Problem with the lar is silencers. M4 silencers are a lot more plentiful and last a lot longer. Plus the 40 and 60 mags. I always like to run silent. Well run silent and carry a big stick. For me the M4 is just better.

I always carry Tundra and then whatever AR I can find. I was Challenged to use only LAR as both recently, CQ the LAR is nice, 500m or higher though and I couldn't hit targets, If I did almost no damage was done. I dont think its a horrible weapon but not as good as its rarity IMO. If I had to choose between LAR and any other high tier weapon I would always choose the other. I feel more confident with AK101 honestly. I know people that are cracked with it though so I guess its all about preference and how much time you spend with it
