I’m not the only one that thinks this video was extremely helpful. The amount of questions you answered and possibilities you opened up for me in Fusion definitely earned a sub. Thank you!
Thanks for the explanation. My reliefs have been ellipses, up until now. All I really wanted was a thin slice.... This technique helped a lot. About to send it to the Plasma CNC for my first test with this type of relief cut.
Subscribed. Exactly what I needed, no filler, no rambling. Thank you! Appreciate assuming as you did that we have a design and just need to program the cutting. Nice to get exactly what is needed!
Awesome! thank you so much for all of the info. I was under the impression drawings had to be extruded before creating cut paths. Very helpful indeed!!!!
That is cool, I don't have my table yet, it's on its way, but have been playing around with Fusion 360 and had some files that this will help me with getting them to cut right. Thanks for the video.
Super helpful, thanks a lot!!! quick question: how would you go about creating a fusion360 file with short plasma bursts to act as center punch for drilling holes? short enough not to harden the metal...
The hard part is to not harden the metal. That will happen no matter what. But to pierce holes like this I create a very short line or a very small circle and cut on the line.
Thank you very much for this. I was struggling how to make a straight line inside of some stock. I do have one question though . Are you able to extrude something like that on the design tab and have it show the relief cuts? When I extrude a body with straight lines inside of it, the straight lines are not "holes" in the stock. I'd like to be able to see what it will look like before cutting if possible. Thank you!
I have a similar test plae that i use all the time I was using it following along with you when you click the circles always indicate a inside cut on mine it always indicates an outside cut which then I have to switch the arrow to inside is there a way in fusion to switch that not a big problem just annoying. Thanks

Dude, thank you. This information is great! Much appreciated!
This is exactly the type of projects that I work on the most - thanks for sharing your technique!
Glad I could help! I definitely use this on the majority of my drawings.

Oh man. This is EXACTLY what I was stumped on. Thanks so much for sharing this.
Ok i am relatively mew to this but i will be doing this for all future files, thank you so much!
Well explained, you have a new subscriber
I’m glad that you found it helpful! It has been a game changer for me ever since I figured it out.
