These realistic things are actually awesome, you don't just make them look horrifyingly life-like with their proportions but make them look slightly caricatured like the source material, like Luigi's head, that it just works
This is exactly what the enemies in the mario games see. An insurmountable, voracious predator, and behind it, the cold, mercilessly unfeeling gaze of a forever player 2. Really hoping you decide to do a third piece with these, maybe princess peach smacking a piranha plant with a frying pan?
Your human characters have gotten so good! it's always the hardest thing to do, because the slightest thing being "off" will be noticeable since we're so familiar with them, and making humans with a stylized look like this without them looking "off" is even harder, and you've been nailing it! I love these random ideas, too! I have no idea what to expect anymore, but I'm always excited for it!
Luigi looks like hes fed up with being player 2 and is gonna take his revenge on mario. This looks amazing. It also looks like a really fun yet tedious hobby.
You really nailed the, "You'll never be #1" eyes! 😂😂😂 Absolutely loved this! Can't wait to see what other realistic things you make. A realistic Goomba would be terrifying 😀
I love your ‘semi-realistic interpretation’ of the Mario bros franchise, you absolutely nailed a realistic Luigi. Who knows what the future holds but somewhere down the road I want to make an animated Mario bros fan film. Now I’m thinking of taking a semi-realistic approach after your inspiring sculpts!
The blank stare of luigi as he stares into the never ending abyss while contemplating how he will never get the girl and be the better brother......Is captured perfectly! In all seriousness, This is amazing work as always and your VO for these pieces only makes me look forward to your videos more. Keep up the good work, cant wait for the next video!!!
I was thrown off by the lack of shading around the whites of his eyes at first, before I realized the brightness around the edges actually makes it look like he's always on the verge of tears, which further drives in the "You'll Never Be #1" Look. Brilliant job.
That's a pretty dope clay figure. You should have master class of your own teaching us about textures and etc.🦖 Make Yoshi army 🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖
I love yoshi's little boots! The whole figure looks amazing, and yes. Luigi's eyes will haunt me, but it's worth it to see such a cool design come to life ^^
I like how you are making these iconic characters realistic, they are fantastic! Yoshi is awesome 🤗 the boots are super cute 😊 they really make the sculpture look well grounded 💛 Take care
I was looking for something to watch, and lo and behold, this was posted two seconds ago. Your realistic Mario and Bowser was incredible, and this video is equally awesome. The sketch for T-Rex Yoshi is a riot.
Your output is insane! I can't believe you make these incredible sculptures and edit and narrate a video each and every week. You're a workhorse. Great job
A realistic Yoshi that actually makes sense! It has a great balance of the cute and cartoony aesthetics and realistic proportions and textures. Awesome job
I don't comment often. But this sculpt of Luigi is just amazing. I love the character behind it. Im not talking about Luigi himself, but the sculpture itself. Bravo!
I think this is the first realistic yoshi I've seen that actually still stays true to the original character. He looks scary, sure, on account of him being a realistic dinosaur, yet he still looks friendly with those big beady pupils. Excellent work!
I like how stylized both characters are! This is a super interesting direction to take with your sculpting, I hope we can see you revisit other characters in that style! Loved the video, the result is great!
It's just a trivial little joke, how you added a double chin because he started to remind you of yourself, but I've been so actively insecure about my own double chin that this genuinely made me lighten up a little. :)
As a fan of of green Mario this is my favorite sculpture you’ve done so far. I would pay a 100 gold coins, 8 red coins, 5 dragon coins, and 10 blue coins, to have this displayed on my mantle.
Methods I use to clean an airbrush: 1) get some cleaning fluid on Amazon, put it in the airbrush, Jack up your PSI to as high as it can go, and spray out 2) ultrasonic cleaner works wonders. Get one if you don’t have one 3) my personal favorite and one that’s VERY fast: get some mr. Hobby thinner, get a dropper, get a little bit of the thinner in the airbrush, then keep sucking it up and squirting out with the dropper. Super fast, super effective
Would love to see a princess peach and toad one as well. Don't know how to picture them creepy but I'm sure they will be just as awesome as Mario and Luigi
Same idea! sort by newest is pretty great, I had the same exact comment! (show some of the new people in the comment section some love. *Sort by newest gang!*
It's funny to me how Mario looks heroic and Bowser is genuinely frightening then there's Yoshi, a dinosaur/turtle hybrid, who looked like something from a fever dream, and Luigi, who just looks like every middle aged Italian man ever complete with cold dead eyes
Technically it’s both because originally it was supposed to look like a shell but they were bad at modeling back then but the shell specifically made for people riding and no other reason
5:57 Finally, someone else who can enjoy the 1993 Mario Movie for what it is. I agree with what Diamondbolt said about it in that it's not good as a Mario movie, but if you take away what you know mario for, it's a genuinely fun time
Looks good! Adequately envy-inducing :DDD. Would love to see a scene where Luigi is looking at Mario vs. Bowser's fight, maybe deciding not to join and see his brother get his comeuppance!
Dude. that's a great idea! sort by newest is pretty sick so I can show some of the newer people love. (I know I'm not North of the Border but hey, any recognition helps amirite?) *Sort by Newest gang!*
My fellow Adam. The Mario ,Luigi , Bowser and Yoishi models Are BEAUTIFULLY crafted and realized. Your creativity and humor are only an adornment to your true worth. Thank you for your contribution to human culture. Also, SIDE NOTE:your music selections are FANTASTIC
The 90s movie was a product of it's time and probably will never be forgotten and why Nintendo doesn't do movies too often lols. Hopefully there will be a good Legend of Zelda movie in the future, but i won't hold my breath for it.
This definitely has a bit of the vibes of those ultra gritty 3D renders of video game characters that were super popular in the early 2000s... and I love it so much. Especially the Vietnam war flashback Luigi.
5:46 It would’ve been hilarious if you put claws poling through Yoshi’s boots, like Luigi tried to put cute boots on it, but at the end of the day, it’s still a fricking dinosaur.
I honestly do most of my projects in dresses and skirts so if I drop a small piece it lands in my skirt and I don't loose it. this can be achieved with aprons, too!
honestly you inspire me with this stuff. i love how much detail went into it, how you still made the characters recognizable, and i love your names for the colors XD i might want start doing clay sculptures.. it looks so frustrating and fun at the same time..

I love that idea!
Yes, please.
Or her shoe
Forever player 2- I love that
Why a frying pan? What about her umbrella? Princesses do not cook. They get their toad minions to do that that sort of slave work.

Now I honestly want to see what a realistic Toad would look like. Half mushroom, half man. That's gotta be some horrifying thing for sure.
Your wish came true
@Ggnkrsfkoqxbk like in the old series
be careful what you wish for
Little did they know.....
@Ggnkrsfkoqxbk that’s to boring for these videos
Your creature and human sculpting continues to outdo itself, really well done!
Hi! :D

that looks like a wild primal version of yoshi . . . whitch is quite an interesting concept

Do you mean like a wierd lizard thing with a tiny head in a brown trenchcoat?
Justamags you doomed us all
And also he should try kirby with a cross
Watch terminal montage if you don’t get the reference
@North of the Border I was precisely thinking of a weird lizard with a trench coat 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 can't wait!!
