The 2022 vikings had a negative point differential. This vikings team is over 100+ point differential. This team has blown some teams out. The 2022 vikings didn't blow the wind out.
I think one of the strongest argument in favor of Josh Allen is that he has taken a collection of players that the consensus take about them was not good enough, going to be a down year, and led them into being one of the best offenses in the league. On the other hand of the 3 players at the top of the standings for offensive player of the year this year, one of those guys plays with Joe Burrow, and another one of them plays with Lamar Jackson. The Bills have the benefit of the "we don't know who its going to be this week" but that is just spin you say when you don't have a stud that teams actually have to worry about. You'd always take Jamar Chase and the effect he has on the opposing defense trying to cover him, or Henry and the way defenses have to play when trying to stop him. The worst argument is that Lamar is having a better year than last year. The fact he won MVP in one of the worst MVP classes in NFL history should have no impact on the race this year whether that is in favor of him or against him because Allen is due or whatever people think.
You say Herbert wasn’t on fire the whole game, his epa per play before the interception was like .45 a play and finished the game at that level. It was really a perfect game outside of one throw
I think the JD performance comparison intakes the competition he went against while also being a rookie. Yes the heroics at the end of the game is a major fact, but also going against THE top defense in the league boosts his performance in their minds, over the likes of Bryce Young & Lamar. Even though I'd personally say Lamar was the best quarterback this week, I don't think their claim was so outrageous and ridiculous.
@Scribbles643 ....so....the op is right? Like wtf your comment 😂 also you act like the bears didn't 3 and out on the first possession. That was their best start of their first three possessions
If game is a wild situation to play for analyst, I thought ifs were imaginary and actual were what happened, you can’t have two moments on the line in a game so anything prior to the final drive means less unless it was a two score game that’s how I see it atleast lol
Saquons contract barely even kicked in yet. He is due over 35 mil, and the eagles are in cap hell. Probably losing aj brown and a lot of defense this off season.
Also Terry McLaurin. It's not hating to point out that he wasn't perfect and right before a game-winning drive he blew the last opportunity at a game-winning drive.
@lucrative6477 before the season a lot of people would have said he was a bottom half of the league number 1 definitely not top 10 wr. Plus any of the other WRs they have would be out of the league or ST returners only. Noah Brown was the texans 7th best WR, he has been the number 2 for washington this year after training camp cut. Terry is good, every other reciever are lower end JAGs. Even ertz got cut mid season last year from a team that ended up top 5 in the draft. It's not like Daniels is throwing to brown, smitty, goedert, and barkley. Crowder and zaccheus each had 2 tds against the top defense. Put it into perspective.
@@stubbynubby6926 bro what are you rambling about lol. He’s clearly their best wr. Anyone who knows anything about football or Washington is aware of him.
Indy almost lost the game because Bradley is terrible at his job, Steichan decided to be more conservative than a Mormon preacher with his play calling
My only interest in any of these silly awards is to root against whoever gets them in the playoffs. Fortunately that's rarely or even never a problem with Lamar Jackson, who seems to specialize in meaningless participation trophies while winning zero titles. He can have all of them as far as I'm concerned. Or even better, give the D and O P of the year, the rookie award and the MVP automatically to whoever the Patriots long snapper is every year to make it look exactly as meaningless as it actually is. Just hand all of them out before the preseason starts too so we don't have to be bored all season by people talking endlessly about it.
It’s amazing to me to watch this so called analysis of Jayden Daniels with the foundation of the argument against him based on the “IF” factor. That’s weak AF! Here’s the T….Devonta Smith, who I think is a really good receiver, is the one who choked, not Jayden Daniels! Last time I checked, all four quarters count in football, not 3 and some change! Don’t try to trash Jayden because he got the final say and called “GAME” as he walked off the field!!! Y’all’s analysis was some 💩!!
@@vonjingo911 dude threw 5 tds against the top defense in the league, 4 of which were to Jamison Croweder and Olamide Zaccheus. But one was a busted coverage so it doesn't count i guess? Oh and mitchell got burnt by terry because he didnt expect him to go deep, so that doesn't count. The second td to crowder doesnt count because smitty, brown, and barkely dropped balls on the last posession... Oh and Brown owned Lattimore because the refs called DPI on a play where BROWN grabbed Lattimore by the collar, and a second one the next play where Lattimore didn't impede Brown's progress in any way. So you criticize orlovsky for saying Daniels was the best player this weekend then in the next sentence say Bryce young was better? Lol Are you eligible to put yourself on the shouty segment?
That’s because instead of throwing the ball Caleb hangs on to the ball. Lions fans don’t subscribe because of the narratives being set by people like you. Now the lions gone lose to 49ers😂

Caleb put up his numbers in garbage time.
the whole game was garbage time lol.
Isn’t every Justin fields stat ever garbage time? The guy is like 6-29 as a bears starter.
