, but story is the weak point of this game

I cant wait to play red dead online, and replay the witcher 3 and ac unity on the ps5. Also i feel kinda lucky for never having played most of the games that released from 2018 onwards, because now i will be able to play them in 4k, something my base ps4 does not do
Yeah, I had the same issue. I missed out on a lot of the ps4 games cause I was playing on the vita but now when I think about, it's probably best I missed out on them cause now I can play them at 60fps. Something that wasn't possible when the games were released.
Yea it's still don't be 4k but does a smart upscaling as it was on PS4 pro so the only thing we get is better FPS! But it's a good boost! :d

Not to mention the SSD load times for well-optimized games are often like 10-15 seconds max. There's something about video game loading screens that seem to make time dilate and a 60-secind loading screen feels five times as long lol.
I have impressed by the following: Red Faction Guerrilla, Earth Defense Force (4 and the one that runs on UE4), Disaster Report, Spiderman (with RT) all run at a solid 60 FPS. PS5 is awesome

Another good upgraded game for the ps5 you should revisit is jedi fallen order, it now has a higher resolution and in my experience, usually has a stable 60 fps

Just today I found out that GTA V on next-gen consoles is going to be "more than just a port," according to R*. They plan to add content (again) for the next-gen version.
It's crazy to think that it released back on the PS3. Released on PS3 release, got an update update added content (including CATS) for PS4, and now it's getting another update for PS5. That game has been chugging along for QUITE a long time when you think about it.
I'm also stoked to play Nier: Automata on PS5.
And dude, you're 100% RIGHT about FFXV. I absolutely love that game. I ended up putting 210 hours into it, getting the platinum, and I've completed ALMOST 100% of everything. I actually think it's a superior game to FF7R, overall. FF7R has better graphics, of course, and better story/character writing by far, but it's so disappointing how the game ends up feeling so incredibly railroaded. Square didn't even try to hide how linear it is. I hated how I constantly felt like I was fighting the game for control, and worst of all, the game is literally 50% gameplay and 50% cutscenes. Ugh.
I held off on FF7R because I'm waiting for the next gen patch on ps5 in june. I'll let you know how I like it😁

I’m still surprised TLOU2, FF7 Remake and God of War haven’t had proper PS5 support yet.
I'm pretty sure they hard at work on a patch right now as we speak.
They haven't got patches yet, but I can tell you from experience they do have much better locked frame rates. I'm playing FF7 remake on PS5 and I haven't seen it drop a single frame, even during heavy action scenes. It looks beautiful.

I used PSX Download Helper to download AC Unity V1.00 on my PS4 Pro and then moved it to my PS5 Digital. Just have to remember to not let the update finish. Plan on testing God of War next.

This for me is the best thing so far with the ps5. The ps4 just couldnt run newer games that well. The ps5 finally let's me enjoy all the great ps4 games that were frustrating on ps4. The load times is also so much more bearable after the horrible ps4 load times.

I got a few ps5 games such as miles morales and dirt 5 but I will be more then happy playing updates or just better experience ps4 games for awhile until something good comes out for ps5. I got call of duty as a pack in with my ps5 but that's been uninstalled as it's still buggy. Same with the new assassins creed. I have no desire to ruin the experience by playing a buggy unmatched game

It's pretty crazy how much of a boost the PS5 provides.
E.g. I remember playing this random indie game called Brain in Retro Space. On PS4, the bugger chugged in 20fps. On PS5, I got locked 60fps.

I din't know some games on the list. But Sekiro is a must play game on PS5 now, runs smoothly. GOT and Days gone, which is underrated game IMO are definitely worth it as well

You can get 4k and 60fps in God of War if you have the disk version. Just only have the 1.0 version of the game.

FPS in singleplayer is not that critical honestly, it's when multiplayer is affected where it becomes a cause for concern

Load times are basically cut in half by what they were on the ps4.
Just played through ffxv and all episodes on ps5, shame that even on lite mode the fps jumps loads on battles... very badly optimized game. So yeah, no 60fps lock all the time.

the problem with AC UNITY i found is once the framerate is OVER 30fps the cloth physics are almost non existent, it looks trashy, i had to use my Nvidia on pc to limit it to 30fps just to have everything work right, you can even see it in your comparison, sadly it seems the game was limited to 30fps for full quality... i wish there was a way to unlock the framerate on the cloth physics for PC
I mean, if you don't care for 60fps you can just play the game with the patch instead and have a locked 30fps. At least then you won't have to deal with the game glitches and bugs.

Here's the thing to remember. If you're going to play it unpatched with 60fps just know since it's unpatched it will have the bugs and glitches that were apparent on day one. But if you do download the, most bug and glitches will be fixed but you'll be playing at a locked 30fps. Even though it is 30fps with the patch it is a locked 30fps. So either way you have a good time. Enjoy!👍

Wow the PS5 graphics are going blow me away when it gets here, as I'm still playing on my PS4. I didn't want to get the Pro out of protest that there shouldn't be a halfway console like Apple does with its feckin phones.
Yeah, I felt like the pro didn't really add much. I think they only released it because of the VR thing. The stock ps4 was having trouble running the VR headset.

@@SuperJumpReviews 4K on console was huge in 2016. Especially on big open worlds. Games like zero dawn, Spider-Man and even Apex legends looks night and day on the pro. I think it has to do with far less pop ins so you can actually see the map entirely from afar and the frame rate increases are almost doubled making the worlds feel alive.

Another game is Nier: Automata. It runs in a consistent 60fps, compared to ps4 pro run which runs in 45-60fps.
If only they had bumped the resolution to 4K it would be PERFECT!

Borderlands 3 is my favorite optimized game on ps5, it can run up to 120fps if your monitor can handle it, but default is a solid 4k 60fps, with adaptive control. R2 button is like a gun trigger and changes depending on what gun you use. however its still BL3, i mean gameplay is the best among the other BL games, but story is the weak point of this game
oh wow, they really went all out with the next gen upgrade for that game. The only borderlands I've ever played was the second.
