Bird and Doc were supreme competitors. The fight started quickly and Barkley was trying to break it up by grabbing Bird. Total reaction by all in a tense game. I've never thought of Doc, Bird, or Barkley as cheap-shot guys,and I still dont.

Being a Pistons fan I can definitely relate to the Celtic hate although I only strongly disliked McHale cause I loved his game so much 😆
@@kristaylor2315 The reason you hate a team so much, is because of the history of them beating YOUR team. In the 80's they talk about the Lakers - Celtic rivalry, but there was a 3rd team, and they were the 76ers. I still say the "83" 76ers team was the beat single season team OF ALL TIME!!
I'm aware of that, it's partially why I did hate them. I actually liked that era of 76'ers Doc, big Mo and Toney were my guy's.
Dr.J has very large hands. A famous picture of Dr.J’s hand on a choke hold on Bird hangs in a local pizza place here.
Dr. J couldn't stand how good Larry Bird was and couldn't beat him, so he was hoping to hurt Larry by throwing him to the floor.

The topic moved away from Bird real quick. I've noticed in other videos that Erving never wants to give credit to Bird, just like Barkley.
Bird was so overrated, played 0 defense, slow and 0 athleticism. An average player whom you white people.
Please, J. talks about Larry being a basketball genius, a savant. Likewise Barkley talks about Bird being able to will his team to win and thanks to him and Magic he never had to work a real job in his life.
