The Agra Metro is a rapid transit system in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. The metro is owned and operated by the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC). It is set to consist of two metro lines, with a total length of 29.65 kilometres (18.42 mi) and 27 stations.
Agra Metro Rail Project will have 2 corridors that will pass through the heart of the city and will connect prominent tourist places including Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Sikandra as well as ISBT, Raja Ki Mandi railway station, Medical College, Agra Cantonment railway station, Collectorate, Sanjay Place, and surrounding densely populated residential areas.
Highlights of these corridors include:
The length of Sikandra to Taj East Gate corridor 14.00 km, which is partly elevated and partly underground and comprises 13 stations (6-Elevated and 7-Underground).
The length of Agra Cantt to Kalindi Vihar corridor is 15.40 km comprising 14 stations all elevated.
Construction work on Phase 1’s first 4 km section (Taj East Gate - Taj Mahal Ramp) started on December 7, 2020 with the Prime Minister inaugurating works remotely.
Current Status:
Agra Metro’s Priority Corridor (5.2 km Taj East Gate - Mankameshwar (Jama Masjid) section) was inaugurated in March 2024. The entire Phase 1 project is expected to be completed in 2026.

Type: Elevated (6.569 km) and underground (7.681 km)
Depot: PAC Depot (16.3 hectares) - shared with Line-2

Station Names: Sikandra, Guru Ka Taal, ISBT, Shastri Nagar (future), RBS College, Raja Ki Mandi, St. John’s (Agra University), Medical College, Mankameshwar (Jama Masjid), Agra Fort, Taj Mahal (Purani Mandi), Fatehabad Road, Basai & Taj East Gate
Status: 5.2 km Taj East Gate - Mankameshwar section was inaugurated on March 6, 2024.
Line-2: Agra Cantt. - Kalindi Vihar
Length: 15.40 km
Type: Elevated
Depot: Kalindi Vihar Depot (11.9 hectares) & PAC Depot (16.3 hectares) - shared with Line-1
Number of Stations: 15

@@Itz_The_Abhi yes bro, 2 tracks will be there in this tunnel.. one for metro travelling in the direction from Raja mandi to Sikandara and other track will be for opposite direction movement.

@@Prakhar0078 may be or may not be. RBS College station tak ka work almost final stages me hi hai but recently moti katra area me kaam band kar diya gaya hai. में उस सैक्शन को भी कवर करने का प्रयास करता हूं
