@Lars Poen that's amazing to hear Sir! I'm 19 and intended to be healthy throughout my life. People like really inspire me. Good luck for this routine. 👍
These movements remind me of my childhood; the carefree spirit we had in our movements when we played outside. Nobody told you what to do or what to believe. You were just carefree. Then we became adults and forgot what those feelings felt like. Yeah. Thanks strength side for reminding me that I can still move my body like this without being concerned about what others think.
Totally. I started crying doing this because it was like the memory of being 8 and pretending to be a monkey and an animal and just letting loose on the playground was stored in my body and came rushing in again. Being free and wild in the body is how I/we came into this world, so grateful to be coming back to that
Dude! Just gotta say....BADASS!! I'll be 51 in 2 days, pretty fit for any age but... decades of weight training, contact sports, ARMY stuff etc have left this body pretty beat up. I've been looking for a mobility/ flexibility/ rehab type modality to start doing on my rest days and in that search found your vids last week. After 3 sessions of putting many of the movements together I can already feel improvement. Thank you!!!!
Awesome bro I'm the same. At 57 my beat up shoulders from years of heavy lifting are loving this along with the rest of my body! My mobility and movement capacity is gradually improving like never before, so therapeutic to do this in nature like he does. Combining this calisthenics and natural parkour. Don't go to indoor gym anymore apart from calisthenics/ movement classes twice a week the rest of the time nature is my gym!
I switched from weight lifting to this..at 45 I've been getting injured alot. Since I switched I've been more mobile, feel free, more healing. Stretching and doing this type of work I feel great
Clifford Stanger awesome to hear bro. The more I research and experiment my self with movement and exercise the more I'm seeing that movement and body weight exercise like calisthenics and natural parkour is the way to go along with some strength and fitness added to the mix! This dude definitely seams to be on the right track!
IF THIS VIDEO GETS 10000 LIKES I'll POST A BACKFLIP OFF THE ROCK. That ocean jump was scary as F, make sure to watch until the end hehe. Edit: Almost too 700... better start practicing my backflips 😕
I have been rocking with you for 2 yrs now. At first your style looked odd & ineffective (only because i had never seen these techniques before). But once i actually followed through 1 video & felt the benefit, it was on. Thank you man. Keep going!
And l am in love with the way and the style which present new movements again and again... Thanks for reminding that my dream is to reach your level and having your image as an example to follow. Not all dreams come true but having a visible goal and moving towards reaching it is already something important. Thanks again to everybody from Strength Side team. Your chanel is the most inspiring!
I'm 40 and am and have been active but the simple 180 jump made me feel like an old man. All these movements and if you don't do them, lose the ability to, or to do them easily (as should be) or well. I thanked God for you guys. Thank you for your guidance and good work
Every time I watch one of your flow videos I get motivated to go out and do all the moves I just saw. Even if I just finished working out. Love your videos. Very motivating and inspiring.
Absolutely perfect! I LOVED the intro, or lack thereof. The video started and you got to work...excellent! The energy and movement were amazing as well. Love all the hard work you put into the videos and fist bump to your brother as well. 😁👍👊🔥🔥
Found you from a rings workout, stood for the flow and now introducing the natural and primal movements in my routine. Just LOVE your calmness and way of living life. I started doing meditation also and combining with many other sports/movements and it feels so... FREE! Thanks Josh! Really!
Dude, I’m 61 and the moves are helping me so much. I’m very fit for my age but I’ve been in weight training my whole life and the primordial moves are awesome. I have a question in one of your short videos doing stretching you had something around the toes on your right foot is that to straighten the toes? I’m having a problem like that and I am looking for something to help. Thanks and keep up with the videos. I appreciate them.
Brother. I have been watching now but for awhile. And snap. So many of the imperfect ways I have been working out (with limited information) have been exposed as faulty and lacking. Thank you for your dedication and consideration. I am all ears brother. Very solid stuff. On to hand stands. Then the rest of the world.
Dude, thank you for this video! Am just starting to get into primal movements. Going to do them all (or do my best at them) at my local park on the lush green grass, barefoot.
Mr Ruhe that is true and modern fitness industry is to blame as it continually focuses on what sells and makes money. It's a lot easier and profitable to sell gym memberships and exercise that is simple and easy to do which makes people look good but not necessarily perform good! Natural movement should be mandatory and taught in school starting with primary school at this age kids have natural instincts which make them instinctively want to explore and try natural movement skills, you only have to watch kids playing in play ground and natural environments to see this,. Movement is then for life once learned and the enjoyment factor is ingrained! But we have to learn and actively maintain the practice all to often modern life and modern fitness , exercise and sport work against this.
Beautiful video! Some of the natural movements cause a lot of painful flexing in my feet. Maybe a video on progressions and conditioning for the flex in the toes, arches and ankles that happens in some of these movements? Thanks!
Here is a challenge for you guys !! By the way I think you are inspirational !!! My challenge . Im 64 soon to be 65 uk male . How on earth can I get to any where like you guys . I hope you can change my life . Tim
Omg I literally want to train my body to do what he does. Please Lord help me achieve at least one movement. I have no abs but I see how this can be so impactful to achieving this goal.
great video as usual. Quick question for Josh or anyone. Worst part is wrist pain and lack of mobility. Any chance for a video for that coming up? thanks again! You relieved my back pain and stiffness that cause a hernia injury last year!
Nice jump! It always seems to be WAY higher as your looking down on it :) Hope you're doing well Josh. Any thoughts on whether its ok to move through a "ratcheting" sound? My knees are a THOUSAND times better after doing your bullet proof knee routine for over a month now (No pain during the day anymore :)))!!!) but still getting some ratcheting in the left knee while moving in and out of certain movements (mostly deep crouch, deep squat). No sharp pain but occasionally a soreness for an hour two afterwards. Thanks! Oh! and not just my knees but my shoulders, really, my whole body is just taking off... Seriously, sincerely, THANK YOU...

Thanks so much for this short film Josh. It inspired me to get down to the beach today. Went for a run then followed along as best as I could. It’s early autumn in Norfolk, Uk. The water was freezing but so good! Sun was still shining. I’ve been trying to get your movement where you arch your back into a kick over. My flexibility isn’t good in the thoracic region should I just try old school gymnastic bridges or is there some progression you’d recommend? Peace from the UK 🇬🇧

The fact that we have to watch videos in order to know how to move naturally is a very sad fact of modern times.
