When I was in Bath couple of months ago, on a gloomy day, took an open tour bus as it drove through the town, dashing against the tree branches as it got chillier in the evening, wind blowing, aaahhh such an amazing place. The uniformly beige colored buildings have captured a moment in time and it is at a standstill. A safe haven for the Romantics.
I have never related more to your feelings about morphing a place into a person in your imagination, I’ve just moved to Beijing after years of watching content about it online. Your environment 100% changes you and learning to love spending time alone is such a marker of your own growth! Loved this as usual, marking bath down on my list of places to revisit (it’s so nice to see how the UK is so beautiful from a tourist perspective!!)
thank you so much for your comment :')) i can only imagine how surreal it feels to actually MOVE to a foreign country and i'm so glad you get to experience it!
Got this video recommended to me and, wow. I love the editing style of this video. I haven't been to Bath in a decade, and I was there last month for an event. Really magical place.
I had a very mature in age shall we say, father , who actually played violin with his band in the Pump Rooms in the 1920s! So it was great to see thank you :)
Just reading sense and sensibility for the first time. Love your video - I like the way you have inserted lots of bits of history and information in there. Stayed in bath once and really loved the whole place.
I live in Bath, and your lovely video provides a faithful reflection of the City, particularly from a culturally inclined visitor perspective. You seemed to be very much in the right place for you. Great Job. 👏
You should go at Christmas time, I went a couple of years ago. The abbey is lit up with Christmas lights and there are lots of stalls selling food, gifts etc, 100% recommend this 😀
Love your comments about feeling different according to place you are in, and yet being always you. Yes, this is known as non duality, the self and the environment are one, and people are capable of experiencing many aspects of each others lives, this is known as empathic connection … thanks for sharing, enjoy your travels … return home with new perspectives, how marvellous, wondrous even.
My current read is Sense and Sensibility. This video randomly popping up on my home page, for me to see the place Jane Austen lived and experienced, is the best feeling. You are reading the same book as well. What a coincidence. Thank you for this special video.
I live just outside Bath I would have loved to show you around this beautiful city I hope you managed to see the central victoria park and royal crescent x
I don’t know why this video came up on my recommendations but I’m glad it did, Bath is beautiful and this video is beautiful. I’ve only been to Bath once, we stopped for a short visit while we were driving to Cornwall and Devon. I will have to go back, and not be afraid to go by myself.
Beautifully edited video. I'm from the UK and have visited most of the popular touristy places including London, Oxford, Cambridge, the Cotswolds as well as several towns and cities in the North of England and Scotland but have never visited Bath. I did plan to visit when attending a track day at the Castle Coombe motor racing circuit which is quite near Bath but ran out of time. Will have to visit soon as it does look lovely. Not sure where in the US you are from but love your accent.
thank you! the only other place in england i've visited so far is london, and i'd have to say that I prefer Bath just a bit more- definitely try to visit if you ever have the chance. and thank you, i've never had anyone compliment my accent before haha!
The Crystal Palace Pub, which appears several times in your video, was Admiral Lord Nelson's favourite when he lived in Bath. He even lodged there once.
Glad you had a great time here, i live 30/40 min north from Bath and id kill to live there, but its sooo expensive! You need to see Bath at christmas 🎄 the markets busy but amazing. Just a quick fyi now- i could be wrong, but i'm 99.999 % sure you had RAREBIT not rabbit ....The pump rooms menu calls it "chedder rarebit with a spiced onion cutney." Rarebit or Welsh rabbit is a dish of hot cheese sauce, often including ale, mustard, or Worcestershire sauce, served on toasted bread. The origins of the name are unknown, though the earliest recorded use is 1725 '-- In reality its just fancy cheese on toast 😋 no bunnys were harmed lol
oh my gosh that makes complete sense HAHA i was wondering why the texture of the "rabbit" was so different from any meat I had ever had before!! now i can live a little easier knowing i didn't eat a bunny rabbit
thank you! I went to the pump room at 14:00 (I booked my table the night before online) and here is the link to the wonderful airbnb: www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/53441221?source_impression_id=p3_1730719074_P3uFWxPCMu7TG8Tx i would absolutely recommend both!

Don’t try this when Bath Rugby are playing. You forgot the traffic issues as well!
Did you have Welsh rarebit or rabbit…that’s a type of a cheese toasty..?
This was wonderful and beautiful. Please make your fonts larger.
