Took out my braids and joining the challenge, trimmed last night, and tomorrow would be wash day for me
You aren't supposed to use metal at all, as it draws positive charges from the clay and makes it less effect on your hair - stir with plastic utensils
Just watched the video. Some questions I have. I only have Rhassoul clay to use, do I need to add ACV and Aloe Vera Juice to it. Also, I didn't notice you saying that you shampooed your hair at anytime, does the hair need to be shampooed before applying the clay, or do I shampoo after rinsing out the clay before going in with the deep conditioner.
You don’t need to if you just Rhassoul Clay. Shampooing is completely optional. I recommend if you do so, do it after the clay treatment

I decided to use the Moroccan rhassoul, soapnut and Neem mask for detox then cowash with shikakai and sweet orange.

I only have clay washes from Chocolate Kinks and Kurls and Sarenzo Beauty. Would those be ok to use?

Can I use an oil like Rosehip which is good for helping dry strands regain moisture and repairing damaged hair? I made this mask a couple of months ago but my hair felt a little dry. (I did condition it) Will adding a small amount of oil disrupt the effect of the clays?
No it won’t disrupt it, you can definitely use the oil

I have braids in, can I apply the clay mask on my scalp only? Can I use the mask on my 2y old? Sure would be following this challenge with mums hair and hopefully my daughter too❤
If your hair is in braids, it will be difficult to get the clay out. You can use it on kids

Has anyone ever applied these clays to locs?
Yes, just dilute the mixture until it’s watery. Use like half a cup of clay to at least one cup of water.
