I love how in one of the sequel comics they made for Firefly, there's one bit where Jayne finds a monk dressed in rags, and in an annoyed and grumbling tone, gives him a pack of cash and says "Go buy some shoes". The monk's reaction is both hilarious and heartwarming. "The Hero of Canton!!! HE'S REAL!!!!"
Uh about that, some production company already said that they're going to remake it. I'm assuming with a more woke hard lefty authoritarian anti white man/strait man pro feminazi lgbtqA1steaksauce right hand green left foot blue cast and plotline that will try to destroy the original storyline under the guise of "a retelling of a classic story through a modern lense". What they don't understand is that Firefly an Serenity are timeless and never need to be retold.

So there was no character progression (or it seemed totally random) and in one episode they were rich and suddenly poor, and then they had the operation that made them rich, and then they were suddenly poor again, so it had terrible continuity. GamerGirll You can't blame Fox for canceling it without also blaming everyone else for not picking it up. Sometimes to be great it has to end "too soon". Jaynes actual intentions with the money made no difference. the people of that mudders colony needed a hero. and they gave themselves one. even when the hero came back and showed his true colors. they likely put his statue back up because that entire colony believed in something. in putting others first. even jaynes old partner believed that hedve rather thrown the money to save jayne. and in the end i think jayne learned something. however hard it was for him to accept. he learned the value of other peoples lives. and you can see that when he helped simon and river escape the agents on ariel. his conciounce (or however tf you spell it) got the better of him. and he chose to save them.

I work at a brewery. (how cool is that!) But now I hear about one going up in North Carolina....30 minute drive from the town of CANTON!! My new goal in life is to move to Canton, work at that brewery, and become a hero all while wearing a pretty cunning hat!

But this one is done up with Mandolin, Guitar, Banjo, Violin, full jug-band treatment, so it sounds very authentic. I think this is included in the DVD extras.
