I’m impressed with how stable the game runs on my PS5. I haven’t had a single crash or even major bug. Which is crazy considering the old version crashed constantly, and if you were in your minibike it would sometimes disappear (fall through the map) when that happened. And the map would fail to render when traversing the world. And if you accidentally walked into the barrier between loaded areas and unloaded, you’d get trapped until it loaded. Meaning if a zombie was chasing you, you were literally a sitting duck and couldn’t even defend yourself lol
Yeah for me I also play on PS5 & I've been loving how stable it's been! Definitely can't wait for the game to have Cross-Play & more to do later down the line. :D
@@ItsCatmanjoe cross play isn’t something I’m worried about personally. I don’t play multiplayer games these days. But so many people want it so I hope it comes soon! I’m eager for random Gen. I played navezgane for my first playthrough. I always did with new updates. But I found out quickly that now with trader quests that map SUCKS. Traders aren’t located anywhere near towns. So 90% of quests are atleast 1km away. Took 13 days for me to complete tier 1 for the bike. But I’m actually really enjoying the slower progression! I think the balance of the game works way better that way. And it allows you more opportunity to just explore, instead of only going where the trader tells you to
I played this game long ago on PS4 when it was released. Now I play it on PS5. It's now such an improved game. I am very looking forward to enhancements, namely in the graphical and stability departments. It's worth its asking price, in my opinion.
It’s so awesome seeing some love being given to legacy console players finally. You rarely see that these days. As long as they take care of them the console community will definitely thrive again, and when crossplay gets enabled things can really kick off. So awesome all around really.
Ya but its not on ps4. Some people like me cant afford a new console and this company needs to be more accommodating and not force people to buy a whole new console just to play. They are showing just how bad of a company they are.
I don’t think they should have to accommodate a now old generation console just because their last port of the game was made for that version, I think that’s an unfair request. They’ve already publicly said that due to technical restrictions they had to make the new version on next gen consoles only & even at that they’ve had to cut some corners so it could run smoothly enough. For example they had to remove split screen entirely, had to make the player limit four players max on PS5 & Series X then on the Series S they had to make the player limit just two players max. It’s a shame they couldn’t make a version for the PS4 & Xbox One but if they did they’d be weighed down even more than they already are so I think it was for the best :/

The legacy version crashed entirely too often even with the pro slim model, I’ve only had a few crashes in 92 hours on my PS5 slim that I bought at the beginning of the year, and it is still been a bit testy plenty of times especially the longer I keep racking the days up. I really hope they can find a way to make split screen work at least, so I can play with my daughter, instead of playing legacy together still and the new beta 1.0 separately, she doesn’t even want to play unless we can play together at this point.
Maybe you should fix that two green screamers don't spawn at the same time, which then trigger a blood moon hunt without there being a blood moon at all. From level 3 in the wasteland, it is almost impossible to play decently, apart from the delays. The screamers destroy a lot and make it heavier, especially when they now perform in a double pack.
Really need a drone self destruct button it disappeared in a game crash and I can't place another wich now makes them useless pretty sure it fell through the world lol but stability fixes are allways awesome
@@vinniecraig5291 I lost mine last night flying in gyro copter.. I found it almost gave up. The drone will travel slower than you so if you crash it is most likely in the sky or underground but most likely above you. I found mine driving the motorcycle up the mountains and it started flying behind me. I also use quick markers when traveling so it’s easy to retrace my footsteps. Good luck on the search
I'm hoping that random freeze hitching issue is much lower. I couldn't take it anymore last time I played. it seemed random, not just when loading in a zone etc. I kept getting infected over that crap
It would be nice if they had also chosen to do it for ps4 or at least ps4 pro. They probably didn't because marketing of the ps5 and they probably consider it to be a waste of money and time but there are people who would agree with me that a ps4 update would be nice. I still love the game tho and ima go play it.
They also don't understand that some people can't afford a new console or pc. They are forcing people to pay money they don't have on an expensive console/pc just to play the new update. I hope they go bankrupt for being so cruel.
I agree it would have been nice to see the game be re-released on the Xbox One & PS4 but I think it was just because they literally couldn't. Apparently the new console port required a lot of power & only the newer consoles could provide that but even then there have been limitations made such as no split-screen as it can't work & on Xbox Series S you can only have two players in a game as opposed to four on the Xbox Series X & PS5 :(
Need less crashing. Hate crashing and my vehicle ends up Hella far from where I'm at. And wasteland lags Hella bad on at Tier 4 and 5 POIs and increase the number of players per server on the series s to 4 as well.
Are you playing default? I know a lot of people play around with settings without knowing what they're doing and then complain when the game isn't working well 😅
I definitely agree they need to up the player limit on the Series S to 4 also. I understand it's not as powerful but it's such a weird limit when surely adding two more players wouldn't break the game haha
@@truealphabeast5929 Man, i'm playin the game since I'm 15-16yo, now i'm almost 27 and the graphics improved a lot in 10 years, the developers always'v been really present and updating the game, like every new alpha version it was almost a new game, it's one of those games made with real passion. Yes the graphics aren't exceptional but it's a game that's focusing on gameplay (people forget sometimes that a game is about play and not graphics). We do not give a f about graphics because the gameplay and its mechanics are really good especially with friends (+ you can still play solo and enjoy it, i did it for years).. That's the reason people are here playing the game even after 10+ years of alpha and honestly it's a perfect and rare exemple of what early access games could be/sould be. The community has remained sandy and has only grown over the years wich is proof of some kind of quality. C'mon, i started playing as a teenager, now i'm a grown adult and really happy it came out of alpha with such content,/improvement (i know I'm speaking for a lot of people here). The game is loved for the reasons i said, so yes we don't care about the graphics because obviously this game never was about that. I've seen this kind of comment regularly over the years (about graphics) and i really don't understand it 😶 Kind regards my friend, just had to say it this time ✌️
Well the limited player count is actually not an "issue" or "bug" it's something The Fun Pimps had to do as apparently the Series S couldn't handle more than two players which is a shame. Hopefully they'll increase the limit when they add Crossplay. :/
They have plans to up the player limit when they introduce crossplay I believe so no doubt it'll be the same as the PC version which is max 16 players! :)
Well they have given us a roadmap of things coming down the line & we'll be getting a new NPC (human) enemy at some point so that's something to look forward to! :)

I'm on PS5 but I can't say I'm experiencing that problem, could you share more details on if you are playing on a multiplayer world, have lot's of waypoints or anything else that might mess with your stability.
PS5 and been having a blast, not experiencing any serious issues though it is still in console beta. I’ve played for about 27 hours so far, one save, Navezgane, solo play.
It's not an update, it's actually an entirely separate game! So if you had a PS5 you'd have to buy it new, however you would get a discount of 25% if you owned the old version. :)
Steam multiplayer server list is very small. Stability is worse. Steam version has issues starting up. Dedicated server is never working right. Definitely not a game like Minecraft in performance and features. I played the 1.0 with some limited local with friends as it is limited...you need to be a tech junkie to unlock the targeted play the Fun Pimps aim for. So much I wish they did but they didn't/ Also steam integrity and rules are getting worse every minor update..... I never thought I'd be playin my ps5 more than my gaming pc :/
I actually play the Steam version & I've never had any problems with it starting up? I think the learning curve for some people can & undoubtably will put them off playing more late game but I honestly love the challenge of having to collect magazines, level up certain skill trees & overall survive longer to get better loot/resources. I do play the game more on my PS5 but that's honestly just due to me being more of a Console player haha.
It still works in the hotfix but you should exploit it as much as possible until it’s fixed. It’s very overpowered imo but I used it once bc I really wanted this rank 4 auto shotgun lol
@Chucky424 make 500 wood doors 5 stone spears. Rent a vending machine put the door in there and spear at 20% more than regular come back 3 days later. Over 100k

@williamackerman7252 you can craft 500 wooden doors or hatchs and 5 level 1 spears. Place them in the rentable vending machines inside of a trader. Raise the price on the spears to 240 and it will force the game to buy the 500 wooden doors/ hatches for 125,000 dukes

Do you have interest in seeing 7 days renting servers with a higher player count ? Kinda like Rust or just keep it as is. The map is not the biggest I’d love to rent a server just for my friends and I so they could hop on when ever to play

The game was just released so we do have to give them some time, they are mainly no doubt focusing on smoothing the game out with the Version 1.1 that we'll see soon. Maybe that update will also bring crossplay. :)
I don't plan to keep playing 7 days to die for the next few years, and I don't fall for the hype. 7 days to die is a fun game to play for a few days, but the repetitive play is awful. Once you get upgraded in the game and repeat things enough you will start to fall a sleep while playing. Seeing the same zombies, and trying all the builds their really is nothing left in the game. For a game that is 13 years old you would think their would be at least 100 or more different zombies, over 100 different types of guns, armors, looks, and at last 50 different vehicles you use in a zombie world, but that sadly no. I would place money down that 7 days to die will be fun to play 10 years later but only with mods. People who have played this game for years know the devs are lazy, and some of the choices they have made is very questionable, but if I had to give advice to all players it would be only buy the game when its below 15 bucks. The game is worth 10 bucks because the mods are the only things that will keep the game going. It won't be the devs. The devs want to sit back, and collect the money.
Respectfully I disagree with the statement “the game is worth $10” it’s not, I’d say the full price is respectable for the amount of fun the game gives. I’ve spent well over 50+ hours on PS5 playing my own single player world & I’m only on day 37 with still just a bicycle & a nice little base that I’m working on. I’ve only got to tier 4 missions & still got a long way to go until I get to tier five. Obviously my experience is going to be different from others but the amount of fun I’ve gotten has definitely been worth the money I paid. I understand if you do just keep doing the same missions over & over again it can get repetitive but that’s by choice. You can always try another Trader & get missions from them in different locations with different rewards or you can just focus on building your own small or large base. As for the amount of variation between zombies I agree there could be more! It’s a shame we see the same couple zombies but at the same time there are many more models just in different environments around the world. As for vehicles or guns I think we have enough, we’ve got the bicycle, mini-bike Motorcycle, Truck & the Gyrocopter. What else could we need? Maybe a boat? That would be fun! As for guns we’ve got melee weapons, pistols, shotguns, rifles, machine guns, rocket launchers, bows, revolvers. What else could they add that we actually need? :P

Hey man chill, not to seem like I'm knocking you down or anything you are intitled to speak your opinion but they (The Fun Pimps) have confirmed that crossplay would be a thing. They've even said it's coming in Q4 of this year meaning from September to December we will see it! They've just released a ported version of their PC game to three different Consoles & are dealing with multiple more pressing issue's like fixing bugs from Version 1.0 on those Consoles & their original PC version. It's just a matter of giving them the required time to get everything polished & ready to release. :)

I presume that's just due to the town/city rendering in with all the loot, zombies etc. I think they will smooth the game out in time though. :P

They’d Gould add more players in sessions like to maybe 12 at max or 8

What hand did they have in the console edition? They sold the rights to Telltale & Telltale hired Iron Galaxy Studios to port the game to consoles but the end result had nothing to do with The Fun Pimps :/

I'm on PS5 but I can't say I'm experiencing that problem, could you share more details on if you are playing on a multiplayer world, have lot's of waypoints or anything else that might mess with your stability.
PS5 and been having a blast, not experiencing any serious issues though it is still in console beta. I’ve played for about 27 hours so far, one save, Navezgane, solo play.
So if you got it for PS4 will it update on PS4 or do I got to buy a PS5 to get the update

Yeah the ps4 version sucked huge balls, im glad they finally updated it because its a lot more stable and actually playable now lol
Steam multiplayer server list is very small. Stability is worse. Steam version has issues starting up. Dedicated server is never working right.
Definitely not a game like Minecraft in performance and features.
I played the 1.0 with some limited local with friends as it is limited...you need to be a tech junkie to unlock the targeted play the Fun Pimps aim for.

I think the learning curve for some people can & undoubtably will put them off playing more late game but I honestly love the challenge of having to collect magazines, level up certain skill trees & overall survive longer to get better loot/resources.
I do play the game more on my PS5 but that's honestly just due to me being more of a Console player haha.

You can't really do much if you don't have an Xbox Series X or S as that's the only platforms the new version is on

It still works in the hotfix but you should exploit it as much as possible until it’s fixed. It’s very overpowered imo but I used it once bc I really wanted this rank 4 auto shotgun lol

@Chucky424 make 500 wood doors 5 stone spears. Rent a vending machine put the door in there and spear at 20% more than regular come back 3 days later. Over 100k

I hope they find a way to delete any worlds that people have where they dupe or use the vending machine exploit. Lol. I just want to see the people who like to cheat, complain about not being able to cheat.😆
I doubt they’d be able to do that haha, regardless it’s a personal choice & preference that might increase your enjoyment with the game so what’s the problem?
As long as someone isn’t doing glitches or exploits in multiplayer worlds where they aren’t welcomed then I don’t see a problem XD

@williamackerman7252 you can craft 500 wooden doors or hatchs and 5 level 1 spears. Place them in the rentable vending machines inside of a trader. Raise the price on the spears to 240 and it will force the game to buy the 500 wooden doors/ hatches for 125,000 dukes

No split-screen, and yes it can be played offline in solo but you will still need an internet connection though.

The game loads in chunks. I lost my bike and the icon. It was back a bit further on the road I was on. Hope that helps

I remember an old glitch where the vehicle would be burried underground trying to digging for it at the icon
Sometimes objects randomly despawn. Not sure if bikes do, but other things do. It's rare but I've seen it with my own eyes.

The game was just released so we do have to give them some time, they are mainly no doubt focusing on smoothing the game out with the Version 1.1 that we'll see soon. Maybe that update will also bring crossplay. :)

I don't plan to keep playing 7 days to die for the next few years, and I don't fall for the hype. 7 days to die is a fun game to play for a few days, but the repetitive play is awful. Once you get upgraded in the game and repeat things enough you will start to fall a sleep while playing. Seeing the same zombies, and trying all the builds their really is nothing left in the game. For a game that is 13 years old you would think their would be at least 100 or more different zombies, over 100 different types of guns, armors, looks, and at last 50 different vehicles you use in a zombie world, but that sadly no.
I would place money down that 7 days to die will be fun to play 10 years later but only with mods. People who have played this game for years know the devs are lazy, and some of the choices they have made is very questionable, but if I had to give advice to all players it would be only buy the game when its below 15 bucks. The game is worth 10 bucks because the mods are the only things that will keep the game going. It won't be the devs. The devs want to sit back, and collect the money.
Respectfully I disagree with the statement “the game is worth $10” it’s not, I’d say the full price is respectable for the amount of fun the game gives.
I’ve spent well over 50+ hours on PS5 playing my own single player world & I’m only on day 37 with still just a bicycle & a nice little base that I’m working on. I’ve only got to tier 4 missions & still got a long way to go until I get to tier five.
Obviously my experience is going to be different from others but the amount of fun I’ve gotten has definitely been worth the money I paid. I understand if you do just keep doing the same missions over & over again it can get repetitive but that’s by choice. You can always try another Trader & get missions from them in different locations with different rewards or you can just focus on building your own small or large base.
As for the amount of variation between zombies I agree there could be more! It’s a shame we see the same couple zombies but at the same time there are many more models just in different environments around the world. As for vehicles or guns I think we have enough, we’ve got the bicycle, mini-bike Motorcycle, Truck & the Gyrocopter. What else could we need? Maybe a boat? That would be fun!
As for guns we’ve got melee weapons, pistols, shotguns, rifles, machine guns, rocket launchers, bows, revolvers. What else could they add that we actually need? :P

Wait why? Why would bringing split screen affect the game? They should bring it but probably limit to offline only.
I hope it get's introduced later down the line as I think it's great for people who want to play with others but don't own another console.
@Dakotabunz-fz1ui Nothing is wrong. I just know that when a game company brings splitscreen into their game, the games performance typically starts going downhill from there. So, I don't want them to bring splitscreen to 7DTD if it's going to reduce the performance of the game. The graphics for some people are already shit.

The game doesn't suck on PS5, I'd love to know how you think it does as from my experience that graphics are amazing, the performance is great (at times it can drop when entering big towns or cities) but overall it's a great game in my opinion. :P

Hey man chill, not to seem like I'm knocking you down or anything you are intitled to speak your opinion but they (The Fun Pimps) have confirmed that crossplay would be a thing. They've even said it's coming in Q4 of this year meaning from September to December we will see it!
They've just released a ported version of their PC game to three different Consoles & are dealing with multiple more pressing issue's like fixing bugs from Version 1.0 on those Consoles & their original PC version. It's just a matter of giving them the required time to get everything polished & ready to release. :)
