dude... perfect. The cuts are clean and barely recognizable. The melody and the songs are easy to pick out for old players, and very enjoyable. What also blows my mind is how you made it in the old Mario Paint! This video gets five stars, the songs get five stars, and you, my friend, get as many stars as you could possibly want.

My friend showed me this a really long time ago and I didn't recognize any. Now, having developed an interest in the series and its music, and also playing through some of EarthBound, I recognize nearly all of it. Great job, and now I'll give it the five stars it deserves from me.

Great job. The original game, too. I had the thing on the original system, with the clunky plastic thing to use the mouse on. Sadly, i don't hear much of MOTHER 3, here. Did you not know about it? Oh well.
Unbelievable! It started out so slow, I was like "oh man he better not play that same thing for 7 minutes". But then it suddenly morphed into this incredible arrangement -- fantastic work! I'll definitely be rooting for your video.
@tristman99 the idea was the recreate the eight separate melodies using eight separate voices, as depicted in the original Mother game. Everything about this arrangement was carefully crafted. :0)
@U2becommenter thanks for your wonderful comments! In terms of the harmonization, I tried inverting the interval, and it didn't sound pleasant to me. I often switch instruments mid-melody for the sake of passing the melody to other voices, much like an orchestra would. Sometimes it's handy for octave transpositions as well, given the narrow melodic range. The timbre of Mario Paint is difficult to work with, and various combinations/octave placement of notes pose that wonder challenge.
You know what I would love? If the CEO of Nintendo America saw this and cried so hard he demanded that Earthbound be ported to VC. Then he sent a letter to Nintendo of Japan asking if they could collaborate and make a Mother 4. 16 bit, just like the old days. And release it on the DS. And the offer is accepted, and the greatest game ever is made, and comes over to America. And then Mother 1 and 3 are ported to DS and VC. Ah, if only...
Man, there's so many people out there who use MPC with all these soundfonts, or whatever, but if you ask me, a true artist works within his limits. Way to go, man. You're one of the best MP composers out there, dude. Honestly. I mean, they're not technically your songs, but it doesn't make what you do much less impressive.
This is an amazing tribute to one of the most amazing and lesser known series in Nintendo History. You have done an amazing job on it, and the award was well deserved. *Stamp of Approval*

Makes me want to try my hand at it, hahaha. By the way, I have to say, I got a little chuckle out of the Hotel theme - I don't think I see you use the baby icon too often to so it was fun to see it included. Wonderful job as always.

Your talent has always struck a chord with me, such wonderful songs who'se tunes I've listened to all throughout my childhood, redone in the most nerdly and true game-loving manner -- the things you can do given the limitations of simple Mario Paint is truly astounding. The original songs in the this melody were beautiful and unsurprisingly, so is the conversion you've done. You sort-of keep alive a feeling that's all but lost in music and video games~

This is the hardest song/s you've done so far. You did great switching between fast and slow tempos. Not only are you good at composing you also have great timing.
TBB's got this contest wrapped up. Even his lesser videos get tens of thousands of views, and this is certainly one of his best. I know I'll personally be watching this again. 5/5 and favorited.
