My kids went to school 20 min away from the Santa Fe, TX shootings. I remember picking them up and not wanting to let them go. People are quick to say leave and find somewhere else to live and it's not that easy. KIDS DO NOT DESERVE THIS! I'm so sick of seeing children be hurt and scared to go to school. I live in Germany now due to military and I have decided to stay here and my kids are thriving and no longer afraid to go to school. My heart goes out to the families who lost a loved one in this tragedy and all of the previous ones as well. We need to do better.
The backpack had me tearing up The idea of small children having to protect themselves with armour just to go to school is heartbreaking I'm a Mum of three boys and my heart breaks for those beautiful babies lost. PS: happy birthday to your Nonna
It's heartbreaking. I honestly cannot process the amount of pain Americans constantly go through when it comes to school shootings. So, so tragic... the debate is way too important, these days more than ever. Special hug to you guys, am based in the UK and I hope you manage to visit us more often! The Blackheath home is dreeeeamy! ❣️ x
WoW 91 years…Amazing. 🎉❤ Precious moments never to be forgotten by your children 😊 How sad to be parents in America from that perspective. Hugs from Canada 🇨🇦
Crying along with you guys- there was a mass shooting at the university I go to, and sometimes I feel guilty being alive and getting a degree, while other college kids died getting the same education I am trying to get. Not fair and I agree there are so many things to be done about it. Thank you for putting the message out there because it is something that NEEDS to be shared and talked about more.
I love it when people tell you to go live somewhere else. Even if you could drop everyone and did leave, that’s not going to solve the problem. Just tragic all around. 😢
It’s terrifying being a parent in this country…enough has to be enough at some point. There is a nationwide school walkout April 5th. I donate to moms demand action as well. It’s hard to not feel helpless but we can fight for change.
As a canadian who has moved to the UK... you are right. It is not simple to just say hey let's move and just do it.. there are many steps that it takes to do so..... ❤❤ you guys need to do what is right for your family and that's all that matters... Anyone that looks up to you guys will understand that...
Definitely agree its hard to move, I just have to offer a different perspective. I was born in the UK, now live in Canada. My 2 nieces at 6&4 years old were killed by a drunk driver. My sister blames herself, and will continue to blame herself for the rest of her life. 'Why didn't I stop for the ice cream they wanted? Why didn't I take the other way home?'. When you lose a child it's the worst type of grief. There's nothing worse. Losing parents, grandparents, partners, etc is extremely hard. Losing your child is a million times harder. So yes, there are steps to take to move. But you can make a living doing anything, you can't bring a child back. I have a different perspective because of my experience, and just wanted to share. The world will continue to look on in horror as US politicians sacrifice American children. RIP sweet babies 💔
I was holding it together until the photos at the end. It is so unbelievably heartbreaking that this has happened yet again in the US, & as a Brit I will never understand the gun culture over there. The fact that a bullet proof backpack is even a thing is mind blowing to me. I cannot begin to imagine what your community is going through right now, & I’m sure I speak for everyone here in the UK when I say that we are sending you so much love & prayers. Rest in peace to those beautiful babies & their heroic teachers ❤🙏
My emotions are right there with you. ❤ I feel powerless and I don't know how this will change, but it needs to. I'm desperate for those in power to finally take action. Thank you for taking the time to share how you're both feeling.
I'm so glad you guys brought up the shooting and are talking about it openly because a lot of people are scared to talk about it or want to brush it off. I just don't get how people can see all this happening DAILY and not want to try to do something to help or be angry about the fact that the people that can do something aren't working to fix this. Of course people are considering leaving the US, people are considering taking their children out of school, but this is not something that everyone has the means to do. You can be on the "other side" of this all you want, but EVERYONE has to realize that what we are doing right now (aka nothing) is not fixing anything! Nothing will change if we don't at least try. Everyone needs to get out and vote. Everyone needs to take a look at the people in power who are doing nothing to change things and decide if those are really the people they want in power. This is a big reason why I refuse to have children. I can't put them through this.
I live in New Zealand and can't even imagine wat parents go through sending their kids to school I have a 4 year old daughter I am soooo sorry for all the parents and teachers that were affected and to the ones that have lost their lives 💔
I literally moved to Nashville the day before. My heart breaks for my new community and change needs to happen. No one is safe anywhere anymore and it’s so sad and heartbreaking
I found you guys on TikTok doing silly videos and have been so blown away by the compassion and genuine realness you continue to show here. You’re wonderful people and parents and I’m happy you care so much to change what is so wrong here. Thank you for that. It’s refreshing to know people in any sort of spotlight want to fight for change to protect others.
I'm a high school teacher in Wisconsin and unfortunately we had a really scary close call in February, but thanks to quick action of a teacher and a student speaking up everyone in the school was kept safe. My students and I were so lucky. We need to do better.
Thank you for speaking out and sharing your feelings. I am a Kindergarten teacher, and the continuation of these shootings scares the daylights out of me. Love you two and your family! It needs to get better! ❤
Homeschooling is so much different than what we think, we assume there is no social life but it's kind of a myth that prevents parents from truly giving it a chance. Once you connect with homeschoolers in your area it becomes the best decision in the 🌎🌎❤❤
Instead of homeschooling, pass gun laws! Is this what we want: all of us locked away in our own little safe spaces? Just so folks can have their stash of weapons?
My heart breaks for every single child that goes to school in America. I live in the UK. I can walk my 3yr old to school knowing that he'll be safe. He doesn't need safety drills on active shooters, he doesn't need a backpack that can protect him from bullets, his teachers don't need to keep a gun in their desk. It's so heartbreaking that this is still a thing, that the people in charge aren't seeing these little babies dying and thinking enough is enough. What would it take? One of their babies to get shot and murdered?
It’s really such a heartbreaking situation and I cannot imagine feeling of dropping your kids off at school not knowing if something is going to happen because it happens so often. You are so, so right you shouldn’t just move. Why should people have to move when it’s such an easy thing the government can fix. It won’t change overnight but the change HAS to happen. People should be able to live where they want and build a life with their children. Violence is everywhere but Josh you are right, mass school shootings is a culture and it needs to end. Stay safe all of you and know that your amazing parents who will always keep your children safe, happy and healthy. Sending a world of hugs and love your way. From Australia 🇦🇺❤️❤️
😢 Absolutely terrible. America needs to get their act together on this issue. My heart breaks for the families, students and teachers. 💔 Sending ❤ from 🇨🇦
I have 3 children, my oldest just turned 4 and I am terrified to send her to school. My heart is so shattered from all of these horrific acts. What do we do, I’m looking at my daughter with tears in my eyes. The worst pain a human could ever experience is losing a child.. Something MUST be done. America the beautiful and land of the free, in reality has turned into a dark and scary place where people are free to own weapons that are simply meant to kill. Our mental health crisis is only going to get worse, now as parents we are going to suffer anxiety and mental health issues simply by sending our children to school. Please if you find any resources that we can all join in on to ACT please share because I’m at a hopeless and complete loss. 💔💔💔
I’m from Australia and I’m so so sorry! I feel so helpless but am sending you so much love and prayer from this side of the world. Why are the politicians not doing anything?!! I hope that something changes ASAP for the better to save the babies in this world! 🙏🏼
I instantly thought of you guys when I heard the news of the shooting. My heart is absolutely heartbroken for all of those families. I screamed at the top of my lungs "NOT AGAIN" when I heard the news. Keep the fight going!! Get these damn guns banned!!!!
This is was so upsetting to watch. I can’t imagine what it’s like to send your child to school with the worry that this might happen. I’m from England and 100% stand with you guys and would love to help in anyway I can. Sending you love x x x
Teacher from Australia here. I can’t imagine what it feels like for the staff and children in any US school. Heartbroken for the country. I love America for so many reasons but guns need to go.
Thank you so much Shenae and Josh for sharing this very important message. I’m from Australia and really don’t understand why there are still gun laws in America. Well, laws like they still have. It breaks my heart EVERY SINGLE TIME I hear about yet another mass shooting in America. PLEASE SHENAE AND JOSH start a petition to rid America of those gun laws, so your babies can be safe going to school 😢
Been following your channel for a while and thought of your family as soon as I heard of the shooting. My heart breaks for your community. Definitely been hugging my baby that little bit tighter when he finishes school each day. Sending love from the UK xx
I'm so sorry you guys have to go through this 😢 As a Canadian mama, I feel so blessed that I can send my kids to school/daycare and know they are coming home safely that evening. Our children don't even know the lockdown drills these poor children in America do. I agree with what Josh said about mental health issues are in the UK and Canada and we don't have mass shootings. It's true, we know what the problem is and something has to be done 😔
Unfortunately even if there are any changes it’s just not soon enough. I honestly think this is a running away situation. Moving should be #1 priority. I’m not saying that lightly I know like you said it’s extremely hard but it’s life or death situation now. It’s so so so so sad
French girl here living in the UK, just wanted to say that I am sorry and that on this side of the pond when we hear about mass shootings in America, especially in schools, it hurts too. We talk about it and can't really understand why this keeps happening over and over and over again and NOTHING is done to put an end to this. Whether it's banning guns or investing in mental health, i don't know, but there's so much to do. I remember seeing a tweet from an American after Uvalde asking if people from foreign countries were consciously deciding NOT to travel to the US because of the gun violence. My personal opinion, especially as a woman of colour, is ABSOLUTELY. Every time I'm in the US I am very much aware that any time I step outside, that could be it. How crazy is that? This country needs more than thoughts and prayers (grandson put it better than that in his song) it needs action. Once and for all.
So lovely you could spend time with your family in Canada and celebrate your Nonna, 91 is an amazing age! Absolutely heartbreaking about the shootings.
From a Canadian living in Canada I want to thank you for both of your perspectives from you guys living in the US and being from England and Canada. I will never understand why the US as a country put more value in guns than in human lives.
It’s not easy. I couldn’t even imagine sending my kiddo to school in the US now. I homeschool for other reasons and my kiddo has more of a social life now than she did when in school. Extracurricular activities, lots of field trips with other homeschool families, volunteering… there are so many more ways to get the socialization besides traditional school. Homeschool co-ops, pods, meet ups… it’s quite easy to homeschool once you have figured out what works for your family. With all the traveling your family does, there are so many opportunities to turn those trips into something educational whether it be history lessons, geography, art museums, theatre… the list is endless.
I cant stop crying. I live in Quebec, Canada and feel so powerless and deeply sad yet angry at this nonsense. Thank you for sharing, thank you for using your voice to make changes. You talking about Bowie going to school with a bulletproof backpack literally broke my heart. If you have links or ideas of what we can do outside of the US to help, please share 🫶🏻🤍
Here we have gun laws but a guy drove his bus into a kindergarten a couple weeks ago and killed a bunch of kids… people are sick. We need more mental health support EVERYWHERE! I dont know what we are waiting for… im so mad 💔
Happy Sunday to you and your family ❤️ All these shootings at every school in America have to stop and I TRULY hope this country gets it together on the issue at hand. My heart breaks for every teacher, every student and every family 😢 absolutely terrible My love goes to you all during this unfortunate time... and on a positive note, happy birthday to your Nonna🎉🎂
It’s so hard to watch what is happening in the US. As a Canadian living in France, I agree with you. There are just as many mental health issues both in Canada and in France as there are in the US. But these mass school shootings are not happening here. It’s so incredibly frustrating not to be able to protect your own kids and feeling so helpless. My heart breaks for American families.
I cannot imagine falling in entirely in love with my child - birthing them, devoting myself to them and giving them everything possible emotionally and physically - to have them taken away in such a horrific circumstance. It’s heart-wrenching and sickening. So, so sad for the parents.
This is super sad. We had a tragedy in our state about a month in a half ago. Gun violence needs to stop. Actually I've coworkers that went there luckily they were safe!
This is absolutely heartbreaking , we live in uk we are very lucky we don’t have gun crime here but never stops you worrying , no kids or parents should have to worry about things like this , really needs to be stopped 😞 xxx
It’s horrible. I’m in the uk and it still breaks me every time. I cannot imagine fearing sending my child to school. And the angering part of it all is that people excuse guns saying it’s constitutional, but the guns that are killing all these children and people didn’t even exist when it was written, the guns they were writing about were ones that held a single bullet that took like 5 minutes to reload… in the UK it’s like saying a knife is the same as spoon.
Thank you for using your platform in such a compassionate way. We're well past the point of thoughts and prayers, but sending them to your community all the same while also demanding action. People should be able to feel safe in their communities. This can't continue to be part of American culture.
Totally agree with josh, mental health issue is everywhere. People with tendency to do harm and violence is also everywhere in the world. Im not saying that mental health issue is not important, in fact its a serious problem that needs to be addressed and hope to be able to help those who struggle. But based on facts, only in America that mass shootings at school happen just like a regular thing wether mental health is the factor or not. Its very sad that school shootings happen so so often. Its hard for all of us sending our kids to school in hope they will experience school to the fullest like we did back then, but now we send them with so much worry and fear. Homeschooling might be the answer for some but not for all parents. Really hope that theres an end to this, for the sake of our kids and the rest of our future generations. This is so unfair :(
A few yrs ago, I received a call from my son’s school saying a student had reported shots fired so the school was placed on lock down immediately. Police were called & r on scene. We ask that all parents stay home but we couldn’t just sit at home not knowing what was going on. By the time we got to the school, there were many parents already there. The school was blocked off w tape. It was the scariest few hrs of my life. Thank God it turned out to b nothing but I still get emotional to this day. NO parent should have to go thru this. It needs to STOP!
In my city a few months ago there were 2 shootings within a week and 1 of them was at the highschool I had always talked about wanting to send my daughter when she's older. Between the shootings, how rapidly women are losing rights (esp in our part of the country), and the fact that I cannot get the health care I desperately need right now, I would give anything to be able to move away but it's just not possible for us.
Must admit as soon as I heard about this terrible event i thought of you as I knew it was in an area that must be fairly near to you, thankful you are all ok but so sad for the families of those individuals. I was relieved to see on Instagram that you were ok, Such a terrible tragedy, again. It’s such a sad awful awful thing to happen. X
Shenae and Josh, thank you for using your platform for important change. Voting is so important! You might also want to contact activist Sophia Bush, she has done lots of work in this space and might have insight into the most effective ways to make change. Sending your wonderful family love ❤❤
We had a school shooting in our school district back in 2019. We have 5 high schools in the district. It wasn’t at my daughters school but her school was on lockdown. She’s texting me saying they think it’s a copy cat at her school. Telling me she loved me. It’s so traumatizing and heartbreaking. It’s scary that no one in government seems to care about our kids. Praying for everyone🙏🏽
Heartbreaking. I saw Melissa Joan Hart helped kids in the area during the shooting. Was sad to think she was a childhood icon - Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and how times have changed that now she was helping kids during a school shooting. Stay safe. If everyone who cared left America, there would be no reason to change.
Thank you for using your platform to talk about this. As a Canadian that has no idea how it feels to fear for your child's life the way, you do across the border...I am so deeply sorry. Can't we all agree to protect the fucken children??!!!
First…..not ready to watch a s had bad day myself but will settle with cuppa tomorrow & watch from UK. Each day is a new day. Things can only get better. Keep smiling Shenae xxx❤
🇨🇦 here. My son-in-law was offered a promotion to the USA. My daughter said not happening for the very reason you discussed. They would be mental cases worrying about sending their kids to school. 😢
I also live in Nashville and have a 4 year old. Let’s do something. I know God is good but praying for these souls is not enough and I do not feel like I am doing enough. What else can we do to protect our children and our neighbors?
Your kids will NOT be deprived of socialization if you homeschool unless you the parents don’t get involved with other homeschool meetups. With social media though, there’s zero excuse for anyone to not be involved with local homeschool groups. This week alone we went on 2 field trips, one to to the fire station with a homeschool group of over 40 people, and another to an ice cream shop where they showed us how they made their ice cream with nitrogen. Then we went to the park every day with some homeschool friends except today because it was cold and windy lol Next week we are going to the homeschool open gymnastics that’s only $5 per kid to meet up with some friends, Friday with have a geography fair with a homeschool group where my son picked Italy and other kids picked different states/countries. I’m involved in 3 different homeschool groups on Facebook where there is ALWAYS something going on, plus parks exists so if there isn’t a field trip that day we go to the park and meet friends. I am socially awkward and shy so I have a hard time getting the motivation to go to these things but I do it anyway because my kids obviously need to be around other children. I truly feel like public school kids are barely socialized anyway, they have a short period of recess and lunch period is so short that they have to shove all their food into their mouths at once. If you talk to a friend in class, you’re yelled at, if you struggle with any type of learning disability you are bullied, you are forced to learn at the same rate as everyone else, and judged based off of your grades. I guarantee if you type in your area followed by “homeschoolers” on Facebook, you will find many, many groups.
Great video. As a parent I just don’t understand why you would even want to raise your kids in the US if you have other options (Canada & the UK). My family and I are about to relocate to Alberta because enough is enough.
There are no words really. I don't know what to say. I live in Toronto and gun violence is up in high schools but no mass shootings, but I'm sure people see the news and get ideas so who knows what might happen. It's another pandemic. People buy guns - they only need one. I'm so sorry for the kids and adults who continue to lose their lives, and obviously it is extremely hard when it happens so close to home. So many mixed emotions in the shock of it all. I wonder how many people will refuse to send their kids to school - many wont have that option. Big hugs to you, and your community, and there is no choice while processing this nightmare but to continue doing what you do, loving your kids and each other, and fighting the good fight. And yes, what the hell are 'they' waiting for? How many more people have to die! They don't seem to be able to answer that question 😕 😢
Hi, Shenae and Happy Sunday!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀💙💙💙💙💙🌷💖💖💖💖💖🎇👍. I hope you had fun on the photoshoot with your two beautiful kids. They're so cute!😍😍. Also, in 2005, my best friend, Erica talks about school shootings. This was the scariest situation that I've ever seen. They close the classroom door, locked it and hide their desks. And in 2006, my best friend got shot on her first day of college. Her name was Asia and...she was my best friend.😢😢.
As a french person, i cant possibly understand the "love" americans have for guns... second amendment i get it, but some things are more important, like the safety of your kids, laws can be changed, lives cannot be brought back.... and hearing about a bullet proof backpack just .... wow .... i have no words.... crazy ...
It is happening here in 🇨🇦 especially Toronto. But it’s happens less frequently. It is horrible that guns even exist and people use them to harm others. There is so much pain and suffering and we need more resources and kindness and love for one another. We are all humans and there is no room for hate. My heart bleeds for these families and those who are left to make sense of it. May there be more supports and love that gets injected into this world.
there are no mass shootings in canada lol, there might be a dumb kid that brings a school to gun because they think their cool but they dont bring guns to class and start firing at people....
Thank you for speaking about it. I also feel helpless and I have two kids around same age as your babies. It’s heartbreaking. It infuriates me how much people have been brainwashed by media that it’s not the guns. It’s common sense. No other weapon could cause the amount of loss of life like a machine gun would.
Thank you for reminding folks that their vote matters. Voting will be the number one action in moving forward to change this American problem of mass school shootings. I am a Canadian living in California and now dual citizenship allows me to vote here. In 2022, over 1 million immigrants became naturalized citizens - and they are all voting in 2024. I haven’t been watching your channel for very long, but I am sending you all love, light, and strength to guide your children through these awful and traumatic moments. 💕
As a Canadian mom I've often said idk how anyone in the US is able to send their kids to school. I know they have no choice but that choice would be paralyzing to me. After a school shooting in the US I'm scared to send them to school and I'm 4 hours north of Toronto.... I hope change happens in the US something needs to happen. Xo
I have no kids but my sister is a .school teacher and I worry every day if something like this will happen to her. We need stricter guidelines when purchasing guns, they are way yo accessible. I hate to say it but I feel nothing is ever going to happen until a politician's child is either hurt or in a school shooting. This will make someone who can create change do something. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR THAT TO HAPPEN! I am willing to try and create change in any way possible. This is not just a mental health issue we have to get control if the type of guns being sold and to who.
As a Brit it is so hard to grasp the American obsession with guns, it’s not normal to be able to buy a bulletproof backpack let alone select what weapons you want to stop. I cannot comprehend it, I feel so much pain for parents sending their kids to school in the US, as Josh will know it’s not something that we here in the UK ever have to worry about. I send my prayers to everyone affected, no idea what we can do across the pond but happy to help any way I can. God rest all their gentle souls ❤
Nonna looks absolutely amazing what's her secret!😍 I'm in the UK 🇬🇧and my heart broke for the families affected. Your tears echoed all the way here what an absolute tragedy. I have 2 young boys and can't even imagine. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like it will change anything..... Ps: I love NYC my sister and kids live there and they still wouldn't leave as they built their lives there x
Thank you so much for speaking up about this uniquely American problem. I’m very glad your sweet Bowie is ok. The Sandy Hook children would be the same age as my son if they hadn’t been killed. We have had two attempts at school shootings in my son’s district in the last year. I live in West Virginia where gun laws are also very permissive so I want change before it’s too late. I post a lot on Facebook but most people around here are either pro gun or they have just become desensitized. I am going to get more involved with local groups to see how I can make a difference. God bless you and your family!
So much change needs to happen and yet nobody ever makes the changes. Before columbine happened, I wrote to my senator when I was 14 and asked for better gun control. He did write me back and said guns aren’t the problem, people are. Yes, people and mental health are the problem, but guns escalate it to these level of killings. No matter if you own guns etc, we should all agree that the protection and safety of our babies should override everything else❤❤❤❤
People are the problem but America is the only country where the mentally I’ll or mega angry can get hold of assault rifles and kill people. We all have people with mental health issues but here in the UK they cannot get hold of guns. Your senator needs to get his head out of the sand
Let’s do this together. I live in Idaho and my granddaughter was at the Boise Towne Square Mall when the mass shooting happened there. Thank God she is ok but she is petrified to go to the mall. She was 17 at the time and is now 19 in college up in the area where the students were murdered. Whatever we need to do lets figure it out.
Thank you both for speaking about the mass shooting and encouraging us all to speak and do something about it! It must stop!
My heart goes out to the families who lost a loved one in this tragedy and all of the previous ones as well. We need to do better.
Might as well throw in future ones 😢
as a British person it angers me that American politicians think your right to a gun is more important than children's lives makes no sense
The backpack had me tearing up
The idea of small children having to protect themselves with armour just to go to school is heartbreaking
I'm a Mum of three boys and my heart breaks for those beautiful babies lost.
PS: happy birthday to your Nonna

I live in New Zealand and can't even imagine wat parents go through sending their kids to school I have a 4 year old daughter I am soooo sorry for all the parents and teachers that were affected and to the ones that have lost their lives 💔
I literally moved to Nashville the day before. My heart breaks for my new community and change needs to happen. No one is safe anywhere anymore and it’s so sad and heartbreaking
I don’t know anyone who lives in Tennessee but when I heard of the tragedy, I immediately thought of you all. Stay safe. Sending love from Canada ❤.
Thank goodness 🙏🙏
Absolutely heartbreaking. I will never understand why this keeps happening. 😢 💔
You both have so much empathy. Your beautiful hearts match perfectly 🤍
Once you connect with homeschoolers in your area it becomes the best decision in the 🌎🌎❤❤
🎉
Instead of homeschooling, pass gun laws! Is this what we want: all of us locked away in our own little safe spaces? Just so folks can have their stash of weapons?
That is not a solution though
My heart breaks for every single child that goes to school in America. I live in the UK. I can walk my 3yr old to school knowing that he'll be safe. He doesn't need safety drills on active shooters, he doesn't need a backpack that can protect him from bullets, his teachers don't need to keep a gun in their desk. It's so heartbreaking that this is still a thing, that the people in charge aren't seeing these little babies dying and thinking enough is enough. What would it take? One of their babies to get shot and murdered?
Such an important conversation! Thank you to you both, I’m a teacher in the UK and I’m incredibly thankful I work in the UK. Heart breaking.
All of you are such wonderful people. Thank you for your message at the end. It is so incredibly true and needs to be said/heard.
Wishing for everyone’s safety and mental health. It’s devastating
This is was so upsetting to watch. I can’t imagine what it’s like to send your child to school with the worry that this might happen. I’m from England and 100% stand with you guys and would love to help in anyway I can. Sending you love x x x
Thank you for sharing about this. You are 100% right. America needs change NOW!
I appreciate this video. You both are so correct and empathetic. Something needs to change.
Much love to all of you from Canada 💗🙏🏻🇨🇦
Breaks my heart. Let’s make a change. Hugs.
Y’all are so right and I pray that my daughter is safe when she’s in school
Best use of your platform! ❤ incredibly motivated to make a change from the UK.
My heart breaks just hearing this. No parent should be this nervous about theri kids going to school. I am so so sorry. Hugs to you all
It warms my heart to see you spend so much time with Nona 🤍 time is so precious
It’s so tragic what’s happening in the US. As a Canadian we are so close but worlds apart. So sad for the children of America
So lovely you could spend time with your family in Canada and celebrate your Nonna, 91 is an amazing age!
Absolutely heartbreaking about the shootings.
:( I really respect you for talking about it, I inmediatly thought of you when I heard :(
💔💔💔💔 I’m homeschooling bc I’m scared, it’s so hard either way. My heart goes out to you guys from Texas ❤️
From a Canadian living in Canada I want to thank you for both of your perspectives from you guys living in the US and being from England and Canada. I will never understand why the US as a country put more value in guns than in human lives.
Thank you for speaking on the shooting. We need to stop acting like a normal thing and just “another shooting”
I homeschooled my 2 girls. They were never deprived of socialization. The shooting is a tragedy.
Happy Sunday to you and your family ❤️
All these shootings at every school in America have to stop and I TRULY hope this country gets it together on the issue at hand. My heart breaks for every teacher, every student and every family 😢 absolutely terrible
My love goes to you all during this unfortunate time... and on a positive note, happy birthday to your Nonna🎉🎂
Shenae your words broke me. This has got to stop, idk why this is still or ever has been an issue. It should be a no brainer!
Nonna looks amazing for 91. Oh my gosh! I was looking around the video waiting for her to come on screen and she was already there!
Sending you hugs and prayers 😢
This is so unfair :(
😢 heartbreaking for all parties involved. It blows my mind that it's become so common place and almost part of the culture.
Just to add to your points Sheanae and Josh "Evil triumphs when good people do nothing".
Then we went to the park every day with some homeschool friends except today because it was cold and windy lol
Next week we are going to the homeschool open gymnastics that’s only $5 per kid to meet up with some friends, Friday with have a geography fair with a homeschool group where my son picked Italy and other kids picked different states/countries.
As a french person, i cant possibly understand the "love" americans have for guns... second amendment i get it, but some things are more important, like the safety of your kids, laws can be changed, lives cannot be brought back.... and hearing about a bullet proof backpack just .... wow .... i have no words.... crazy ...
The overwhelming amount of people I know want gun reform. I will never understand people choosing guns over children.
There have been ZERO school mass shootings in Toronto.
Thank you for speaking about it. I also feel helpless and I have two kids around same age as your babies. It’s heartbreaking. It infuriates me how much people have been brainwashed by media that it’s not the guns. It’s common sense. No other weapon could cause the amount of loss of life like a machine gun would.
i felt your pain and i cried :'( idk what to say other than i am soo sorry
Thank you for reminding folks that their vote matters. Voting will be the number one action in moving forward to change this American problem of mass school shootings. I am a Canadian living in California and now dual citizenship allows me to vote here. In 2022, over 1 million immigrants became naturalized citizens - and they are all voting in 2024. I haven’t been watching your channel for very long, but I am sending you all love, light, and strength to guide your children through these awful and traumatic moments. 💕
I’m glad I’m in Australia
As a Canadian mom I've often said idk how anyone in the US is able to send their kids to school. I know they have no choice but that choice would be paralyzing to me. After a school shooting in the US I'm scared to send them to school and I'm 4 hours north of Toronto.... I hope change happens in the US something needs to happen. Xo
Heartbreaking
I have no kids but my sister is a .school teacher and I worry every day if something like this will happen to her. We need stricter guidelines when purchasing guns, they are way yo accessible. I hate to say it but I feel nothing is ever going to happen until a politician's child is either hurt or in a school shooting. This will make someone who can create change do something. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR THAT TO HAPPEN! I am willing to try and create change in any way possible. This is not just a mental health issue we have to get control if the type of guns being sold and to who.
🖤🖤🖤
