I really first time see water/sea/boat in Bonanza.
It took them 9 seasons to finally get there-
To this day, that boat is actually used as a tour boat on Lake Tahoe.

Lake Tahoe has an elevation of 6200', not 7000. It's also not the "deepest lake in the world".
It's the 3rd deepest lake in North America. They probably didn't know that in the 1860s.

Filmore says Lake Tahoe is the deepest lake in the world, but that's not true. It's not the deepest lake in the world or even in North America. The only title Lake Tahoe can claim is the deepest lake in Nevada
Great Slave Lake in Canada is North Americas 2,014 ft
Lake Baikal in Russia is the world's deepest lake 5,387 ft

@@midohioguardian4957 Easy. a rope with knots tied in it and a weight at the end. Each knot tied the same distance apart, then once the weight hit the bottom, you identify the knot that is out of the water, pull the rope up and just add up the number of wet knots and X buy the distance between knots.
This video is so screwed up it’s unwatchable.

some guy blows in as a "lumber man" and is doing WHAT exactly with no contract or real result ,
then Joe is the captain for no reason at the end
