Without a doubt, Almiral Trentch is my favorite Clone Wars character: excellent strategist, visionary, good response to unfavorable conditions, and charismatic personality. Only reason he never managed to wipe out the jedi armies was their plot armor.
@@JournaloftheWhills I am not sure about it. Thrawn was a resourceful admiral for any outcome in any condition, while Trench was a man of war. While Thrawn was good in controlling large areas of the empire space against organized rebels and cell-type guerrillas, Trench was more fitted to army-to-army conflicts, so his control in a region could have collapsed quite easy against surgical strikes like Guerrera's actions, where civil population was just collateral damage. (I don't see Trench bombing a city, at least not like Thrawn).
