Malaysian style roti is based on that, but has an additional flipping step where a small little roti is stretched into a thin film and then folded in again. End result is slightly different in terms of texture, but very similar in taste.
@tonylam4549 hey we rarely use the rolling pin for porotto we usually make a thin film using the dough,cut it and will roll it like a wheel a lot of oil is added so there will be a lot of layers and then we press it with our hand and then toast it on a tawa
