My PC is dead but here are some of my breakcore/glitchcore tips: • Crank up the Timebase/PPQ in Project settings for more precision. • Avoid overusing dBlue Glitch (or even Gross Beat), otherwise change/automate the parameters; you can disable its Modulation/AM/FM ringing thing and set the probability percentages for the various effects of being triggered. There's also Effectrix (which isn't free). • Get creative with Slicex, you can record (or render instead) your project with Edison and reuse it in Slicex as a sample (however it saves on your disk in the Sliced beats folder). • Learn music theory for the sake of jazzy chord progressions, or right-click the pen tool in piano roll to select different chords (e.g. m7, m11, Maj7, 9, aug, sus2), you can also shift notes by octaves. • Use Pure Data, or other DAWs for more interesting sounds (then edit in FL Studio). • Look up other dynamic, saturation, transient shaper compression VSTs. • Do not layer too many instruments/sounds unless you're making ambiences, it makes it sound “watery”, so does it when you add too many effects in the master, you want the breakbeats to sound sharp. • Download SoundFonts, most are also free but might require a VST SF player in newer versions of FL Studio (since it fell out of use). • Use other reverb, filter, flanger VSTs. • Sometimes use very short convolution reverb samples to make it sound like it's being played in a room in real life. • Plunderphonics and sound collages are vital in breakcore, it's all about the art of sampling, like what hip-hop is.
Also listen to lots of IDM/Glitch/Flashcore artists like Woulg, Ocoeur, Valance Drakes, Acces to Arrasaka, Datach’i, Xploding Plastiks, Erratic, Vaetxh, Richard Devine, Qebrus stuff like that
There's bound to be some gatekeeping always... If this method is a gateway to somebody in making Breakcore, I'm honestly all about it. Anyone committed enough will eventually with time create their own style and fall down the rabbit hole of the more complex side of IDM/Breakcore/Glitch stuff.
You could literally do the same with any genre if you had the samples. It's only easy if you take the easy option. I could get a trap pack and just stick them together or literally any loop from any genre and make a song.
I personally use slicex & MIDI to control every drum note in order to make odd time signatures, glitchy trills and whatnot. I also have a bunch of midi parameters to control panning, pitch, sample start and filter Q & cutoff to make creative snare rolls & percs. The amen break can be morphed to almost anything with some effort, I suggest trying messing around with Slicex! It's pretty easy once you realize how flexible it is.
HOW TO MAKE RIDDIM!!1!1!1(it's stupidly easy lol) 1. Grab a sample pack for 15 bucks or something 2. 140 BPM 3. Make a kick and snare pattern and have it fade in. This will be your intro 4. Why are there so many haters? Probably 50% of the Breakcore tracks out there are made exactly like this, you just dont recognize the samples. Yet most would call it a fire breakcore track. I bet you even sewerslvt made some tracks that way, maybe beeing a bit more creative on the processing.

Sounds good! Only problem is that you used a bunch of samples. For the drums, that is understandable. But at least makr your own leads or some beckground elements or something.
