The fact that this song made such an impression on Bruce Springsteen and others like me , validates Doubleshot as the 60's greatest FRAT Rock song !! I love the Drum Roll around the Tom Tom's to start the song off. just Superb. I also LOVE the old concert ticket shown here in the Video ! $8 !
Even then, he talked too much. This masterpiece stands on its own with the garage, frat boy manic energy brought to it by its first cover by The Swinging Medallions. A shame, because Springsteen had the goods; he should have taken on the song as is and run with it.
Very proud to be from the same hometown as the Swingin’ Medallions
My favorite Carolina Beach song and my favorite band all combined into one incredible mash-up.

Cool
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
They're no Snotty Scotty and the Hankies let me tell you.
Never played this song he says...it sounds like it! He ought to be arrested for murdering a song. Vocals are killer too!
Sorry boss ...not even close to the Swingin' Medalions. But that's OK. They were the best.
Bruce has trouble with covers. On his covers album his selection leaves much to desire. A little practice would help.
Poor imitation of the original.
this is awful
So don’t listen to it…..

You needed to be there to appreciate it. Unfortunately I was not
@@stevensanchez8453 “ being there” is, of course, a different experience. Regardless the video did no one proud.
