@kikopup Also they do not make the dogs jump repeatedly or as high as most competitors. It is good to have caution though. Obviously if I tried these tricks with my dogs, they would be 'dangerous'! as I am not an expert at frisbee nor are my dogs conditioned physically to be able to do that. So I am sticking to not doing vaults. And in fact, I will always doubt my throwing ability and so will not probably ever do vaults with my dogs.
AWESOME!!!!! we are just beginners, but boy oh boy what I would not give to have some tips from ya'll! I have a 15 month old sheltie, that lives for his frisbee~
WOW. BACK FLIP DOGS! Awesome. And the cross-eyed dog made my day, that was adorable. Hahahah Wowowowow!!! I've often considered doing frisbee tricks with Sparky... Except for the fact that I can't throw a frisbee if my life depended on it. It will smack the ground about 2 feet away from me. Or maybe get stuck in a tree. It always goes in the opposite direction I want it too... I guess we'll have to stick to canine freestyle for now hehe. This video is AMAZING Emily!! Thanks for sharing!
Oh my God! I was so sure these dogs have been taught to catch fresbees from they were like eight weeks old, but then you tell me they are all rescues!? THAT is amazing!
Wow these guys are amazing. What I just don't understand is how to get my dog into frisbees. All dogs I have had in my life just aren't appealed by hard frisbees. At the moment I have a staffy and he is amazing at jumping and catching tennis balls, but they just don't last long and our shoulders are killing us before he is even tired, so I would love to try frisbee with him. Any tips?
@860913001 The reason I really like how the Disc Connected K9's work with their dogs is that they train them like athletes. The same with gymnastics- you can have your daughter do it safely taking step by step, or you could force your daughter to do something and really hurt her body. All of the dogs are in amazing heath the oldest dog Aero being 16 years old (BC) and in prime condition! Also they spend an amazing amount of time working on the perfection of their throws to keep the dogs safe
hi! absolutely amazing work, the dogs and handlers were awesome! do you think you could give some insight on how they would have trained the shepherd at 2:35 to bounce the frisbee back with his nose (if that makes sense)
@kikopup i have to agree with u! i was enjoying the video already but when i saw that dog i broke out laughing!! i want to recruit all of these dogs to be on my ultimate frisbee team in Richmond! haha
Those guys are goooood, and that is one talented cross-eyed dog!!!! Aw man, I would looove to get tips from such fantastically talented frisbee stars! Do we get to see some new smooth moves in your next video.....................? I H O P E S O !
Just taught my shelter dog to back stall this weekend! Now if only I could actually throw the frisbee like this guy LOL. Also, love the cross-eyed BC, simply adorable
I see that a lot of frisbee dogs are border collies... Do they make better catchers or something? I have a jack russell puppy , and that makes me wonder if she'll be any good at it like those guys,
how cool is that?! Holly is amazing at frisbee and I'm rubbish :( I do let her down there but she still catches my worst throws! oh how cool it would be to be as good as in this video!
My 3 year old border collie and I started from scratch and we’re competing at world finals within a year and a half, and know several dogs as old as 11 or 12 still playing. I would say that overall fitness of the dog is extremely important before trying something so physical, things like excess weight can be very harmful
A M A Z I N G ! Supercool vid! :D I love playing frisbee with my lab, but she's too big to jump on my back x) If I ever get a smaller dog, I will totally do all of that! :)
Wow, these dogs are talented, but the throws are absolutely amazing. The air bounce, the kicks, and some reverse trick throws. If the dogs have the desire and drive that's one thing, but to be able to train tricks and perform such awesome throws is another!
wow the dogs are all amazing but that guy with the BC is an awesome thrower. When I am throwing the frisbee for my dog I'm always apologizing to her for my bad throws.
@860913001 My dad's dog is an epagneul breton named Sarah, she does not know any trick and when they walk in the wild and in the countryside she jumps from crazy height. This fact scares me, but she does not get any scratch... Dogs are agile because of nature and I think we're scared because those jumps would break our bones XD.
The dog at 2:24.... "What has been seen cannot be unseen!" Lol!
@LineRocketPocket the Parsons Russell Terrier named Hyzer- (the short white and hairy dog) he has only had for 5 weeks!
This is Absolutly stunning..And EVERY single dog was rescued that's just amazing!
I'm not here for the dogs in particular. I'm here for the sheer athletism.
AWESOME!
@shakiberm yep, they were all rescued unwanted dogs before Lawrence adopted them :)
Loved it great job 👍 Thanks 🙏 TJ
The focus of those dogs! Bravo!

those pups look like they are having so much fun!
My dog Bella is so talented with the frisbee. I can see great potential in her. Now I am look for advance level training.
AWESOME!!!!! we are just beginners, but boy oh boy what I would not give to have some tips from ya'll!
I have a 15 month old sheltie,that lives for his frisbee~
These dogs are so great! I love your video!

Do they make better catchers or something?
I have a jack russell puppy , and that makes me wonder if she'll be any good at it like those guys,
Thanks also for the throwers !! :)
how cool is that?! Holly is amazing at frisbee and I'm rubbish :( I do let her down there but she still catches my worst throws! oh how cool it would be to be as good as in this video!
could u tell me how long does it take u to train a dog to such level?and can old dogs(over 7 years)do that?
My 3 year old border collie and I started from scratch and we’re competing at world finals within a year and a half, and know several dogs as old as 11 or 12 still playing. I would say that overall fitness of the dog is extremely important before trying something so physical, things like excess weight can be very harmful

Great vid!
The back flips are amazing, but every time I see it I worry about the impact to the front assembly.
my dog watched this and now she’s going crazy
Ok. I think i'm gonna have a conversation with Scott (my pup) about his future...
When I am throwing the frisbee for my dog I'm always apologizing to her for my bad throws.

i never get how these guys are so good at throwing such crappy frisbees! isn't it a lot harder to throw such light discs?
For some reason this video says the author won't allow it to be played on an iPad! :-(
@860913001 My dad's dog is an epagneul breton named Sarah, she does not know any trick and when they walk in the wild and in the countryside she jumps from crazy height. That was so cool! I wish my dog was able to do that! She's smart enough to get the point of frisbee, she's just not a very athletic breed.

Nice vid. But some moves are way too dangerous...!!! I would NEVER teach them to my dogs!!! It's all about spectator appeal I guess...
