@@liamgreen5548 the fact you are basing a ranking on their artistry and musical skills, according to his tastes on streams is kinda pitiful. You can make a point by sharing a performance or song of theirs to people that might not be as exposed to their discography, but digital numbers to defend your faves is somewhat pathetic tbh. Let their music speak. People listen to songs, not the number of streams, said songs have.
I've only gotten into TXT recently. And delving into their works, I can tell that their discography is BULLETPROOF! No joke. Looking forward to more from them.
TXT is one of those groups where the more you delve into their discography, the more you realize how complex, meticulous and well thought out their releases are. There’s always something more than the surface level song. Also they might have the best instrumentals I’ve ever heard in kpop. (saying this with my chest)
I listened to them from the frist day on and at first I thought that their nusic is not my cup of tea. But then I started to get warm with it. TXT has often a dreamy Sound or just a Sound thats not heavy. With "Heavy" I mean.. that in Kpop you can listen to songs for a short period of time and then you realize there is to much going on and somehow they are just to much for my ears/brain. With txt it is totally different and I started to pay attention to their production and then I realized how great! their Production is and how different their Sound is. And now I love that about them. I even love their older songs!
@@YoonglesHolly yes i’ve noticed this as well. I was in the same boat, thinking that their music was not for me until one day it just wasn’t the case anymore. There’s no denying that the production quality of their songs is phenomenal. People often discredit them because many names appear on their tracks, having been a part of the creation but that just leads to amazing tracks that age well with time. I’d argue that the longer their discography grows, the more appreciation i have for all their tracks especially their older ones. You can visibly and audibly hear the growth in their musical sound. If i could give an award to one album in particular it would have to be The Dream Chapter Eternity. Every song in that album stands out so much that it’s surprising how cohesive the album sounds overall. I could go on and on about their music but i would be here all day. I just really appreciate them as artists and that’s alot coming from a casual listener of kpop.
TXT has the best songs and I don’t even stan them. I’m mostly into kpop for the variety shows and dancing, but I gotta say TXT has some of my favorite songs and that’s before I even knew the lyrics
ateez are one of those groups that are well known for their performances but once you get to know them you gradually discover a (surprisingly) diverse discography, their family-like chemistry off stage, and the underlying passion and drive that bleeds into their on stage presence like what more could you want
@@holo6933 I don’t hate them, that would be weird, but it was a disappointing move from BigHit. It’s like they got big and decided to go the predictable safe pretty boy direction. Instead of recruiting for talent, because they maybe couldn’t pull the most “desirable” trainees in the beginning, they levered their success to do what everyone is doing. They were never going to replicate BTS, but it would have been nice to see a group with more diversity.
@@JessieBanana yes, they are pretty boys but there is so much more to them than just visuals. They are talented and most importantly they are honest people that don’t put on acts like other idols nowadays. They are just a bunch of normal dudes that love performing and are great at it. I never have to force myself to like their music like other fandoms do. Bighit chased after them. Not other trainees. bighit could have easily picked other trainees. Even if they weren’t that well off, there are literally so many trainees that they could’ve chosen from. So many trainees compete to win just one spot. Yet, txt proved their talent and trained so hard to debut. I understand that they might be disappointing to you but to many people they are perfectly imperfect and we appreciate them for who they are. Also, visuals will always be important in kpop, even if we hate it. And if you want a group to only be about “talent” or a preconceived notion of what you think is talent, then I think you are looking in the wrong place. Also TXT has NEVER followed what other groups are doing. From the beginning they started with a concept that contradicted what all other boy groups were doing. And they have continued to break away from the typical kpop norms. They have create their own distinct voice in the industry without fitting into a stereotype or certain sound like other groups. No one will ever replicate bts. EVER. BTS are BTS. TXT are TXT. TXT were never meant to live up in to bts or be better than them. They were just meant to be their own group. Just like all other groups that debut. It’s time to leave bts out of txt discussions.
@@JessieBanana so because they’re pretty boys, they’re disappointing?? would you rather them be ugly? their looks have nothing to do with their talent, which they have a LOT of. their vocals and dance are some of my favorite in the 4th gen, not to mention their music and brand are so heartwarming and fun. and what do you mean with that BTS comment? are you saying they’re not attractive? and what about BTS is diverse? yes, they all look different, but they’re all 100% Korean. at least TXT has a mixed member, but honestly diversity shouldn’t matter when it comes to music. and TXT ARENT doing what everyone else is doing, because they get lots of hate for having music different than everyone else’s (ppl made fun of their “emo” music after making fun of their “childish” and “fruity” music).
@@lxlxxl6217 Not going to lie, I didn’t read the entirety of your very long response. It’s not necessarily an issue that they’re pretty. It’s more about prioritizing looks over talent. If you think that the best possible people were put together and that they coincidentally are all super attractive and look exactly the same, your in denial. From snippets I’ve heard I don’t think their music is really my taste anyway, but I was put off from the get go by the decision BigHit made to be like every other big idol company.
i think txt should be given a little bit more credit. i remember i used to hate kpop with a passion, a lot of my friends (i went to an all girls school) tried to get me into it for more then a year, but then i remember one of my friends recommended me a song by txt, blue hour. it was around late 2020 and i think i initially got interested in the music video because she accidentally played a bit in class and i asked her what song it was, and when she told me it was kpop i seemed very hesitant but i can’t say no to good music. so i listened and watched the music video while i walked home and that was my favourite song for awhile.
@@dgls127 i dont think that person was saying they are underrated lol.. ateez are always being dragged for no reason so it's kind of shocking sometimes when people praise them and don't put them down. i ult ateez and the amount of people i've seen talk sh about ateez is crazyyyy.
the way Going Crazy, My Treasure and Darari represent Treasure’s identity as a group + almost all their bsides (besides VolKno) are like that .. I’m sorry but it’s just sad to see how after two years non fans won’t still even give a chance to their music. I don’t care about the ranking, I understand that their discography may not be for everyone but this opinion is a stereotype :\\ yes Boy and I love you are edm, MMM and Jikjin are darker songs .. but what about the rest of their discography? Call them mediocre, not your cup of tea but that’s their true identity. My Treasure showed their healing side as a group, Going crazy showed their fun side on stage and Darari emphasized their unique vocal colors and ability to participate in their own music too edit: and I apologize if I was way too direct, it just makes me sad to see this stereotype going on ;u;
txt will always have a special place in my heart. i was an army in 2015 and thought they were my ult until txt came. i love everything about them, their discography, concepts, mvs, outfits, content, humor and personality, fan interaction, merch, chemistry with each other, it’s just too perfect to me and i’m rlly attached. i don’t think i’ll ever like a boy group as much as txt, im so in love with them it’s so fun to collect them and watch their content and keep up with their weverse uploads. i also like enha, and my top ggs are le sserafim, rv, stayc and ive. possible new jeans. ppl say they prefer 3rd gen, but as someone who was there when it started and ended, i think i’d choose 4th bc of the concepts and i relate more to the groups bc im closer to their ages. the music is diff, but the groups i stan make music that’s bearable to listen to
SKZ is number one for me always and I genuinely don't get the 'quality over quantity' argument for SKZ. They had 2 cbs this year and only one (1) last year (not counting christmas evel). If we count only official korean releases this year, it only amounts to 15 songs (+ Time out which was released for the fans). Comparing to any average kpop group SKZ don't stand out as a group who comes back more frequently than others. Not liking their recent stuff is understandable, but from a fan's perspective, a group has to release music to keep their fans interested
Txt is my number 1 kpop group ever, at first I was very skeptical at first but the more you listen to the albums and the more you understand the storyline you literally can't not love them
In relation to Treasure, majority of their b-sides are the "soft" type of songs you were talking about, so their image and sound is different to common perception in regards to their more polarising title tracks. Beautiful, My Treasure and Hello are some title tracks that are different from the generalisation that Treasure's "image" is more hard hitting. B-sides like Come to Me, B.L.T, Be with Me, Slowmotion etc etc are example of b-sides. For me and a lot of Teumes, Treasure isn't just the music. It's what they symbolise as a healing group, as youth and energy, as fresh spring. Certain songs, their variety shows, journey, vocal and dance styles reflect this notion. When Treasure sing a sad song, they evoke something in me. When I see them in interviews, they make me warm and fuzzy. I guess you can feel Treasure's sincerity and charms oozing from the screen in their performances and shows that showcase their personalities which add a lot to the whole listening experience. Treasure gives you a fun time with their music, but at the same time, songs like Slowmotion, Orange, It's ok, Hold it in etc have a certain depth to them - a sense of genuine that few groups have. Other groups I can think of that have this quality is Stray Kids and Twice. I'm not sure if I expressed my point coherently with how I perceive the group and as a result them sonically but yeah, I totally understand your point with Treasure being a hit or miss group. It's just that they are very versatile with their sound so I don't think you give them justice - that's specifically why you probably find their songs hit-or-miss. There's a song for everyone in Treasure's discography. I mean their recent album had reggae, hard metal and rock as part of their genres. Something that is hard to find in k-pop, which can give you an indicator of their versatility.
Some KPOP fans don't appreciate a group's versatility. They'd rather stick to one type of music and that's it. Treasure is very underrated but truly one of the most complete boy group. I wish them longevity not only in KPOP but in the music industry itself that is slowly dying due to fans' fixation on visuals, sales, charts and choreography and not the quality of songs.
Finally a fellow teume on RUclips who can type more than just “cute” and “let’s do well for our boys”. I realise how terrible that sounds 😅 but I’m glad to see them truly appreciated
Its exactly what ive been telling non stans. They associated treasure with edm just coz of their TT. The fact that treasure’s music are so versatile , mosf people refuse to check them out. Their main theme are still teen crush, the feeling of having 1st love. Thats what they represent for now.
SKZ take #1 for me. They are the only group who's discography I love to the point where I don't skip a single song. I loved their last album and definitely think they've been outdoing themselves every comeback which is rare with other boy groups for me.
They're the only group and artist I who I have more than 50 songs of on my playlist. Im so glad I found them. Their music is just perfect for me lol. Diverse, unique, chaotic, loud, noisy, all over the place
Honestly skz is the only group i can trust because i know they produce their own songs and even when concept and style changes happen somehow it always ends up working with them and i love how they are not afraid to try out new things, i can't say the same about other groups though because most companies try to keep up with trends which is risky and it tends to get boring real fast
I love stary kids! Try to listen to ATEEZ and TXT .. especially ateez, they produce their music too and write every . single . song on their albums. Highly recommend, their discography is amazing! And TXT has such a fresh sound that i really love and enjoy listening to their B-Sides as well 💓 just recommending really ^^

Ateez is #1 for me. They’re one of the only groups where i can 100% say that they improve with each comeback meaning (at least for me) every comeback is better than the last. not to mention every single one of their songs is cohesive with one another. they have a pretty unique and fleshed out sound to their music so when u listen to them you immediately go “yup this is ateez”. it’s crazy to me how you can make songs like deja vu and guerrilla which are so different from each other and still be recognizable as completely “ateez”. ateez is just a group that never disappoints.

I thought you disliked TXT so I’m pleasantly surprised, thank you for appreciating them, they are really genuine people and once you get to know their real personality you will understand that they are as sincere as it can get, both to fans and their artistry
The boyz are so underrated amongst international fans its actually crazy??? like intl fans would never believe that tbz are the most popular 4th gen boy group alongside txt in korea, tbz consistently rank top 10 in brand rankings for ALL boygroups and had the most music show wins of 4th gen bgs until recently, they chart really well on melon which is hard for 4th gen bgs and are well known in korea by now yet international fans think they're nugus which is sooo weird?? usually its the opposite with most 4th gen bgs being famous outside korea but kinda unknown in korea unless ur already a kpop fan LOL
THANK YOU, im so sick of ifans disregarding tbz fcking everywhere when they r top three in rankings that do matter, really gotta appreciate kdeobi for being the backbone of our fandom
Txt is the only group that I have actually loved or at least liked all comeback songs and most of the b-sides. Like some of the b-sides are genuinely unique and lovely. I feel comfortable looking forward to their next comeback because I have never been let down. Some 4th gen groups have random strong comebacks but they have trouble maintaining stable music quality over multiple comebacks.
I think they should give more credit to TXT, in my case, they were the group that made me start listening to kpop with their song 0x1=lovesong, they are a group where everyone can easily be a main dancer, vocalist and rapper, they have also been training for years, Taehyun and Yeonjun were the only two trainees that Big Hit sent to the USA to practice just one year after sending only Jungkook, all the boys are still very talented and very good people, their discography is beautiful and although they don't have the creative freedom they would like , they get involved as much as they can in the lyrics and production of their songs, there is also a lot of effort put into all their albums and concepts, that since 2015 everything about the group has been planned
TXT is just IT for me. I still cant comprehent how much i love all about this group. Turned me from a casual listener to kpop since 2014 into a stan. I dont have to add more i guess. My next fav definetly Xdinary Heroes, but they are a band so im gonna exclude them for now. After that Oneus hits me hard. Especially their title tracks. And holy moaly..Come Back Home...one of my fav Kpop songs of all times. But there are so many amazing groups. I love it here.
Just passing by greeting my fellow villain here. They are my 2nd ult too, slowly become my 1st because of their immaculate music. Can't wait for 4 nov to come.

P1Harmony have an excellent discography... one of the few groups that i actually add 80% of their releases to my playlist... also piwon literally JUST turned 2, like days ago... they are doing amazing especially being from a non big4 group
They are one of my favorite boy groups too, I feel like they have such a strong visual and musical identity, I always love what FNC does with them. Anyways, to each their own! We all have different opinions, it’s okay.
I just saw TXT live a few days ago and it honestly cemented their place for my #1 4th gen bg. 26 songs, 3.5 hrs of pure perfection, it was an experience I'll never forget.
MY OPININION 1. TXT (they are the group for me) 2.Stray kids(I love their creativity and discography) 3.ATEEZ (The group which has all the good music) 4.The Boyz(I love their songs + performance) 5.ONEUS (They have amazing music) 6.CIX 7.MCND 8.ENHYPEN 9.P1HARMONY/TREASURE
Stray Kids are #1 for me. They are what got me into kpop and I still haven't found what I found in them in any other bg tbh. Their discography is full of gems and I feel like they come up with fresh sounds in each cb. I'm always on the edge of my seat, waiting on what they'll do next and I'm never disappointed. They are the only group that I have their full discography on my playlists. Slight disagree on the "they comeback so often" they only had 1 cb and a special release last year and only 2 kr cbs this year so yeah, they don't really cb as often. Because of special releases, skz players/records, it might seem like they put out too much but I take that as one of the perks of stanning a self-produced group, I never run out of content to consume and I personally love it.
same hereee.. I don't consider myself a stay yet but I really really love their music and enjoy their videos.. While watching I was like, "broo, stray kids is first"😭🧡
Same here, im only into kpop bc of Stray Kids and yes, i havent seen in other groups the talent and passion ive seen in Stray Kids that’s why im a solid Stay for almost 3 years now. Statistically speaking, Stray Kids are number 1. They have the numbers to back it up.
Agree. I love music and it's the groups' musics that will get my attention first before even dwelling into the group themselves. For Skz they are literally sooo passionate about the music they put out. Especially being a self-producing group that isn't afraid of experimenting, I love them for it!!!
I know this is old but I want to comment because YES. I haven’t been able to find in any other bg what I’ve found in Stray Kids. I’ve started looking at other bgs but it’s hard 😅
The Boyz deserve more globally attention, i stan all of the group but for me tbz is the only group that gave me everything (the quality) especially. for those who didn’t stanning them yet, you should hurry bcoz the next comeback (probably in november) is gonna be the best moment for you guys bcoz theyre coming back with the full member (ot11) with the lovely maknae Eric. Omg i am so excited seeing eric again with the members🥺
Same here. I'm an EXO-L and was looking for another bg to ult and TBZ just got me hooked. I followed Haknyeon after PD101 and was not disappointed. Very happy that they are finally rising internationally.
As a tbz and txt ult i was happy to see both my favs make the top 5. For me, txt has THE BEST discography in all of kpop along with all of the members being eye catching and memorable like you mentioned. For The Boyz, I’ve been following them since debut and i’m so happy to see after rtk and kingdom they’re finally getting more recognition. I hope they can gain more global attention as they have domestically!! Although i can’t pick from those 2…
p1harmony is actually gonna turn 2. overall p1harmony is so charismatic and hell sooo talented. they def jumped to my no.1 within a few months and that rarely happens to me. last group i could stan like this was NCT
fr, i really dont get the hate for them rn?? they have so many no skip albums for me. its funny how they'll hate on piwon but love groups like itzy and enhypen.
THE BOYZ are my fav kpop group ever since their debut in December 2017, I’m just lucky to stan and know these boys they are so talented and can do any concept with their incredible ideas and talents, they are the most famous 4th bg in korea rn , tbz deserve the best 💗
treasure , CIX , MCND deserves more recognition both gobally & domestic . for treasure, yg should at least give them about 2-3 comebacks per year so they don't loose the hype. TREASURE comebacks are versatile & they slay all each era !!!
Bro I swear YG has gotten so bad at managing groups comeback now. I get it they are not trying to overwork their artists by making a packed schedule and a packed year but I still believe if ppl got to know TREASURE more they would love them more than anything. TREASURE climbed my bias list in just 4 moths of Stanning. Now its been a year so im fully devoted to them lmao

about your enhypen opinion, I agree. bite me definitely gave them a redemption for me after the masterpiece that was drunk-dazed, drunk-dazed still has yet to be topped (and may never be) but bite me does come close and it's now my 2nd fav title track from them.
If people could give TREASURE a try to listen to their albums especially "THE SECOND STEP" album series then I bet people would be surprise with how good their songs are, the members also took a lot of part in producing the album (the second step: chapter two). Even my bf who casually listens to a lot of kpop songs was surprised that TREASURE have a lot of good songs.
I personally love groups who go hard on the raps, which is why SKZ is my favorite by far. I got into them during My Pace, but my favorite album is actually Oddinary.
Ateez really has everything ppl would want in a kpop group! Great vocals? they have it! Amazing raps?? that have that as well!! Out-of-this-world performances?? they won't rest until they give their all on stage. Ateez is just THAT group for me I'm fully content with stanning them, they don't need to be the biggest bg ever or have 100 billion views on their mvs all I hope for is for ppl to open their eyes and appreciate them
Ateez is my #1 too. I love everything about them. Jongho’s voice is what grabbed my attention then I realized I really enjoyed the music and while Jongho is amazing they are a true team of 8.
Thank you for finally giving The Boyz appreciation. They never get any recognition yet are one of the most talented groups in the industry, with amazing vocals, performance, rap, music quality and fun and loveable members.
My ranking of these groups would be: 1. Oneus (they're THAT group for me) 2. Ateez (Stan them, love them) 3. CIX (i have almost all of their songs saved) 4. Stray Kids (love some of their songs) 5. MCND (really like some of their songs) 6. Enhypen (love their first three albums) 7. The Boyz (like some of their songs) 8. TXT (like a few of their songs) 9. Treasure (I like Going crazy) 10. tbh TREASURE is highly underappreciated they have variety at the same time they have consistency in concept and for a group, with 12 members they are very coherent with vocals rap and dance and they don't have only one member that is the fotg and good in something all members are all-rounders as well
I'm not going to comment on the video since this is your opinion, and I can respect that. the only thing I want to point out is the stray kids "quantity" over "quality" thing. I know a lot of people probably think this because they produce all their songs and over the 4 years they have been a group they have 100+ songs in their discography. But over that time (and possibly predebut too) 3Racha has made hundreds of unreleased songs. Some of the songs on their past few comebacks were created 2-3 years ago but were chosen for specific albums. And you can see it by watching when they produce, there have been times that the song was spoiled 2 years In advance. They get inspiration from the most random things, i.e. ttath was created after eating tacos when they were in the U.S. And if they get inspo from watching dramas, from fans concerns, or even things people say about them, of course they would have hundreds of songs to release (solo or not). that doesn't mean they want Quantity over quality, it means they get inspired easily and are able to make songs as artist do and they are good at it too. It doesn't help that they are passionate about making music and being artist who create music that allow them to share the messages they want with the world. Bang Chan, doesn't sleep and is always working - composing, arranging, and constantly having to work with staff to prepare comebacks and stuff because he wants to be hands on with the process, not to mention being able to producing songs in a single vlive. Han watchs dramas and writes based off of that and things he would do in those situations (which hard to do if you've never experienced what you're writing about) and also writing about his experiences and concerns in life (alien, 19, etc.) while Changbin is a perfectionist who is really serious about their music and making the song the be perfect. Any songs they have produced are quality songs or they wouldn't be seeing the light of day ( changbin would make sure of it). Saying they want "quantity" over "quality" isnt the right way to describe stray kids and their discography. Especially if you're not aware of their producing process. God's menu wasn't even supposed to be the title track but they chose to change it shortly before the album was coming out and because they believed it would be better than the original song that was to be the TT (and it became their biggest hit and was what helped them gain the popularity they have now). Btw I'm not trying to hate or anything, it's your opinion so you should be allowed to share, even if somebody disagrees. We should be able to have civil conversations even if we don't agree with each other. So I'm sorry that people were saying disgusting things and I hope this doesn't come off as rude because that wasn't the intention, I purely wanted to state my piece. I just wanted to give a little more info to anyone who might not listen to SKZ and doesn't listen to their discography or keep up with them. (Please, let me know if this comes off rude, I have a tendency to not realize I was rude or mean to people with my wording 😔 /gen)
People always say that SKZ songs sound the same and when they try new sounds or genres yall say they just want more songs on the album instead of realizing SKZ has the creative freedom to produce anything and everything they want, so why wouldn't they ?? Skz know what they are doing when it comes to producing quality music. If you don't like their music or a song, doesn't mean it's bad quality or a bad song 😭 it's just your preference. But to say that stray kids want to have quantity over quality is really crazy, Because it's just not true.
Yeah it’s understandable if skz music aren’t peoples taste, since skz pride themselves on having experimental music and they are proud of their noisy title. What you said about the quantity over quality thing is well said and respectfully put!
@@silentcryisbetterthanyou2650 I don’t think all songs sound the same. I am starting to find a repetiveness in the vocal parts that feel the same. I I really want them to go more outside the box with the vocals.
@@kimdaniel2601 I personally don't hear it, so I was wondering if you could give an example. Because I'm not sure if I'm thinking the same as you are and I want To completely understand your point. Also, I listened to manic and case 143 back to back because those are the songs that many people have said sound the same but I just don't hear it. Maybe they mean the way the pre-chorus into the chorus that is the same or idk, if you possibly give me an example I could understand better. Though I do agree that they should be more experimental with their vocals especially their vocal line. I feel they don't utilize them to their fullest potential especially in title tracks. They seem to disregard their vocals to keep that Stray Kids sound in their titles. So I could see how it could be repetitive. Skz have good vocalist I wish they just showcased it better and had a chance to shine like the rappers do in their title tracks. (Btw I hope I don't come off rude, I'm trying to make sure I don't offend anyone but I'm not sure if my tone comes off right)
@@silentcryisbetterthanyou2650 so I don’t think Maniac and Case 143 are the issue-although I think the use of Felix again in the chorus is predictable (and I love Felix-he is my favorite) but please don’t have him always singing the hook in the chorus. There are two songs (Circus and another I can’t think of right now) where while the rhythm isn’t the same-the harmony and chord progressions are similar enough that it didn’t feel all that fresh. Sometimes when I hear the vocal arrangement I get a “Oh it’s these chords again” feeling. Sometimes it doesn’t bother me because the rest of the song makes me happy but sometimes I grow bored and start to skip it. I am most drawn to a song by its vocals-the harmony, vocal runs, interesting chords, Melodie’s or key changes. But to be clear I do not think they have bad vocalists. I do not think the songs are bad. I do think they need to move outside their comfort zone vocally and do more with their vocalists. I think this is a production problem. I think 3racha are amazing, talented producers but I think writing interesting and fresh vocal lines is becoming a weakness-and there may be reasons they aren’t moving outside the box with the vocals we aren’t aware of but I keep waiting for them to do more with the vocals and I’m mostly left unsatisfied or sometimes kind of bored.
As a Deobi who ults The Boyz, I'm really happy to see more people notice them and compliment their efforts. The Boyz are definitely a special group of all-rounders and have incredible discography; but also their personalities are so great that their side content is entertaining. I'm also really glad that Eric and Sunwoo are back with the family. Having Eric on hiatus for ten months was so difficult since he's our battery and the fanclub president. We're so thankful he's back and feeling better. On the flip side, Treasure is usually a miss for people it seems but I really like them personally. Sometimes it takes a few listens to get used to YG's experimental sound and several groups from YG are definitely hit-or-miss for me when it comes to their music, but Treasure holds a special place in my heart since I was a supporter from their YG Treasure Box days. Not to mention I grew attached after watching their T-Map series because they are hilarious to watch and I think they are incredibly talented. While their music provided by YG's producers may be unique, their talents really shine on other content like their covers, self-produced tracks, and softer b-sides. I actually prefer their "softer" sound.
This year I've somehow been very lucky to be able to go to an ATEEZ and an MCND concert only a few months apart and they definitely are the highlight of my 2022. ATEEZ is my ult group and I've followed MCND casually since their pre-debut releases and both groups excel on stage, their energy is unbelievable.
Hearing praises for tbz are like music to my ears 🥰 Honestly it's so hard to even hear people talking about them despite them being so popular in sk. They're always excluded in 4th gen ranking vids in general 😭. I love them as individuals and their musics with my whole heart
I woudnt say The Boyz are underrated but often times i see them being forgotten in many discussions about the competition among 4th gen idols so it feels good as a deobi to see them in this vid and ranking higher. They totally are so talented and have so much pontential. Dont let the large number intimidate you.
for me txt is number 1 they're the only 4th gen boy group to wow me enough to stan i just haven't found another boy group that i want to delve further into bc the songs i hear are never above 10/10 and i only delve further into groups who have above 10/10 songs and so far the only 4th groups that fit that description for me are txt and a bunch of girl groups i know they don't count as a group but xdinary heroes are the only other male artist i've been considering stanning my lil bro reccomended all their songs i wouldn't put them above 10/10 but all of their songs are 10/10 so far which is why i'm considering it
I really hate the fact that most people label treasure's music as just Noise music when literally only 4 music from ALL of their discography are "noise" music (which they aren't most of those are edm and dance pop)
If you actually listen to Treasure’s albums, I would say only their title tracks are crazy upbeat but the rest of the album are usually chill and soft. Their recent comeback Hello is such a cute bop!! 😌💙
People do have different taste. I decided to stan P1Harmony because of their music (not to mention their strong vocals and raps, also because they produce their own songs with all meaningful lyrics). They being funny and trendy is a bonus. Despite their two-years career in the industry, P1Harmony has quickly topped the list of my favorite 4th Gen groups. And I know over time they will get even better! ➕❤️
Currently my favorite 4 th gen group is probably Kingdom! :D I have loved every single song of theirs so far and my love for them keeps increasing each time I watch one of their performances or anything really! My ults for the longest time have been SKZ, Ateez and Oneus - all which are special as always. But certain other groups have really caught my attention in recent times. Golcha, Verivery, ONF, MCND, Ghost9, Blitzers - have all come into my radar since last year and are very strong groups for me! And this year I would say P1Harmony, Treasure and Cravity join the list! I have never really been into P1Harmony or Treasure but their comebacks this year are really good and Hello may easily be in my top 10 fave songs of this year! And Cravity I've loved since Veni Vedi Vici - but this year with two back to back bright songs in their comebacks I've really got into them more too! :)
My rank: 1. SKZ (the only artist off all times I have listened to the whole discography) 2. ATEEZ (they impressed me during kingdom, so I checked and liked many of their songs, mostly title tracks) 3. Enhypen (I know just a few songs, but I like them) 4. Oneus (similar to Enhypen, but Enha songs I like slightly more) 5. everyone else. I either dislike more songs than I like or I haven't heard more than 1-2 songs to judge my feeling about the group. to be honest, SKZ is the only group I really follow. For the rest I sometimes check out youtube recommendations or reactions of my favourite youtube reactors. extremely rarely I go through the whole album after liking the title track.
My ranking because this is fun: 1) Stray Kids - they are the group that's "it" for me. My reasons are: the diversity of their discography, its overall increase in quality as they improve their songwriting and production skills (I actually have saved more of their bsides since 2021 than I did before but obvi that's just me--Oddinary was mid I agree but Maxident is my favorite skz mini of all time and Noeasy is my favorite overall skz album), their distinct musical style (a lot of bg music sounds similar to me, but you can always recognize a 3racha/stray kids song, I think having their own producing team helps with that), their strong brand and creative control over themselves, their stage presence/charisma. Their music isn't for everyone but to me they are the most exciting and magnetic 4th gen boy group right now. 2) MCND - the absolute MASTERS of performance, especially live performance, and a stellar discography. Everyone truly needs to get on their level, even skz 3) CIX - similarities to MCND: an almost no-skip discography, some of the best songs in 4th gen boy group music, only 5 members which is the ideal group number imo, every member is a great dancer, killer choreography, charismatic and likable members. also a unique concept. they just don't flop. ever. 4) Ateez - a very distinct sound, like skz. solid discography, some of the best performers in kpop. I thought their most recent album in particular was incredible and sort of catapulted me into stanning them. One reason they rank lower than Skz for me on this list because imo there is less diversity to be found in their discography overall. 5) The Boyz - I'm not a huge fan of their bsides, but they have great titles, plus all of the members are pretty and have great styling (is that shallow? oh well, this is kpop). I tend not to get that invested in groups with that many members except in very rare cases (like watching Produce 101 Season 2 *hides*), so the number of members is a deterrent for me. I think 5 is the ideal group number as I said before, and I think we start getting into diminishing returns after 8. But that's just a personal thing. I don't have much to say about TBZ really, but they're aight, so I'll put them at 5. 6) Oneus - I don't know much about Oneus at all tbh, except for the main guy, and I have a couple songs saved. I would feel guilty putting them any lower just because I don't know them, but had to rank the others higher. Sorry Oneus! 7) Enhypen - I used to semi-ult them before Future Perfect. (I let Blessed-Cursed slide.) It wasn't just the title track. I could have lived if that were all. I also hated all the bsides on that album, except for two, which I merely dislike. Mostly, I hate the musical direction they're going in, with more and more heavy vocal filters. Their most recent pre-release single for their upcoming Japanese album made me text my friend and say, "If Enhypen releases one more song with robot voices I might have to unstan." I was being purposefully dramatic, but honestly the sitch is dire y'all. Prior to 2022, Enhypen had one of the best discographies in kpop. They need to get back on track so they can reach that amazing potential!! 8) TXT - I would like TXT more if they hadn't strayed into their current pop-punk concept (I thought Good Boy Gone Bad was horrible and didn't like the bsides either). But frankly, the main reason I ranked them low is not their music. They have a few really good songs. It's because I don't connect with the members. I tried pretty hard to get into this group actually. But I don't think they're that charismatic compared to other boy group members. I think Soobin and Taehyun are the only ones whose general charisma and likability pique my interest, and tbh Yeonjun is the only one that really has good stage presence imo. 9) Treasure - Hello was good but listen....in the interest of not being mean, I'm just gonna say that I strongly dislike Boy and Jikjin. To the point of no return. Especially Boy. Similar to what Juice said about Enhypen, those two songs are the eternal stain on Treasure's discography for me. 10) P1Harmony - I only like Do It Like This, and I think I can only listen to that song maybe twice a year lol. Thanks for your great content!
The thing that puts ateez to the top for me is their blatant artistry as performers on the stage. No offense but kpop groups heavily rely on the production which was done by professionals from their agency. So seeing all members of ateez bring live to the stage really keep my interest in kpop. I have very sensitive ears so I will know the second groups use autotune and editing in their live stages. I'm not saying ateez didn't do it but compared to the other groups, they did it way less and that makes me connect with them personally as artists bc I can feel them conveying their emotion freely.
My ranking ~ 1.Ateez (amazing discography like litterly no skips, their performances are amazing to watch, they have a really good Chemistry in the group. Lovely and talented members + Best storyline ever and they includ it litterly everywhere . This was the group made for me). 2)TxT (the members are so funny and you get attached to them very quickly. Really Nice discography with really few skips and Incredible storyline too. I Like how unique their music are) 3. Enhypen ( recently they've realesed only bops on bops. The vampire storyline is soo Nice. Please I want a full version of Foreshadow and They have amazing live vocals too ) 4.SKZ (They were my ult at first but I kind of lost interest. Their last comebacks didn't really stood out to me. I agree with you I'd rather have quality than quantity. But they still have some really Nice besides. And appart from that the group is really funny and full of energy.) 5. Oneus (Their songs are so great I don't stan but their last comebacks have been on repeat and their mv are so pretty to watch. )
absolutely agree on txt, even if their discography isn't for everyone you can't deny how well-curated they are as a group. each of them fulfill a very specific role and the five of them together just create synergy like no other. it's already a given for idols to be amazing performers but i think this strong individual brand AND good group dynamic is something unique to txt
As a fan of treasure since their YG treasure box era, i think their debut image until jikjin is mostly the image that the company has chosen for them. and i dont like it.. if im not already a fan i would not even bother to check them out. But in their current album they started to show their own color. it is not mature yet, but their "steps" sure is going stronger. i remember from one of their daily video in their yt channel that yedam and mashiho said they want their career to going slowly climbing up, not blow up overnight . btw im a VIP, since treasure too can produce their own music and also are talented from the get go... i hope they can get to their senior level of artists one day. To be the artist that has their own color.
When you have 12 members, you will have differing tastes in music. Besides, out of Bb, only GD was in charge of their music. So in a way, it's one member who chose that image for the rest of the members
@@alysa-hime aside from Treasure, other YG BG's have that kind of color that differ from each other since they only have 1 major producer. Just like what you said in BB, GD is their main producer who wrote and have that concept of their songs. Winner have Seungyoon and iKON have Hanbin before. Meanwhile in Treasure, they have like Asahi, Yedam, Hyunsuk and Yoshi that is more likely their main PD and these four have different aesthetic and color when it comes to music making. You can definitely see it on Treasure's bsides songs which most of the members are highly involved esp. on their latest cb.
Stray Kids having many comebacks? They had 3 comebacks in the last 2 years 😅 For me their Oddinary album from march this year is their best album ever and 2 songs from that album made to my top 10 songs of them of all time 😍 Charmer, Lonely St., Muddy water and Venom are all masterpieces and these are bsides. Also Red Lights and Domino from NOEASY 😍 Taste and Superboard from MAXIDENT 😍 Stray Kids have the best bsides I've heard in kpop and I listen to many groups 🥰
My ranking would be (for groups I really stan): 1. Ateez (since 2019, unmatched, no words to say) 2. TxT (only stan them since last year, know them since debut lol, regretting it so much not to stan them earlier...just can't explain what I feel when hearing their music) 3. Stray Kids (almost all songs are a hit (at least for me), don't have a single bad comeback song, only this comeback is the first I can't vibe as much as the others...except for Case 143, Taste and 3Racha) 4. Oneus (have to cry to almost all songs because they are soo good, improved their music quality over the years so much...and I think Same Scent really did something to me...) 5. Treasure (stan them since Jikjin bc it was a bop, however YG really need to do a better job in promoting them🥲, some of their bsides are not my cup of tea, lost a bit of interest in them but they totally got me back with Hello bc I can't even describe what I feel when hearing this song) 6. Enhypen (stan them since Iland but their music just wasn't for me except for Drunk-Dazed and very few bsides...but they got me back with Future perfect, really don't get why it's receiving so much hate, the whole album is a masterpiece tbh...still crying that Foreshadow isn't a full song, hope they continue like that in the future) Soo this were my unpopular opinions😄 (sorry for my broken english)
My rankings for these groups would be as follows: 1. Ateez (first group I've ever loved all their songs, like I could sit through a whole album and not skip once) 2. TXT (Love all their comebacks and most b-sides) 3. Stray kids (Loved them from 2017 but the last couple comebacks haven't been hitting the way they use to before , Maniac and Case 143 are quite similar in my eyes)) 4. Enhypen (loved most title tracks and alot of b-sides) 5. Treasure (liked a couple title tracks and b-sides but was never interested enough to continue) 6. MCND (only listened to ice age and crush 7. CIX (only listened to movie star and jungle) 8.P1harmony (have only liked 1 or 2 title tracks for a short period) 9. The Boyz (really tried getting into their music but didn't love any track) 10.Oneus (I've heard of them but never heard a song)
I kind of agree that Maniac and Case 143 (and to some degree Circus) all feel too similar (I feel like it’s in the vocals-not the quality of the singing but the Melody and chord progressions). I don’t love them as much as other TT and Maniac grew stale. However I loved Charmer and it is probably my favorite B side and maybe song overall. I also still have a lot of songs on my playlist from earlier albums.
for me it's 1. the boyz- i only got into them a few weeks ago and i am absolutely obsessed and very surprised they're not more popular. their name is horrendous tho 2. ateez- popular for a reason, love them. 3. txt- again, so popular for a reason and very easy to get into. 4. cix- know absolutely nothing about the memebers but i've yet to hear a song by them that i dislike. 5. enhypen- i really like the memebers, and i think the first half of their discography is amazing, but the second half is so so bad. 6. oneus- don't know much about the memebers and their recent controversy kinda made me disinterested but some of their music is just incredible. 7. p1harmony- love the members, just can't get into most of their music. 8.mcnd- know nothing about them but i heard like two songs by them and liked them. 9. treasure, stray kids- just incredibly uninterested in them and their music. this would be different if i only ranked them by how much i like them but alas
This ranking really made me realize we all have different music taste 😭 cause to me p1harmony songs have a no skip and I constantly listen to them all day. I never even noticed their marketing and always focused on their songs
Is it weird that I would have thought that Ateez was lower on your list? Like most of the ‘my opinion videos’ always put Ateez down. So now I was happily surprised by your video, so thank you! My Atiny heart is glowing with pride. Ateez Fighting!❤🔥
The way you said Skz have been coming back too often threw me off. They've actually slowed down their cbs. IFor the first three years, they would have a cb like every three months. And for the past 2 years, they've had three korean cbs
TXT is 1st, truly one of the few Korean artist in general, bringing real music and not making you feel bombarded by a common concept or making you feel lost what kind of group they are. Their music represent Gen Z
@@SaraRankins. personally, i don't feel the same with enhypen or straykids, their fans can be gen z just like they are themselves but their concept as a group or their music aren't genz like. when i say txt make music to represent gen z, it's literally their music that represents a foundation of growth as a person and relatable messages, meanings all these different emotion of different stages you go through in life which txt has been showing since their debute with their first concept being young teenagers with no worries in their life but then by each concept their friendship just keeps keeping going a different turn where they all feel lonely eventhough they have eachother and ofc this other universe which adds of to their whole story but yeah
@@SaraRankins. What I'm trying to say is that txt's discography is the best of any kpop boygroup, not just 4th generation groups, but all kpop boygroups in terms of diversity and discography in general.
Seeing everyone's ranking in the comments I feel like The Boyz might actually be the most underrated kpop group ever and it's not linked to the size of their fandom but the opinion kpop stans have about them. I actually prefer their b sides to their title tracks and I love their title tracks. Songs like Prism, insanity, Russian Roulette, salty, break your rules, penalty, scar, shake you down are some of my favorite kpop songs + every bsides of the last album and the list goes on and on.... I would say that their bsides are very interesting to me and The Boyz have their own sound that I love. But I wouldn't have expected otherwise knowing that kpop stans tend to rank The Boyz last in vocals, rap, mid for dance and visual.... I don't trust y'all.
at this point I don't take kpop stans opinions abt treasure music seriously cause they be only listening to three title tracks and then they would say trs discography it's pure noise or wtv when they have the most diversity discography among 4th gen bgs and the last two albums shows how they can be the best producers of their gen
For me it’s 1. Enhypen ( the songs are so good. I didn’t like pass the mic at first but now it’s a bop. It’s such a unique kpop song actually. Their songs are unique and each member was unique to me. Txt: their songs are rlly good. I just like Enhypen’s bsides more. I also like how each member has their own personality. Stray Kids: for me this group has so much energy and I love watching their videos bc they have a good aura. Their also extremely talented. However not all of their songs are my fav. But case 141 was grest
Enhypen is also number 1 for me... During my 10 years of kpop fan experience, I never found out such a group like Enha with amazing bside tracks , even intro outro are masterpieces. I am 25 but I am listening billy poco everyday.
Ok so here is my personal ranking except the groups I'm not at all familiar with musically (Cix, The Boyz, and Oneus): 7. Treasure - Not a very solid group in terms of discography for me. I loved Hello though. 6. P1Harmony - A group that's more known for their presence on TikTok than their music, which is fairly mid. 5. Enhypen - I swear their music used to be so good. We got Fever, Polaroid Love. FREAKING GIVEN-TAKEN, but the music now is just so bad. I swear Belift need to hire new producers to work on their songs. 4. Txt - They had two major musical peaks imo. The first was during their debut. The music was just so fun and was solid overall. The second one was during late 2020 through mid 2021. Their titles and bsides during this time were BEAUTIFUL and it's no surprise this is when they went viral. Aside from those peaks, their music has been just ok. Not bad, but not nearly as great as when they peaked. 3. MCND - Not a big fan of their music cuz of my personal taste BUT they're this high for a reason. I have them so high because of the way they execute their music on stage. MCND are some of the best performers in the 4th generation and it shows. No matter how good a group's music may be, if the stage presence isn't there I won't be entertained in a live concert or arena. MCND could perform for me for all eternity and I'd never get bored or annoyed. Keep up the good work boys!!! 2/1. Ateez & Stray Kids - I CANNOT DECIDED WHO IS BETTER FOR ME 😭. Both groups are just too good.
Not a very solid group? Unsure what you meant by this and it's okay if their music is not your taste but saying they are not a solid group tells me you probably know nothing about them.
for me the boyz music is just so colorful you know?, when you listen to their song carefully thats when you hear a song thats fresh to the ears ig? when i first listened and still getting into their music, i didn’t really got into it mostly their bsides, i was like skipping most if it but in some times i suddenly start singing some certain parts of the song on my mind and i was like wait- i wanna listen to this melody or beat again? example is when the song i first listened from them was breaking dawn and i was like okay next, but in a few minutes i was tryna sing the chorus part and suddenly wanna hear the DROP from the chorus and ended up listening the whole song, performance wise? they’re insane!like INSANE! just watch rtk and kingdom they won it for me, they deserve a crown for it, they’re so talented man but their personalities? ohcmon just stan these crackheads their humor is just but more over i relate to planet minjae i think the reason why i got too attached to the boyz was i think their passion and personality over their music and performance is over the top like they embodied every type and concepts of their song thats why they’re so charismatic as individuals and as a group and just enjoys their stage and idk they’re a fun group so just stan them already damnit
For me: 1) TXT (I stan them). I love every single song and I like how diverse their discography is. I think they really stand out among the most popular 4th gen boy groups. Lovesong is one of my favorite songs in K-pop and personally I feel they evolved really nicely: I prefer their recent comebacks over their old ones, except for Runaway that is the QUEEN. 2) Enhypen (I stan them). I' ve followed them since I-land and I like all their songs. Fever, Shout Out, Go big or go home and Blockbuster are my favorite. Their b-sides rock. I liked both Blessed-Cursed and Pass the mic, but I do think they fit other concepts better, especially the concept of Fever and Flicker. I hope they go in that direction considering the gp doesn't like hard hitting songs anyway. 3) Ateez. I don't stan them, but I love some of their songs. Answer is one of the BEST songs in K-pop and I also enjoy Inception and Wonderland. The rest are not for my taste, but they are amazing performers and singers. 4) Oneus. I listened only to Luna, but I loved it so I put the group here. I see they are getting more recognition and I'm happy for them. 5) The Boyz. The Stealer and Reveal slayed, especially Reveal. They were amazing on Road to Kingdom and Kingdom. 6) Stray Kids. Their music is not for me: too much rap and too loud. God's menu is a classic tho, and I liked the chorus of Maniac. I don't know the other groups.
For me 1. Stray kids(I love their stuff) 2. TXT(I enjoy their music a lot) 3. The Boyz(Also love their music, aldo I only can name few of their songs) 4. Enhypen(Except Future Perfect I enjoy their music) 5.MCND(Planet Minjae brain washed me) 6.p1harmony(love their so much) personalities, music not 7. Ateez(not my sound and deja vu being for a long time on autoplay after every kpop song I listened to traumatized me, not that it is a bad song, I just heard it too many times without meaning to) 8.oneus(I only like 2 of their songs, don't know much about the group) 9. Cix(don't have an opinion, going to check them out) 10. Treasure (can't get into any of their songs)
Have u listened to all of Treasure’s b-sides tho ?? I thibk u might like one. Treasure is so much more than their title tracks. I hope u dont sleep on them and dive into more of their stuffs : )))

Understand u reasons but none of these groups comes close to stray kids for awards, RUclips views and album sales
@@liamgreen5548 ok..?
@@liamgreen5548 literally nobody can give two flying fucks if stray kids makes 20 million more views than mcnd 😭
And the TXT LORE?!?! It's so much
"Also they might have the best instrumentals I’ve ever heard in kpop." at least have that i guess... because their autotune is trash
Man do I wonder who’s first
That’s a mystery

As a MOA, it makes me so happy seeing TXT slowly wiggly themselves into people's hearts
It’s so hard not to love them. They are so easy to like. Like I don’t understand how some other fandoms really look at them and hate them.
From snippets I’ve heard I don’t think their music is really my taste anyway, but I was put off from the get go by the decision BigHit made to be like every other big idol company.
i think txt should be given a little bit more credit. i remember i used to hate kpop with a passion, a lot of my friends (i went to an all girls school) tried to get me into it for more then a year, but then i remember one of my friends recommended me a song by txt, blue hour. it was around late 2020 and i think i initially got interested in the music video because she accidentally played a bit in class and i asked her what song it was, and when she told me it was kpop i seemed very hesitant but i can’t say no to good music. so i listened and watched the music video while i walked home and that was my favourite song for awhile.
seeing people recognize and praise ATEEZ just makes me cry, they are finally getting the attention they deserve.

Ateez are definitely one of the best groups in kpop. The energy, the unique style, the creative control they have.
Yup!
the way Going Crazy, My Treasure and Darari represent Treasure’s identity as a group + almost all their bsides (besides VolKno) are like that .. I’m sorry but it’s just sad to see how after two years non fans won’t still even give a chance to their music. I don’t care about the ranking, I understand that their discography may not be for everyone but this opinion is a stereotype :\\ yes Boy and I love you are edm, MMM and Jikjin are darker songs .. but what about the rest of their discography? Call them mediocre, not your cup of tea but that’s their true identity. My Treasure showed their healing side as a group, Going crazy showed their fun side on stage and Darari emphasized their unique vocal colors and ability to participate in their own music too
edit: and I apologize if I was way too direct, it just makes me sad to see this stereotype going on ;u;
👏👏👏

exactly, plus they even have Hello, Ka boom, Orange, so many amazing bsides like why don't people ever give them a proper chance ????
Stray kids is #1 for me bc of their discography.
As a moa who ults txt, I clicked on the vid fully prepared to see txt last, this was a nice little surprise
Agree with ATEEZ. I think the best choreo for them was Say My Name and it's always my reference point for how damn good they are.
I desperately want to learn to dance piratte king, inception, answer, deja vu
I'm mostly a 2nd and 3rd gen boy group stan but I love CIX's music. I'm growing a soft spot for Stray Kids too
txt will always have a special place in my heart. i was an army in 2015 and thought they were my ult until txt came. i love everything about them, their discography, concepts, mvs, outfits, content, humor and personality, fan interaction, merch, chemistry with each other, it’s just too perfect to me and i’m rlly attached. i don’t think i’ll ever like a boy group as much as txt, im so in love with them it’s so fun to collect them and watch their content and keep up with their weverse uploads. i also like enha, and my top ggs are le sserafim, rv, stayc and ive. possible new jeans. ppl say they prefer 3rd gen, but as someone who was there when it started and ended, i think i’d choose 4th bc of the concepts and i relate more to the groups bc im closer to their ages. the music is diff, but the groups i stan make music that’s bearable to listen to
SKZ is number one for me always and I genuinely don't get the 'quality over quantity' argument for SKZ.
I wish them longevity not only in KPOP but in the music industry itself that is slowly dying due to fans' fixation on visuals, sales, charts and choreography and not the quality of songs.
treasure is such a good group. They're super versatile
@@fiena8626 "Their main theme are still teen crush, the feeling of having 1st love." 100% agreed.
SKZ take #1 for me. They are the only group who's discography I love to the point where I don't skip a single song. I loved their last album and definitely think they've been outdoing themselves every comeback which is rare with other boy groups for me.
Exactly! they’re so freaking talented

Exactly
Brand reputation ranking is trash but yeah the boyz is one of the most popular boy groups in korea not just 4th gen

Due to you, i started stanning mcnd 😭 thanks minjae. They are really precious and i love their songs so much.
I was expecting Ateez at no. 1, but then I realised it's yours, not Cheryl's ranking😭
Yes! I agree 100%
for me txt is number 1 they're the only 4th gen boy group to wow me enough to stan i just haven't found another boy group that i want to delve further into bc the songs i hear are never above 10/10 and i only delve further into groups who have above 10/10 songs and so far the only 4th groups that fit that description for me are txt and a bunch of girl groups i know they don't count as a group but xdinary heroes are the only other male artist i've been considering stanning my lil bro reccomended all their songs i wouldn't put them above 10/10 but all of their songs are 10/10 so far which is why i'm considering it
I really hate the fact that most people label treasure's music as just Noise music when literally only 4 music from ALL of their discography are "noise" music (which they aren't most of those are edm and dance pop)
If you actually listen to Treasure’s albums, I would say only their title tracks are crazy upbeat but the rest of the album are usually chill and soft. Their recent comeback Hello is such a cute bop!! 😌💙
YESS FR
Imo their tts are the least 'noisy'
People do have different taste. I decided to stan P1Harmony because of their music (not to mention their strong vocals and raps, also because they produce their own songs with all meaningful lyrics). They being funny and trendy is a bonus. Despite their two-years career in the industry, P1Harmony has quickly topped the list of my favorite 4th Gen groups. And I know over time they will get even better! ➕❤️
YESS, people need to remember they've only had like 4 comebacks in 2 years. they still have time to grow and their discography is chefs kiss already.
Ateez are basically perfect in every aspect lol. Like they don’t lack in a single thing??
They set my standards for other groups way too high
My rank:
1. SKZ (the only artist off all times I have listened to the whole discography)
2. ATEEZ (they impressed me during kingdom, so I checked and liked many of their songs, mostly title tracks)
3. Enhypen (I know just a few songs, but I like them)
4. Oneus (similar to Enhypen, but Enha songs I like slightly more)
5. everyone else.
My ranking because this is fun:
1) Stray Kids - they are the group that's "it" for me.
Everyone truly needs to get on their level, even skz
3) CIX - similarities to MCND: an almost no-skip discography, some of the best songs in 4th gen boy group music, only 5 members which is the ideal group number imo, every member is a great dancer, killer choreography, charismatic and likable members. also a unique concept. they just don't flop.
Cix and the Boyz are my favorite 4th gen boy groups , their songs are just top TIER in my opinion they are the best 😭😭 I LOVE THEM
The thing that puts ateez to the top for me is their blatant artistry as performers on the stage.
Just wish i could see their stage live
My ranking ~
1.Ateez (amazing discography like litterly no skips, their performances are amazing to watch, they have a really good Chemistry in the group. Lovely and talented members + Best storyline ever and they includ it litterly everywhere . This was the group made for me).
2)TxT (the members are so funny and you get attached to them very quickly. Really Nice discography with really few skips and Incredible storyline too. I Like how unique their music are)
3. Enhypen ( recently they've realesed only bops on bops. The vampire storyline is soo Nice. Please I want a full version of Foreshadow and They have amazing live vocals too )
4.SKZ (They were my ult at first but I kind of lost interest. Their last comebacks didn't really stood out to me. I agree with you I'd rather have quality than quantity. But they still have some really Nice besides. And appart from that the group is really funny and full of energy.)
5. Oneus (Their songs are so great I don't stan but their last comebacks have been on repeat and their mv are so pretty to watch. )
Ateez have it all and they're #1 for me I really love them
absolutely agree on txt, even if their discography isn't for everyone you can't deny how well-curated they are as a group. each of them fulfill a very specific role and the five of them together just create synergy like no other. it's already a given for idols to be amazing performers but i think this strong individual brand AND good group dynamic is something unique to txt
@@alysa-hime right, their future has more potential to be developed into another dimension that other group cant
You're right. TXT was the biggest surprise here but I put on the video the moment I saw Yeonjun on the thumbnail, lol
My ranking would be (for groups I really stan):
1. Ateez (since 2019, unmatched, no words to say)
2. TxT (only stan them since last year, know them since debut lol, regretting it so much not to stan them earlier...just can't explain what I feel when hearing their music)
3. Stray Kids (almost all songs are a hit (at least for me), don't have a single bad comeback song, only this comeback is the first I can't vibe as much as the others...except for Case 143, Taste and 3Racha)
4. Oneus (have to cry to almost all songs because they are soo good, improved their music quality over the years so much...and I think Same Scent really did something to me...)
5. Treasure (stan them since Jikjin bc it was a bop, however YG really need to do a better job in promoting them🥲, some of their bsides are not my cup of tea, lost a bit of interest in them but they totally got me back with Hello bc I can't even describe what I feel when hearing this song)
6. Enhypen (stan them since Iland but their music just wasn't for me except for Drunk-Dazed and very few bsides...but they got me back with Future perfect, really don't get why it's receiving so much hate, the whole album is a masterpiece tbh...still crying that Foreshadow isn't a full song, hope they continue like that in the future)
Soo this were my unpopular opinions😄 (sorry for my broken english)
My rankings for these groups would be as follows:
1. Ateez (first group I've ever loved all their songs, like I could sit through a whole album and not skip once)
2. TXT (Love all their comebacks and most b-sides)
3. Stray kids (Loved them from 2017 but the last couple comebacks haven't been hitting the way they use to before , Maniac and Case 143 are quite similar in my eyes))
4. Enhypen (loved most title tracks and alot of b-sides)
5. Treasure (liked a couple title tracks and b-sides but was never interested enough to continue)
6. MCND (only listened to ice age and crush
7. CIX (only listened to movie star and jungle)
8.P1harmony (have only liked 1 or 2 title tracks for a short period)
9. The Boyz (really tried getting into their music but didn't love any track)
10.Oneus (I've heard of them but never heard a song)
You need to check out cix, their discography is really good
@@noeisnothere okay I'll try it out
I kind of agree that Maniac and Case 143 (and to some degree Circus) all feel too similar (I feel like it’s in the vocals-not the quality of the singing but the Melody and chord progressions). I don’t love them as much as other TT and Maniac grew stale. However I loved Charmer and it is probably my favorite B side and maybe song overall. I also still have a lot of songs on my playlist from earlier albums.
You should definitely check out oneus
Oneus title tracks are really good.. you should listen to Valkyrie, Twilight, lit
They have literally done all concepts
for me it's
1. the boyz- i only got into them a few weeks ago and i am absolutely obsessed and very surprised they're not more popular. their name is horrendous tho
2. ateez- popular for a reason, love them.
3. txt- again, so popular for a reason and very easy to get into.
4. cix- know absolutely nothing about the memebers but i've yet to hear a song by them that i dislike.
5. enhypen- i really like the memebers, and i think the first half of their discography is amazing, but the second half is so so bad.
6. oneus- don't know much about the memebers and their recent controversy kinda made me disinterested but some of their music is just incredible.
7. p1harmony- love the members, just can't get into most of their music.
8.mcnd- know nothing about them but i heard like two songs by them and liked them.
9. treasure, stray kids- just incredibly uninterested in them and their music.
this would be different if i only ranked them by how much i like them but alas
So u don't put stray kids on the list
@@liamgreen5548 stray kids is 9th with treasure.
@@meashafong883 woah..thats incredibly low..
💀💀💀💀💀
This ranking really made me realize we all have different music taste 😭 cause to me p1harmony songs have a no skip and I constantly listen to them all day. I never even noticed their marketing and always focused on their songs
fr
Is it weird that I would have thought that Ateez was lower on your list? Like most of the ‘my opinion videos’ always put Ateez down. So now I was happily surprised by your video, so thank you! My Atiny heart is glowing with pride. Ateez Fighting!❤🔥
People used to understimate Ateez but not anymore 😊
People used to understimate Ateez but not anymore 😊
The way you said Skz have been coming back too often threw me off. They've actually slowed down their cbs. IFor the first three years, they would have a cb like every three months. And for the past 2 years, they've had three korean cbs
TXT is 1st, truly one of the few Korean artist in general, bringing real music and not making you feel bombarded by a common concept or making you feel lost what kind of group they are. Their music represent Gen Z
Same vut also enhyphen and skz
@@jayayyy2878 skz literally does the same tho
@@SaraRankins. What I'm trying to say is that txt's discography is the best of any kpop boygroup, not just 4th generation groups, but all kpop boygroups in terms of diversity and discography in general.
@@jayayyy2878 skz is also diverse too. They write all their music.

9. P1Harmony

1. Txt
2. Ateez
3. Oneus
4. Bts
5. Stray kids
6. Enhypen
7. Idk that’s it

#1 Stray Kids
#2 The Boyz
#3 Treasure
#4 Ateez
#5 TxT
#6 Enhypen
#7 Oneus
For me it’s
Agree with enhypen and txt
For me
1. Ateez
2. Oneus
3. The rest
LMAOOO YESS
Ok so here is my personal ranking except the groups I'm not at all familiar with musically (Cix, The Boyz, and Oneus):
Both groups are just too good.
please give cix a change, I can guarantee that you will save a good amount of songs from their discography
@@noeisnothereOkay, I'll make sure to check them out :)
wdym by solid? I just know you only listened to their title tracks
Not a very solid group? Unsure what you meant by this and it's okay if their music is not your taste but saying they are not a solid group tells me you probably know nothing about them.
Not a solid group? Girl, you haven't really checked them out then
for me the boyz music is just so colorful you know?, when you listen to their song carefully thats when you hear a song thats fresh to the ears ig? when i first listened and still getting into their music, i didn’t really got into it mostly their bsides, i was like skipping most if it but in some times i suddenly start singing some certain parts of the song on my mind and i was like wait- i wanna listen to this melody or beat again? example is when the song i first listened from them was breaking dawn and i was like okay next, but in a few minutes i was tryna sing the chorus part and suddenly wanna hear the DROP from the chorus and ended up listening the whole song, performance wise? they’re insane!like INSANE! just watch rtk and kingdom they won it for me, they deserve a crown for it, they’re so talented man but their personalities? ohcmon just stan these crackheads their humor is just but more over i relate to planet minjae i think the reason why i got too attached to the boyz was i think their passion and personality over their music and performance is over the top like they embodied every type and concepts of their song thats why they’re so charismatic as individuals and as a group and just enjoys their stage and idk they’re a fun group so just stan them already damnit
Its so ironic to me that i rarely know their songs even tho i have kevin as a bias and i watch their funny and cute moments more xd
For me:
1) TXT (I stan them).
I recommend cix, music and lore is great.
