- Another adventures of Ben Cartwright and his sons (Pernell Roberts, Dan Blocker, Michael Landon and Mitch Vogel) as they run and defend their ranch while helping the surrounding community.
Always good to see Rockys boxing coach.
Another great episode.Little Joe licking his chops when he saw that young lady.
"Our home is your home. Stay a lifetime." Boy, have times changed.
Don`t forget " Those high and mighty Cartwrights" !!
Now its "what's in it for me?" And "Meeeeeee!"
The Penguin!!!!! 😄😄
Amazing how every single "old friend" of Ben's who comes to stay on the Ponderosa just happens to have a beautiful young daughter or granddaughter in her early 20's.
Burgess Meredith a legendary award winning actor from stage, film and television. He was a tiny man and a powerful actor. Everything he was in was quality.
Absolutely. Made me happy seeing him in this. Like you said, you know its gonna be entertaining if Burgess fn Meredith is in it!
I must say Ben Cartwright is not a bad looking man for his age
Yes indeed! He is very attractive for his age and he is in great shape too! I wonder what he looked like without his hairpiece on!
@@SB-000hair piece. Hoss and Adam too 😊
He was in Rocky with Silvestor stellone.
Wish it was like this now days like it was back then this world sucks now days
What I wouldnt do to go back to that era.............the world has gone insane. If I do watch tv, I watch Bonanza
Let me know if you find a way. I would join you. I can't comprehend the world. Especially the US.
You would not like that era woman had no say back then.
Sure. Except for outbuildings lol
What a pity and what a waste cutting down hundreds of years old majestic trees for lumber business . Little Jo or Michael Landon died from pancreatic cancer in 1991 aged 54. All others including Ben and Hoss and Adam are long dead too.
It's Grandpa “I'll tell you what's on my mind….It's butt cold out here, and I'm fresh out of beer!” from Grumpy Old Men !!!
Classic movie 🎥
Liam Dunn - Father O'Brien, also played the Rev. Johnson in Blazing Saddles. Being the local priest in a converted saloon, handing out the alter wine, brings a whole new meaning to Holy Orders
*SOUND REMEDY*
If you're having the same problem with the sound being garbled, too low or nonexistent I found listening using headphones or a secondary speaker made the sound where it can be clearly heard. I don't know why or how it works, but that's what I do for most of these ones this person uploaded.
I’ve not had problems. I either watch it from Tv mostly iPhone
What’s with all the men wearing their rings oh their right hand? 😅
Rocky Balboa's manager
Thanks! Was really trying to place him. He should have used the word Bum somewhere.
He played the penguin in the original tv batman.
At the first scene I was expecting someone to yell "YO ADRIAN!" And I realized Ben could have made so much. more money selling "Bens Brandy" It was his first reaction to anyone hurt. Seemed to work most of the time. This time he waited to long.
Sad there's no mention of Adam, even in passing in this episode, (where it seemed appropriate), and the reason he's elsewhere. In this episode Ben talks as though he's only ever had 2 sons. Strange, considering he's saying this to a friend he's not seen in decades. (I did however notice Hoss mentioned Adam in passing in one of the episodes in season 12).
No sound in video
NO audio
It'd be nice if you could put these on here where you can hear it no sound

44:52 "I hiired the the firm of Duffy and McGee" A reference to
Paddy Duffy (12 November 1864 in Boston, Massachusetts - 10 July 1890) was an American boxer of Irish descent. He was considered the first world welterweight champion of boxing's gloved era.
He lost to hard hitting Jack McGee in Boston on December 19, 1884 in a fast second round knockout before a crowd of around 100. Both contestants were Boston natives, though McGee was four years older. After this rare knockout loss, Duffy lost only once more in his career.
No audio. This is not trash

Works good on my Bluetooth speaker
The ONLY thing I didn't like about this show was that they were ALWAYS drinking! No wonder kids grew up thinking it was normal to get drunk! 🇺🇸
I'll drink to that pardner..!
🍻
Yeah I don’t like drinking either
Your comment makes me need a drink.
@@grizzlycountry1030lol 😅
the old man could be older version o Harrison Ford
Ohhh dammm no sound😠😠
Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
More catholic propaganda.
f15:08 He knew there were probably other Cartwrites and ranchands around, what did he think he was going to do with one handgun kill all of them? Because of an insult? Ridiculous writing. And for that matter 15:20 in a big house armed to the teeth with all kind of guns why would Joe run outside to gunshots unarmed? Such bad writing.
28:54 His story is that he can't go into business with the crooked businessman because Ben Cartwright is a friend of his and he needs the 100k. That being the case, he would have known it was that same crooked businessman who was holding Ben over the coals. Also pretty ridiculous that he would have signed the contract with nothing in it about what type of business was going to be built.
43:21 So he double crosses New York gangsters and what do they do about it? Help him unload the church alter? Omg, this has to take the cake for the biggest plot absurdity of the whole episode lol.
45:14.And to finish off the episode we have the frail little old man beating up all these rough and tumble cowboys in a big brawl after just recovering from a serious gunshot wound. Perfect.
Although I wouldn't have expended the time and effort you did on your analysis, I agree wholeheartedly that the episode was beyond ridiculous, even if it was intended to be for laughs. Duggan's comrades would've have killed him for double-crossing them. And the righteous Cartwrights fighting to defend a swindler? Totally out of character. I've seen some good episodes on Bonanza on RUclips, but this wasn't one of them. I guess I have to quote Duggan, "You can't win 'em all."
