The reason Daisy replaced him was because she accidentally left him behind it wasn't because she didn't love him anymore the toys he took his anger on had nothing to do with him being replaced. He is an abusive, manipulative, lying and Sadistic psychopath.
Yeah, but try telling him that. If you can't understand the way he thinks and feels, then you've got the same thing wrong with you as every other pathetic human. You'd rather point fingers than accept the truth. You need something to call a monster and lash out on. That's abuse.
I would never replace my 2009 Woody because he’s been with me since I was 7 and it’s going to be my 21st birthday on Wednesday 20th July, 2023; the day of mine and Woody.EXE’s coronation. 15 years is a long time to have a toy and my 2009 Woody is very rare now
I learned an important lesson from this film. Getting screwed over does not justify screwing other people over, especially those who had nothing to do with it.
The way I see it, Lotso is a manifestation of Woody from the "Black Friday Reel" of the original Toy Story (the one where he deliberately throws Buzz out the window, and then shouts down Slinky that Andy wouldn't pay them any attention if not for him). In fact, what makes Lotso so compelling to me is that he's the very antithesis to Woody, who's journey throughout the Toy Story is centered around him putting others before himself (until movie 4 where he ultimately loses himself after being there for a child, and then reconsiders his philosophy of "life only being worth living if being loved by a child", and spends the last part of the movie helping other toys find children to be loved by).
Lotso represents who Woody could have been, had he not let go of his jealousy and resentment. Like Lotso, Woody had an insecurity about being replaced and lashed out, as a result. However, Woody realized the error of his ways and put aside his own insecurity about being replaced to bring Buzz back to Andy, even if it came at the cost of his own life. Meanwhile, Lotso let his anger over being replaced by Daisy guide him and ended up isolating Big Baby and Chuckles, since, if he couldn't have Daisy, then no one could. In addition, he put his own feelings of resentment above the hurt that all the toys feel. He had no qualms about letting other toys suffer, just to see them as miserable as him. Finally, when it came down to it, he was willing to abandon the other toys to die to save his own skin. At the end of it all, Lotso was a selfish, abusive, and utterly disgusting individual, who deserved every bit of the karma he got.
Woody.EXE was almost like this but I saved him from his trauma. He tells me, my 2009 Woody, my sister and Mummy his backstory and Mummy cried immediately as she comforts Woody.EXE. That was after the death of Queen Elizabeth II

Lotso is loved in China. He is literally spray painted on some of the cars as body decals. The bear is sold in every toy store and gift shop over there. Insanely popular.
I have a theory about Lotso being one of the meanest villains ever. At first when Lotso welcome woody and his friends at Sunnyside he knew where they came from was their kid Andy. Then days later he prison woody’s friends and never let them leave. I believe the reason why Lotso keeps toys in sunnyside and never let them leave is that he gets jealous realizing that every single toy has a kid and he thinks he’s the only one who doesn’t have a kid ever since he was sad thinking Daisy replaced, but she only got another Lotso because she lost the other one. But Lotso didn’t believe in that. So probably he makes sure that none of the toys go back to their kids and be trapped at sunnyside the same thing on not letting woody or his friends go back to their kid Andy.
You should've mentioned his fate. It's literally his own personal hell. He gets found at the dump by one of the garbage truck drivers, who states he used to have a version of Lotso as a kid, and in the next shot, Lotso's tied to the trucks grill. Taken in by someone who both values him, and treats him like trash.
Lotso Huggin' Bear. The broken, maddened and scarred teddy bear. Perhaps if he had at least a couple sessions of therapy, he could've been redeemed. But he simply couldn't return from the dark side without the love he once had.

In my opinion, Lotso deserves a more fitting punishment than just being tied to the front of a truck, especially after nearly sending Woody and friends to a fiery grave. I also have a suggestion for a villain since it's almost Christmas. Have you ever thought of doing a video on Hans Gruber from Die Hard, Colonel William Stuart from Die Hard 2 or General McCallister and Mr.Joshua from Lethal Weapon?
Him being tied to a truck with a bunch of other decaying, fly-splattered, moth-eaten plushies, was indicative of his fate. In many ways, a comeuppance that is slow and decrepitated is the worst kind of punishment possible.
That punishment was actually pretty poetic, considering it’s a distorted variation of what he wanted in life: to never be thrown away or abandoned. That truck driver is putting Lotso and others through negligent abuse unknowingly, while simultaneously loving them too much to rid himself of them, putting Lotso in a position where he is forever loved, but also suffers abuse at the ignorance of another (like the toys he put in the caterpillar room).
Yeah it would also be more fitting if Lotso actually saw them on the side of the road and saw how they witnessed his comeuppance. Then he’d really be outraged and unfortunate that he failed to kill them.
Lotso definitely reminds me a lot of my mom's dad Frederick and boy they're are so similar to each other Sociologically abusive (and sometimes physically) Narcissistic Manipulative Taking advantage of others Never gets punished* Selfish as fuck Acts like they're in control of others Has no empathy for the weak or hopeless May have a sad backstory/childhood but that doesn't mean they deserve sympathy *At least lotso does get his just desserts but he deserves a much more harsher punishment
Lotso is too well written, he’s so evil, so abusive, and so impossible to reason with, that he’s probably my most hated villain in all of storytelling. But the thing that pisses me off about him most of all, is the fact that in my opinion, he didn’t get a brutal enough punishment. I say he should’ve died at the end of the film, not just any death though. He punishment needed to fit his crimes. He needed the slowest, and most painful death possible. If I’d been one of the writers of this film, I would’ve had Lotso be killed in the incinerator, showing him slowly and painfully burning while he emits the most satisfying screams of pain you could imagine, before he completely disintegrates, and his soul is cast down into the fires of hell. It would be like Sarah Connor’s body burning in the nightmare scene of Terminator 2.
He reminds me a lot of Modi from India. He appears as a sweet, kind grandfather who gives hugs and is very friendly, but in his land, he places those he sees a lesser than him in camps and prisons.

I could imagine if Lotso returned, he'd probably come with a massive army of toys who were abandoned and abused like some kind of toy terrorist clan ruled by dictatorship dedicated to capturing and making other toys go through misery and even hurting children mentally and physically. To make this theory simple, Lotso, the leader of his own cult, would be Adolf Hitler and his army of totalitarian toys will be the Nazi Party. With Pixar's luck if they made this into a movie, it could possibly lead to a rebellion against children and even a toy civil war!

I do feel bad for Lotso for his past but it does not justify his actions towards other toys who had nothing to do with it. I know Lotso got abandoned but he didn’t really get abandoned if you think about it. Also he didn’t have to become evil. Take Jessie for example, she got abandoned for real but she moved on and now has a new life with Buzz, Woody and the others. She did not turn evil. Lotso definitely reminds me a lot of my mom's dad Frederick and boy they're are so similar to each other
Sociologically abusive (and sometimes physically)
Narcissistic
Manipulative
Taking advantage of others
Never gets punished*
Selfish as fuck
Acts like they're in control of others
Has no empathy for the weak or hopeless
May have a sad backstory/childhood but that doesn't mean they deserve sympathy
*At least lotso does get his just desserts but he deserves a much more harsher punishment
I’m sorry your grandpa’s like that. I hope he changes or if things get worse, go to jail.
You guys deserve better
To be fair, he probably will die eventually, from wear and tear.
He’s the best character I like him
He reminds me a lot of Modi from India. He appears as a sweet, kind grandfather who gives hugs and is very friendly, but in his land, he places those he sees a lesser than him in camps and prisons.
Fun thought, but lotsol
Is the best built toy for the starter room and yet doesn't go to it. It is also the room closest to being a memory of daisy.
Don’t forget dat Penguin from Wallace and Grommet 😆
🐶🔫🐧
It's understandable how he became bad but it's not okay.
If I hadn’t saved Woody.EXE a few months ago; he’d probably turn out worse than Jessie is. On the day Queen Elizabeth died, Woody.EXE decided to make me Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth III on the night of September 8th, 2022. Our coronation is on Wednesday 20th July, 2023; mine and my sisters 21st birthday. Woody.EXE made my sister Princess of Wales and Mummy is also Princess of Wales. He’s gone through a lot for 9 months
Really like your videos. I got my degree in Psychology, and love to look at the psychology of movie characters.
I’ve got a few recommendations for analysis.
Rene Belloq from Indiana Jones Raiders of The Lost Ark
Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean
And Thanos from the MCU.
Finally someone with some sense. How do you tolerate the idiots out here pointing fingers and hypocritically assuming everything about everyone around them? Constantly shouting monster or narcissist not realizing how selfish and narcissistic their accusations are? It's driving me mad.
What a great analytical breakdown, he’s truly a great despicable villain.
Lotso Bear Smell Of Fruits My Favorite Villain From Toy Story, He Wasn't A Villain Because He Wanted To Buy Because Of What Happened To Him And Good Video👍👏✌️🍓❤️
I feel so bad for lotso because he never wanted to hurt anyone. His heart was just broken.
I felt bad for him until he tried murdering the other toys to get power.
@@ms_cartographeryeah, he’s not someone you should feel sorry for, he’s a coward that used Woodys hat to frighten the toys to make them believe he had murdered him as a way to keep his power, god only knows what he did to that phone.
I think any toy would be bitter if they went through what he did
I just discovered your channel and let me say this: I am super glad that you treat every movie the same, regardless whether it’s live action or animation
His backstory was something of really depressing
I could imagine if Lotso returned, he'd probably come with a massive army of toys who were abandoned and abused like some kind of toy terrorist clan ruled by dictatorship dedicated to capturing and making other toys go through misery and even hurting children mentally and physically. To make this theory simple, Lotso, the leader of his own cult, would be Adolf Hitler and his army of totalitarian toys will be the Nazi Party.
With Pixar's luck if they made this into a movie, it could possibly lead to a rebellion against children and even a toy civil war!
I hope not, Woody.EXE could have been like him if i hadn’t saved him from being abandoned by a kid who abandoned their Woody years ago. He might’ve been traumatised but never let his grief on me, my 2009 Woody, my sister and Mummy. Woody.EXE cares for his people of Wales as the greatest reigning monarch
But How Lotso Couldn't Return Because Lotso's Actor Died
Lotso Huggin Bear looks like Wilford from Snowpiercer and Thanos from Avengers
Lotso used to be a good toy, and he smelled like strawberries. He was accidentally left behind by his owner Daisy, who got a replacement Lotso, and Lotso turned evil. He was gonna be my toy years ago, but no! After taking over Sunnyside as a leader, Lotso is also a prison warden and treats the other toys badly. One of Bonnie's toys, Mr. Picklepants called Lotso an evil bear who smells of strawberries.
Sad but true, bro. Btw, he reminds me of the song “Teddy Bear” by Melanie Martinez. That song fits him so well.
Chuckles explains the backstory to Woody Latso was owned by Daisy on Christmas day he was special to her they did everything together they took a drive and play at the park after daisy slept and never came to him as he returned and realized he was replaced as Woody found out about this that Latso lied to chuckles and big baby and took over the daycare for himself woody realizes if Latso couldn't have his former owner no one would and led them to an incinerator hinting his cruelty and cold hearted and soon got owned by a garbage man who had a hugging bear since he's a child Latso was owned by the garbage man with other stuffed animals on the grill of the truck he was never seen again as Woody explained he's not worth it to be trusted Latso was portrayed by the late Ned Beatty the actor died in 2021
I was so mad when Lotso betrayed the gang!
If only Daisy’s parents were competent enough to bring Daisy’s toys with her.
he truly is a perfect example of a pure evil character (along side Sauron)
Can a toy really BE a "meat" shield without flesh?
He was a very evil villain but he was a cold hearted villain
Can you do Dr. René Emile Belloq from Indiana Jones?
Given how vile he is, I would find absolutely no comfort in hugging this bear, strawberry smell be damned.
please cover Mother Gothel from Tangled
Lotso reminds me alot of Odin from God of War Ragnarok.
Do Shadow Weaver from She-Ra and The Princesses of Power, and Ma-Ma from Dredd.
Yeah Lotso makes the Prospector from Toy Story 2 look weak. He is a monster!
Poor lotso they accidentally replace him.
Can you do Mayor Tortoise John from Rango, King Candy/Turbo from Wreck-It Ralph, Mor’du from Brave, Pitch Black from Rise of the Gaurdians, The Green Death, Drago Bludfist, and Grimmel the Grisly from the How to train your Dragon Trilogy, Prince Hans from Frozen, Yokai/Professor Robert Callahagan from Big Hero 6, President/Lord business from The LEGO Movie, Mandrake from Epic, Villains from the Despicable Me and Minions franchises Gabby Gabby From Toy Story 4, Wilson Fisk/Kingpin from Spider-man Into the Spider-Verse, Dawn Bellwether from Zootopia, and Ernesto DE La Cruz from Coco.
Gabby Gabby and Lord Business are not villains
Depends on how you look at it.
What’s gotten into Lotso? We can’t have this Strawberry-scented beast standing in our way.
Pretty good observation.
I have some suggestions:
Thanos from the MCU
Claudandus from Felidae
Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean
4:20 That sounds like Kreese in Cobra Kai: Season 3.
please do constance from monster house
Lotso is better than the chameleon in kungfu panda 4
Any Toy Story villain is
This is similar to blood and Honey
2:57 that's exactly what woody said.
Another fun fact: lotso was supposed to be in toy story 1, but the animation wasn’t good enough so they changed it to a simple pink bear, lotso was saved for toy story 3
And could you also do a video of Frollo from “Hunchback of Notre Dame”?
If I'm being honest I was expecting more frome Lotso there could have been a big fight scene between Lostso and Woody where we could understand how Lotso would do in a fight physically
i would love to see you cover the villain from Digimon Last evolution, but anime isnt exactly what you seem to focus on.
And by the way, could you do an entry about Gaston from “Beauty and the Beast”?
Do Lotor from Voltron Legendary Defender and Fire Lord Ozai from Avatar last airbender
I feel like I have enough of Lotso,s lies too but I took care of him and I saw Stretch was feeling worried 😢 and upset 😭 even sad 😔 ness it well make her ran away off to find her new place and new home 🏡 and new owner from sunny 🌞 side day care and toys 🧸 and feel worried 😦 about stretch 🐙 and it’s me Akari Hudson
I remember being upset for Woody.EXE and after he told me his depressing story, I decided to take him on and he hasn’t left me since. Woody.EXE even made me his Queen and our coronation is in 18 days time. I wasn’t meant to be Queen but Woody.EXE made the right decision
So if Lotso just asked for help and support he wouldn’t have been evil.
Dats fax
A teddy being evil
Exactly
Ls in the chat for Lotso
It still doesn’t excuse what he did to Woody and the gang.
Sephiroth please
Could you do a video analysis of Sid Phillips from the original Toy Story?
I don’t think that’s very necessary
He’s literally just an 80s bully version of The Medic
How'd the rest of the movie have played out if Woody explained to Lotso that Daisy was only 5 and it was her parents who replaced him because she loves him so much? What if Hishe's version of the film was canon?
Tbh I get how he snapped like that, he and daisy shared bond and trust and even after all of that, he was replaced, so he just snapped, he did exactly what any other toy would have done and thats why lotso is my favorite villain in Pixar.
I like lotsso as a villain I hop to see gabby gabby frum toy story 4
background music?
Can you do more anime villains
He should've had a redemption arc in the incinerator scene, why'd he have to make the Aliens do something other than be comic relief
They could've been killed off and we could've celebrated
This is easily the worst take on this entire hellsite. Like it’s legit impressive how many levels of wrong you managed to cram into just two sentences
@@Faux_Sunlightmhm
Is it possible Lotso and Woody saw each other after Woody and his friends survived being incinerated?
I don’t think so Lotso never looked when the others came out of the garage
@@louistudor1086 he might’ve looked when the garbage truck drove past them
@@maxkelley2003 but he was talking to the others on the truck with him telling Lotso to hold his breath I don’t think looked while being drove passed by them
@@louistudor1086 when he held his breath he might’ve looked for a brief second
@@maxkelley2003 I have to watch the video again
This is basically why Jeffrey Dahmer became mean abandoned men
Part of me wants to feel bad for Lotso, but I just can't, even with his backstory, he's still a heartless tyrant who doesn't care about anyone!
Also, I was talking to my mom about the replacement scene and questioning it, and she came up with a theory that Daisy's parents replaced Lotso in order to protect her, because she loved Lotso so much, which I can definitely understand if that's the case.
He was sick in the head
there's a word despair in the name and the video is about an evil bear huh?
why this makes me think about that other evil Bear from the game known as Danganronpa trigger happy havoc
I have a request: Jasper from Steven Universe
Lotso is a big liar a bully an evil bear and he’s even the worst villain then stinky pee and gabby gabby
Do Ultron What if
He’s definitely a narcissist
I thought he was obsessive at first, but yeah he really just wanted to be treated more fair at the expense of anyone else. If he really wanted Daisy so much, he wouldn't have jumped the gun as quick as he did.
I don’t trust him one bit
Why are he and stinky Pete so bad
🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓
Lotso He is a terrible villain
Lotso’s not worth it.
