- Juancho Hernangomez's NBA journey has come to a halt. After 350 games spanning seven years, this basketball wanderer is bidding farewell to the grand stage and returning to the familiar courts of Europe. But before he embarks on his new adventure, let's delve into the story of why Juancho's NBA career turned out to be a bust.

Playing for 7 years in the NBA is not a bust
Thats what i thought
Getting kicked out of NBA at only 28 years old is a bust.
@@johndong7524 oh well he took Euroleague the second strongest cup
@@JoyMadrugada Maybe, but he was too young to retire from the NBA, which can only mean one thing, he wasn't cutting it there any longer.
@@johndong7524 At any case some players arent for NBA and some others arent for Europe (ps google celebrations of Hernagomez with Panathinaikos Champion cup and watch what i am talking about )
this is the problem with people who only look at stats. did yall even watch his raptors games when all the starters were injured? juancho was starting regularly and was commended all the time about being great at cutting
and then when everyone was back from their injury he was still starting but barnes and all the usual starters were having a tantrum about being outshined and not getting their usual minutes, so juancho being his unselfish-self seemed to have stepped aside and was forced to not outplay those selfish player crybabies.
imo raptors killed juancho's confidence, he was supposed to be on fire after eurobasket. an nba team with a team playing system needs to give him another chance instead of teams with coaches like nick nurse who doesn't even have a bench mob and just exhausts their starters for 40mins a game.
Raptors? ah...the shitty team that kawhi dump. when KL was trade to the raps everyone cried foul specially lousy lowry but when KL reeled them to the top everyone including the fans want to lick his balls.
Playing 7 years in the NBA is no where close to being a “bust” and the fact he’s still balling too. Sure he’s not a NBA player but his career is far from over.
He can shine in more team oriented systen like the Spurs or the Warriors
Hey i thought adam sandler fixed this dude's issues?
I dont watch basketball but once i saw that this was the guy that played as Bo i searched him up immediately 😂
That’s js a movie Adam Sandler didn’t literally help him
Same. Just kidding.
Yeah, but when he got into the league he was on a different team
Yeah no shit@@thatvocalmaster4676
Jokic would love to have him back in Denver so they could play Fifa and hangout. He would not be that helpful in terms of basketball but may help keep Jokic in good spirits.
He and Jok had pretty good chemistry. For whatever reason when I went and saw a Nuggets game during that time we would A) Lose and B) Juancho would have a good game.
Yeah, Juancho said that Jokic was his best friend with the Nuggets
NBA play style doesn't suit him much like other Euro league stars. That doesn't mean he's not as skilled as NBA players but the NBA is still a business and prioritizes the entertaining level of play than effective plays.
NBA isnt basketball
@@vamoneygroupNBA is not basketball??! So its a volleyball 🤣🤣🤣
In this kind of analysis no one ever mentions the Big dinosaur inside the room. There is always a gap between american and foreign players. There is an overall mistreatment that underestimates european players. The same for Jokic, for Fournier or Hernangómez.
boohoo look at Asians or how they treated Jeremy Lin, JK about the boohoo yeah you're right they're biased towards their own and discriminates others
or they suck
@@vincenthammons-kd9du Jeremy Lin 100% didnt suck, NY Knicks got rid of him because of Carmelo Anthony's Jealousy and tantrums
@@vincenthammons-kd9duJokic, Giannis, Embiid have won the last 5 MVPs....
@@relykremok1225teams figured him out and all he end up being was a below average speed/slashing combo guard with a broke jumpsuit, you aren't lasting in the league with that combo.
He is coming to Panathinaikos B.C to win the Euroleague..
🎉🎉❤❤n❤

He got bullied after commenting about Celtics and struggle to find a team that would welcome him. Coaches of teams he'd been into, lessen his playing minutes per game. I mean, Hernangomez is obviously very good player but who would score and show stats in just 5 minute play? The least was even 4 minutes, that's absurd. Obviously deliberate.
I guess Bo just wasn't about that NBA life as he was trashed and bullied, even dunked on by kermit the frog. It all went downhill😞
adam sandler just wasnt enough 😔
Actually it's crazy to think an active NBA role player starred in a movie.
dang that movie was fire af too :/
Welcome to Athens Greece Juancho ☘️ Panathinaikos BC awaits
That's a really good move!
@@EuroHeroes so far every move Pana has done is top tier
This guy is now Euroleague Champion with Panathinaikos. 👌
He certainly will stay longer in Spain or Greece..better weather,food,beer,girls,money...what's not to like. And lets be completely honest...the NBA isn't the basketball pinnacle anymore 😉
He actually went to Greece and signed with Panathinaikos. It happened a couple of days ago.
Certainly not better money than in the NBA
@@baronceli In hindsight that's true, yes.
How can the NBA not want the Cruz Missile?
I don't know the numbers exactly, but I think you can count the players that have come back to the NBA after a season or more overseas with one hand... If there are any. Once you are out you are out and there is no going back. There is someone better and younger in your place already and the teams are not looking for old players to fill their rosters.
Joey Dorsey, Damien Wilkings, Sergio Rodríguez, PJ Tucker, Bobby Brown and Anthony Parker.
Casual
Being Elite at 1 thing can keep up in the NBA longer than being Mediocre at many things
Phil Handy in the Lakers could put him to good use
ΤΙ ΕΧΕΙ ΝΑ ΓΙΝΕΙ ΣΤΟ ΟΑΚΑ ΦΕΤΟΣ
This man is playin with his career I want him to win but it looks like he isn’t motivated
Money talks here. You have a moment when you have thirst for money. You get money, and then you're not thirsty anymore. Then he finds calm team.
There are phrases in life!
I’m ready for HUSTLE 2
The European Edition!
What if that juan hernangomez trade again in denver nuggets receive ring before his prime fall
What happen to adam
I only first started hearing about him was from Adam Sandler's Hustle. Definitely wasn't doing anything special on the Raptors at the time.
He's more famous as an actor as a basketball player I guess...
Hustle was still great movie
I still don't understand how or why he went through 7 teams in 6yrs.
Especially the fact that after leaving the Nuggets in 2020 he had 5 teams. Obivously couldn't find a fit. Maybe teams hoped too much from him?
It's because he's a MUCH better actor than a nba player
Bo Cruz
Coming to theatres in Europe!
Pls watch the game itself instead of just looking at numbers
That's Bo Cruz
Ah, the hater of shallow jokes thinking he's better than everybody.
Well, thats a story for Hustle sequel...
Oh No Bo Cruz

He's go to Barcelona. It's NBA europe team
Juancho actually went to Panathinaikos. Willy is in Barcelona.
Jabari Parker
Hello mavss??
go to miami heat
Lol calls a 7 year NBA vet a bust is wild
The meaning behind is that he didn't fulfill his expectations. He wasn't drafted to be a 5PPG, 3RPG guy. Sorry if the wording was wrong, getting better at English is an ongoing project 😂
I was hoping gsw would give him a spot
He could've been like Bjelica in their last championship year
So he doesn't have a kid ? Is he single and doesn't have a phornography issue?
That was a movie 😭
Nick Nurse
It’s age not skill
Why on earth would the first 10 seconds of video have no sound? Had to check if I accidentally hit mute. Wtf?
Yeah, sorry about that! Let's chalk that one down to the fact that the video came within our first month of YT :D We were total noobs then, and still are beginners, but we're not doing stilly stuff like that.
@@EuroHeroes Ha. Sorry - might be having a bad day. No big deal.
No worries at all. Besides, you made a good point and if I think back to why I did what I did then... I don't have any other reasoning than the wish to experiment.@@theoneonly259
