3:08 imo it's because it's getting something done instead of doing something. that's kind of the difference between "aspekt dokonany" (perfective - the action reaches completion) and "aspekt niedokonany" (imperfective - the action is continuous). you use the "aspekt" instead of a tense like you'd do in English
3:44 in Polish "clean *in* my room" (posprzątać w moim pokoju) and "clean my room" (posprzątać mój pokój) are both correct, idk why Duolingo throws the less intuitive one at you at such an early stage :/
Twoja wymowa jest niezła! It must've been a headache learning all these new phonemes. It's kinda crazy that english and polish are relatively close on the map, but in speech they are really different.
3:38, yeah the more I watch your thing with duolingo the more I realise how bad it it, but yeah: :Muszę posprzątać w moim pokoju: is just like you tought "I have to clean in my room", and real translation of "I have to clean my room" would be "Muszę posprzątać mój pokój".
like you can see both english can say it with or without "in" but in polish the two versions of this sentence use different cases for mój pokój / moim pokoju
"Musimy porozmawiać" = "We need to have a talk" vs. "Musimy rozmawiać" = "We need to be talking"
