A well-organized space is incredibly motivating, but then adding a couple extra touches to improve the space really take it all the way! Spring is the perfect time to do a little decluttering and organizing!

Mirrors inside cabinet doors is simply genius!! Organization is a true gift to yourself. Thanks for motivating me!
I paint the inside of cabinets with chalk paint to keep inventory of what I have inside. It’s especially helpful for under the sink with cleaning supplies. I just look before I shop!
Hope the handles do not scratch the mirrors
Polident and gloves can move to kitchen. The gloves for pepper cutting and so on. The polident can be used in cleaning glass like flower vases. It helps remove cloudy glass staining. The facial shaver in with wound care if you get a cut in any hairy area you should shave it hair holds bacteria. If you bought it for one thing dosen't mean it's the only thing you can use it for.

I think you can clean jewelry with Polident too.
I did that same thing throughout my entire apartment with the plastic storage bins. Love them! You can see what's in them, classy looking, not bulky, holds their shape, they all match, never have to worry about trying to find another basket or storage bin to match your old ones. I did my entire kitchen, even junk drawer, all closets and bathroom with them. They are more expensive though, but in the long run, will be worth it. If you spill something in it, you don't have to worry about it staining, or leaking out of a basket or fabric bin. Very easy to clean.

I love to have a place for everything and everything in its place! 💗💗💗 Be still my heart! 🥰😘🥰 Organization is a malleable thing and new systems may need adjusting and tweaking as you use it and as life changes! It looks like you gave yourself enough wiggle room to make any necessary adjustments. I know you must be proud of your accomplishment because it can be time consuming and you went the extra mile to make it beautiful and functional with new handles for the drawers and mirrors for for the inside of the doors! great job organizing, but Rebecca!!! We must purge!!! you will have so much more space and won't be holding on to stuff, just stuff. Do a container at a time. One ace. Throw out the Polygrip! It is ok to have empty space. I do love the way you organized it though!! Great job!!

First of all, love your energy !! Secondly, I love that you don’t “have to declutter first.” Sick of organizing vids always telling us to declutter and throw things away when it’s not always appropriate.
Amazing job! My only tip when I organize and declutter: Donate what you don’t use, do not make space for it.
I declutter each closet and I put the stuff I no longer use in boxes for my family to “thrift shop” for free then I bring the rest to Salvation Army.

I am trying to work through my house room by room - progress is slow, but there is progress! We have a tiny linen closet considering we have a 5 bedroom house, so recent renovations included the addition of more built in storage upstairs where a redundant built in desk/bookshelf once stood. We turned half into an upstairs kitchenette for morning tea/coffee and a bar fridge (hidden behind doors) and the other half is now half broom/cleaning closet with power for our Dyson to charge and a whole new bank of shelving for spare bathroom supplies, first aid, etc. So now our original linen closet holds mainly towels and some bedding - I now keep guest room bedding in the basically empty guest room closet, along with all of our spare quilts and blankets. It is so nice for everything to have its place and not have a linen closet bulging at the seams with sheets that we haven’t used for years.

Rebecca is one of my favorite designers whom I have been following since the early 90's And she is one of the best dressed Women I have ever seen and the hair! This Woman also does not age! I know, I know, she designs to the nines, but I had to mention how classy she always looks. There!❤❤❤❤

You can use the Polident to clean the inside of a coffee cup such as a Yetti. You can also use it to clean out a tea kettle. You can use it for so much more then a cleaner for dentures or Invisalign.
. . . and cleaning toilets.

Oh yes! Love the clear drawers. Will definitely be using these in my laundry room/ powder room organization overhaul which are a perfect solution because one can stack other things on them and still have things accessible without unstacking! Organizing does feel good.

Nice organization. My late grandmother's home was a Queen Anne built in 1898. No closets and very few cabinets! She used armoires, hutches and China cabinets in lieu of closets and cabinets. I remember all her fabric covered boxes that cleanly separated items and kept things organized. We're so lucky to have clear acrylic bins and drawers. FYI - dressmaker's beeswax rubbed on the bottom rails of your drawers will reduce the wood-on-wood friction and make them significantly easier to slide. Works like a charm.
Her organization system sounds dreamy 😍 I hate clear boxes because they create visual clutter. I'm actually mad I listened to people about that & open shelving... knew I was still gonna dislike it smh.

Love it ALL!! Seems like the drawers are not gliding smoothly. You might want to have them sanded a bit and i think there's a wood butter (orange scented) that's good for that also.
Soap. Soaping the wood helps it glide. There are silicone snd higher tech products but I wouldn’t sand them and lose wood.
My husband and I downsized and even though I decluttered, going from a five bedroom two story house to a three bedroom bungalow and it’s been a challenge. My mantra has been a place for everything and everything in its place…and if it doesn’t have a place, out it goes😊 still, very challenging.
Oh and polident cleans out vases…who knew?

Loved this, I’m in the process of organising my STUFF and having a Big de clutter of STUFF I don’t use anymore and some I’ve never used Lol 😂, I need to get some containers to help me see what’s in them once I get rid of the STUFF I don’t want anymore, I’m just going from room to room at the moment and donating a heap of STUFF for someone else to use. Rebecca, if you haven't done so already, print out the information on the electric junction boxes you painted. Make several copies and file them away for easy access. We have both paper and electronic files for house info and I also keep a binder for paper manuals that come with appliance and electronic purchases. Why? In the event our children need to access information quickly and cannot get into our phones, the binders are at the ready. The last two homes we purchased and sold, the new owners were gifted with binders filled with pertinent information on the property/house. No one has ever said, "Oh, I don't need that; I'll figure it out eventually." Blessings! I do love these organization videos!

You can rub soap over the drawer slides to improve the sliding.
I did this to part of my linen closet a couple of weeks ago. I need to get more bins to finish. What a difference it makes in finding things and looking nice too. I will tackle drawers next. Thanks for sharing Ms Rebecca. God's speed.

The mirror additions are the best! For me, I like folded towels + linen front and center because it looks tidy. I would use organizing trays for all of the other stuff in the drawers or opaque containers with labels. Electrical cords in opaque containers with a label way up top.
Which door do I dread the most? Somedays, the front door! Lol. Working on decluttering and then investing in organizing trays etc.

I just organized my utility closet from hell last week. It has three sides and I had already cleaned, decluttered, and reorganized two of them, but just had never gotten around to that third evil side. Wow-made such a difference to have it all done. I always declutter before I go to the dollar store to find pretty containers for my stuff (I like pink and gray), but be sure to write down shelf measurements before you buy those containers. BTW, I have even used pretty decorative boxes to coral things instead of spending $$ on containers. We want our closets to be Pinterest pretty, but that’s not the point of decluttering. I can live with not everything matching.

On another note, I’m forever changing things until I’m satisfied with the overall look. The last thing to always complete the project is the containers & bins of any sort because they can be a bit pricey, but overall it’s so fun! I can literally do it everyday of my life ❤

very helpful video - still would have use the drawers for more towels and sheets - The mirrors are nice - - you mentioned needing an upstairs laundry in a previous post - can something like that be scooched into the guest bathroom (?) since there is the water source for the bidet/fern planter ?Will be interesting to see where you put a laundry closer to your master bedroom.....
