These are great exercises that you can do in the pool or water .
Its great to work in the water for 3 main reasons:
    Hydrostatic pressure
    Dynamic resistance
Less gravity on your injured joint.
Strengthening your core and lower back is essential on preventing injury and pain.

This was great, I've been looking for "how is sciatica caused?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Sonictoria Stupefying Smasher - (should be on google have a look )?
It is a good one off product for discovering how to stopping your sciatica without the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my colleague got cool results with it.

Thank you so much!!! I'm a nearly "cough" 50 year old woman and these excercises are just what I've been looking for. I've just started hydro therapy and your instructions are spot on. I'm 4 months post surgery for significant breakage and fractures to tibia and fibula. You are easy to listen to easy to watch.

When I am in the pool I do some "lazy" doggy paddle laps (just slow absentminded) and while I do this I "talk" to my brother. He's not realy there but I know how he would respond to things. In my head I zone out and discuss everything from the idiot on the drive over to my friend who is battling cancer. It's very relaxing because you can "say" anything and nobody will interrupt or say anything rude. Just remember to keep the chat in your head. There are also water proof radios you can buy and I listen to music too. Hope some of that helps.

    Hello, thanks for the exercises!
But, this is coming from a swim trainer: a good kick does not come from the knees but from the hips. It does Not look like a cycling motion since the legs are kept more or less straight: it's much easier on the knees (this is especially important in order to avoid knee injury when using fins!) and it makes the glutes and core work out just a bit more. And... it's more efficient for front crawl swimming too.

are you me? l4/l5 and compressed s1 leaving me unable to do anything for ... months? felt like my life was over at 28/29. after 6 months of walking walking, now deep water exercises etc - i am in the greatest shape of my life and the pain i 'managed' for half a decade is no where to be felt.
never would have thought i'd drop the barbell/weights and be such an advocate for hydrotherapy and swimming as a primary exercise to maintain the body/longevity.
