Could be that VF tunes cars for longevity and usability rather then max HP. Sure any shop can give you wild numbers but if it blows up in a week what good is it.
I mean, he shouldn't have to wait for 3-5 weeks for a tune to be done and have the correct horsepower when someone like adam lz let's a small shop in nowhere do a turbo swap and meth within a few days and it's already killing it, while parker has to wait 3-5 weeks of no supra content which is why he bought the car. He bought the car to make some content since the car is popular now. I see no reason it should take a shop like VF 3-5 weeks for a good reliable tune to be done.

I think a roof scoop and fender louvre is one of the best looking cars ever made and one of the best sounding V8 Supercars. The engine that’s shared from the P1-675LT is fantastic, new McLarens don’t even come close to that sound.

The thing with VF's tune was they did not max it out to keep a driveable powerband. Also to not stress the engine too much. I don't know much about these guys and their expertise.
Ok... what are the odds the 675 LT will be broken by summertime...? Once you go down the race fuel route, you will be embracing a broken car in the near future. I will admit, it does sound like the tuner does have a good tune... but once you start pushing, you get closer to breaking.

Horsepower is somewhat meaningless to how fast or quick a car actual is. (And fast is different than quick, but I will save that for another day). Vehicle weight, wind drag, drive train loss, gearing and about a dozen other factors go into how quick a car can accelerate and host fast it can go. Its less about what the peak HP number is and more about how an engine gets to that figure and how that power is sent to tires to get the car moving forward.
