Playing guitar through a 555 timer via LDR.

Varying the pitch of a 555 oscillator by feeding a light controlled resistor with light from my pedal.
no voltage is transferred between the two, just a fast change in resistance, like putting your thumb on and off the nozzle of a hose very quickly
