      Can you say if the neck is fat? Is it as fat as the neck on the CavernBass? I am looking for a fat neck...

    This guy always seems to play the appropriate bass line an instrument was intended for . 🙂

    I just watched the two Ignition videos prior to this one and the sound of this bass is SO much better it's almost unbelievable

      The Ignition and Contemporary basses come with roundwound strings from the factory, the German basses come with Pyramid Gold flats instead. Restringing one of the cheaper basses will get you like 90% of the way to this tone if you can't spend this kind of money on a bass.

    this is absolutely unnecessary to mention but this is the second video in which I noticed that some of the images are out of sync with the audio at times and I wondered why that was the case (1:07 is the trigger in this video). Now I think that's because you probably use only one camera but several takes in order to get close ups and wider shots, and you want to use the best audio file, of course. I was confused about the reasons, but now I'm not anymore haha. Again, totally unnecessary comment, but funny for me when the penny dropped 🙂

    Great demo. Can you please tell how you recorded the bass? DI to audio interface? How is the audio signal processed in the software...?

    BUENOS DIAS AMIGOS BAJISTA HOFNER DE CORAZON
    ESTOY A PUNTODE COMPRAR, MI HOFNER , ¿UNA PREGUNTA, VALE LA PENA ESTE HOFNER 500/1 ARTIST¿ Y QUE DIFERENCIA EXISTE ENTRE 500/1 ARTIST Y EL 500/1 VINTAGE 62 MERSEY

    • @santiagov4437
      @santiagov4437 Месяц назад +1

      Comprate este sin dudas, el 62 mersey sale innecesariamente 1000 usd mas que este y tiene exactamente los mismos specs practicamente. Y ademas el 62 mersey tiene la manera incomoda de ponerle la correa cuando en cambio este tiene un pin clasico, super comodo sin enroscar nada en el cuerpo del instrumento. Mi humilde opinion, luego de ver 1000 videos y posts antes de comprar el mio. Se supone que el 62 mersey y los otros que no son "violin artists" se ven mas parecidos a los que uso y usa sir Paul, pero creeme que es un gasto grande innecesario por exactamente la misma calidad de instrumento, y aun asi el violin artist se ve increible!

      @@santiagov4437 muy cierto bro gracias por tu comentario en efecto me comentaron directamente de HOFNER que el artist y el 62 mersey solo cambia un capa de nitrocelulosa mas brillante , trae las mismas pastillas, ya que el mesery 62 vale 1000 dolares mas y es inecesario cito el comentario de parte de especialistas de hofner por si alguien tambien tiene la duda de cual hofner comprar de gama alta " Gracias por su interés en nuestros instrumentos y productos.
      Ambos bajos consultados son del mismo tipo. Los componentes y las unidades de potencia también son los mismos. Esto significa que el sonido y la sensación son los mismos.
      La diferencia entre ambos bajos es el acabado. El Artist Bass tiene un acabado de poliéster de fácil cuidado y el Mersey Bass tiene el tradicional acabado de nitrocelulosa.
      Habla con tu distribuidor de música local y prueba ambas versiones in situ y luego decide cuál te gusta más.

    Despite having two pickups and control knobs to adjust the sound, this is about as much of a “one-sound, but two-pickup bass” as I’ve ever heard. Any kind of true tonal variety does not seem to be its forte, and I’d bet the knockoff versions at 1/4 the price (or 1/8), are close enough to this in tone, to make the only real reason to spring for these is the name on the headstock and high dollar event band Beatles tribute authenticity.
    Not a bad bass, and it’s a model that was used to create immortal bass lines millions of us on the planet will know, and love, but…
