      Loser... If you can make money by coding without grad certificate, why you keep begging in RUclips. You ain't programmer just a mere youtuber with less views.

    I could not agree more. As a famous character once said: 'the things you own end up owning you' and 'in order to gain anything you must lose everything'. When and only when you will leave your 'comfort zone' and spend long hours coding, you can achieve something. You must fully accept a fact that when you say YES to one activity, the same time, you say NO to the other. Ok, a full stop for coaching bull$shit, start chasing your dreams now and never look behind.

    What would you say is the best bootcamp or website to really start learning to code and what not? For like cybersecurity or software development

    The three keys are actually real. Shameless plugs aside. I have this badge holder from Jalalabad Afghanistan. It's my inspiration, my driving force.
    Key number 2 was easy for me... The hard part is finding that balance after. 7 years in, I'm still obsessed. I have to push myself to step away. I get all these ideas and I want to make them all come to life.
    Key number 3, for me, started as an interoffice score keeper for a game we played in predicting college football games. So it integrated with ESPN for real time information and had a place for users to make their picks, and a place for me to administrate users and schedules.
    You learn so much more when you build something that is actually used and you dont need to find motivation when its something you love.

    Oisko mtn videoo ja näkemystä miten AI, chatgpt ja vastaavat sovellukset tulee muuttamaan pelikenttää ja koodareiden työtilannetta? Sit täytyy huomioida että huiput työllistyy aina, mutta valitettavasti suurinosa ei voi olla huippuja. Lisäksi Suomen IT-markkinassa ei kovin montaa "entry level" tason työpaikkoja ole ja niihin mitä sattuu olemaan tulee 3 numeroinen määrä hakemuksia.

    Third but btw can we earn as a game dev

    • @christopherpetree2208
      @christopherpetree2208 4 месяца назад

      I think earning potential has negligible differences than the market for game devs. But what I have heard is that the quality of life for game devs is much worse.
      The speed in which people expect brand new games is crazy fast and if you're trying to update engines, etc. Fixing bugs of previous games. It's tough.
      But here's the thing, it's his third point. If game development is what appeals to you and why you want to learn, earning and "quality of life" shouldn't be a deterrent. 14 hour shifts and hot bunking should be what you look forward to because then you can say, I helped build that.
      If the earning is what you're after then you'll never get there. Because you have to get good and do a LOT of free coding to get there. Years.

    Getting started definitely is the hardest part . So much information out there , one thing I would recommend people NOT DO! Do not take Udemy courses . They are boring , and outdated . So many great courses on here for free. Great video !

      @@ShredzZ Plus, there are free Udemy courses and the sales are frequent. Personally, I'm going for the free Harvard courses, though.
