Because of the acoustic conditions of the place, the flute sounds like an organ. A great performance.

The ancient silence of the church, a humble red candle, your lovely elegant dress (so many flutists look ridiculous in their poofy, loud, or worse, over-revealing outfits.), and your own personal beauty and elegance. And finally, everything I just mentioned compliments your effortless mastery of the flute. Well done, good servant.

It is wonderful, what You are doing!!!! This work was the first number one, when I had been attentive, inspired for Bachs works. So very much only. I was one child, I hated the school. I was decided to be steamlocomotive driver. I come to home from the locomotive shedt, (engine house) I come to home, i stand beside of our big woodden barrel. We stored rainwater in it. I looked into the barrel, my sight reached the bottom of the old barrel, I took one flat stone, I put into the water.... The sediment stired up,. and I listened in my brain this piece playd by organ.!!!! In my brain only, no organ egsysted close to me... I started from one little source, and I was goin beside of the little stream, follow it. It has been one river, and I come to the sea... In my imagination, as a certainly one... I listened the music, what described for me this performance. Source, stream. wide river, and the sea... And I listened the music in my brain oinly!!! My mother was one talented singer, she got the invitation to learn by the Hungarian Music Accademy. I hadnt been able to learn one song only!!! My Mother was sad very much... So clicked I for one Bachs work, as one child with my 11 years! So I come to understanmd many works of Bach. I have been Bach fanatic, organ fanatic. I worked in Dresen, so I had many possibilities to listen the wonderful Silbermann organ in the Hofkirche... I had more tha 300 discs from classicers. One famous work playd by 10 performances... I know one organist, he playd on the big organ in the dom to Szeged. (Five manual, and pedal) He asserts the following. The music from Bach is clean matematic! I am one poetical spirit. I am happy to discover poetic in the music. Anyway am I tool and watchmaker, bicycle buildier, bicycle mechanician, and old age pansioner now. I have one grandchild now. With my maximal honour wish I the bests in this year too!

Was ist da los?
Und was macht Helena da?

      Translation from Google:
"When I listen to this game, tears come to my eyes. What's going on there? What do I hear that touches me like this? First of all, it's clear: this is a beautiful piece of music. It exudes a kindness and peace that is deeply beneficial. I love Bach, he has such an orderly way of creating complexity and beauty that appeals to my logical mind. Then there's the surprise that Helena plays this piece on a single metal tube. I never took the flute as an instrument seriously - I had no idea. That has now changed thoroughly. What a warm, soul-caressing sound escapes from this piece of craftsmanship! It is balm for my broken soul. And what is Helena doing there? She has the courage to stand alone with her instrument in an ancient sacred space and show us her art. She knows what she can do, she is self-confident. My wording suggests that she and her skills are central here - and that's true in a way as well. But her skills have matured so much that she does not force herself at all. In her playing, she becomes transparent in a way that makes the beauty and grace of the melody stand out. It seems to me that she is playing the piece as it was supposed to. Your whole mission serves only the piece. She is so brave, so central, so masterfully capable on her instrument, yet she subordinates herself to the play. She does not impose any peculiarities on him, but lets her speak for herself. This lack of vanity says a lot about them. I do not know her, and yet I mean to feel and see much of her. To play a piece so intimately requires in my imagination - I have no idea about music - the whole person, and that is also noticeable when listening. Listening here, I hear thousands of hours of passionate playing, but also countless hours of disciplined practice with frustration and despair. Here is a whole life contained, which presents us a wonderful piece of music. Thank you for this gift"

Blessings be to Ms. Schulthess for sharing this absolutely divine performance! I have a neurological disease that brings much pain daily and has begun its toll on cognition and memory. The joy of music still animates my entire being. I know it will be a comfort my entire journey.

Sounds phenomenal. That seems like a long piece for the flute without any rests. It must be tiring to play that long without mistakes.

Your mastery of the flute and the piece are matched by your mastery of the acoustics of the location. Thank you :-)
