This takes me back 40-50 years to spending the weekend with my grandparents and watching this live. The world was so much better back then than today. Wonderful memories.
I remember watching this when I was a little boy in the 70s at my grandparents house when we lived in Gordon Alabama...about 20 miles south of Dothan Alabama. I remember before this song went off, my grandmother was crying & praying, clapping her hands, singing out loud, & praising the Lord!!! I'm 52 yes old now & this brings back some GREAT GREAT CHILDHOOD MEMORIES. Much love from Mobile Alabama.
Love Beauregard sleeping peacefully during this beautiful song. Brings me so much peace. Jesus is Lord. Love and respect to the Hee Haw family, you all were part of my life as a child and you are the best of the USA
This takes me back to my childhood. Granny Smith loved Heehaw and all of us grandkids would watch it when we stayed over. Her house was so warm with love and filled with Jesus. I'm in my 50's and miss those simple times
The Hee Haw gospel quartet actually consisted of 8 or 9 over the years, which goes to show just how much talent there really was on that show. Stringbean, Grandpa, Archie, Buck, Roy, Tennessee Ernie, Kenny Price, Gordie, and I believe even Goober at one time
I don't remember George Lindsey joining in, but I suppose it's possible. After Price died, they used a tall, younger guy to sing bass. I don't think I ever knew his name.
My Grandma and Paw Paw used to watch HeeHaw every week, and would be right there with them lol. I long for that time again. One day, I will see them again. There is indeed power in the Blood of the Lamb...
Jesus’ blood is powerful. He is fully God and fully man. His human blood came from his mom, Mary the Theotokos. And her blood came from her mom and dad, Joachim and Anna. I sang this song as a child but it wasn’t until I was in my forties before I learned who Jesus’ earthly grandparents were. The Orthodox Church alone keeps the fullness of the whole story of Christ alive to this very day. Christ is born! Christ is Risen! Christ is in our midst!
mom and dad watch hee haw....i grew up outside of knoxville (not too far from nasvhille) so this was what everyone watched. it was a different time we lived in. But they still sing it in churches today - especially in the mountains
Everyone needs salvation here are the words of salvation please forgive me jesus im a sinner come into my heart and save me from my sin I no that you are the savior and I no that you died for me on calvary and I no that God raise you from the dead and you are alive and I thankyou for your salvation in Jesus holy name amen and its important to always ask for forgiveness everynite 💤
We need more God in our Countries, in our Schools, in our Churches and the list goes on. They don't put programs with meaning or gospel singing no more on Tv. It is all satanic garbage right down to into our news. We have to bring him back or all the good things will be lost.
The only time l saw Grandpa Jones not take his hat off for the Gospel Quartet. Also, Kenny Price must've been out for a good reason. He never missed singing bass, the Quartet.
I wish modern church music was this good. It’s all about being loud and repetition and more like a concert. It’s terrible. Even the sermon isn’t as good anymore. Come on people! Come back and have a conversation with God! If there are any church leaders that lay eyes on this, change your delivery and clean your house. Your flock might appear full but they are not being fed.
loved gordie tapp on the show but in his two appearances as a "bass" in one of the original formations of what became the gospel quartet he didn't have any business being the bass. he's a baritone he's no bass. and watch in the video, you've got the bass from the nashville edition in the gang shot and on this or the other one you have their eventual full time bass singer kenny price. remind me again who thought this was a good idea?

A secular show singing power in the blood. Amazing.
All of these folks on Hee Haw were amazing.
Now that is Gospel music. No one can sing it better.
❤❤❤
They'd never allow this program on TV today. Tells you all you need to know about the direction the country has gone.
Absolutely right. There would be protests. The influence of the prince of this world is growing stronger.
Read Matthew 24 , we are in those days ‼️
We watch it on television. RFDTV. My children grew up with this and now my grandchildren watch it.
@@laurablack2262 me too!
@laurablack2262 when I was growing up, we were watching hee haw every Saturday night. It was great and still is.

“Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

can you imagine this song being sung on modern TV today ?
No I cannot, and that is a sad thing.
I'm not a religious man, but I love this music. Always have, always will.
I'm not religious either, I JUST LOVE JESUS CHRIST AND HE IS LORD OF ALL CREATION ‼️
These guys have done a great job God rest their souls and God be with their families
Amen. Yehua save us from this chaos.
These guys are so amazing. There are not many chances to hear legends like these guys do something so special. Especially hymns! Priceless.
I also watched Hee Haw with my Grandparents! Those were the most wonderful times! God Bless!
What ever happen to heeaw
Their is indeed a wonderful power in the blood of the Lamb

It’s painfully obvious from this post how far we have morally fallen.

I love this song so much.
John 6:53-58
Roy's tenor is tremendous
A church standard! When the term "Evangelical Christian" hadn't been taken over by the wrong kind of people like it has been now.
The only time l saw Grandpa Jones not take his hat off for the Gospel Quartet. Also, Kenny Price must've been out for a good reason. He never missed singing bass, the Quartet.
Precious memories from my childhood days in Sunday school.😂.
Always liked Hee Haw
This a great song I love it 😊
Memories from my Grand parents time !!!
Awesome!
We would watch HeeHaw at mamaw Rutledge's house and tease her that Grandpa was her "boyfriend". She was a "good sport"😊
