so you didn't tell how to use it as a normal transition on video editing software like davinci resolve?

Once you've finished the animation, make sure to export it with alpha channel enabled - you can use .mov (QuickTime) for this. After that, simply add the exported video in davinci resolve where you want the transition to happen.
