Being close is a total disaster for the area and the ppl... The wealthy locals should collaborate and get that place open... Opl are traveling in hordes
Just came back from a week in both cities. Beach and water is nice but a noisy, not very relaxing destination for those looking for that. (Street traffic, loud modern Jamaican rap, etc.) And you can’t walk far before being hassled by local dudes barking out, “I got weed for you, mon!” and a respectful “no thanks” doesn’t make them stop easily.

Unfurtunately, that so called seven mile beach is disappearing faster than Usain Bolt. 30,40 years ago the sand was almost a quarter mile out to sea.
