Roadblocks always detect you if you get too close. So it's always a good idea to get rid of them first. Driving by any other enemy should be fine. It's just roadblocks that can always detect you.
I’ve gone past a couple with no issue on another save I have going when I was learning the basic of the game mode, this is why it confused me at first but I try to engage them before or find another route if I can now. Thanks for the feedback, always appreciate it 🙂
@@theurbanhermit365 Yeah, it also depends on how close you get. Their range is VERY small, but once you're in it they catch you. I've driven around them a few times, but it's tricky going just far enough out of their range, but still staying close enough to the road. I'm enjoying your video so far. Keep it up.

Hey, I was wondering how you were navigating in the action menus ? Like when buying a vehicule from the garage (top left menu, "Open garage, Restore nearby units, Buy vehicles and items") (3:35) How do I select the two other options ? because I can only use the "Open garage" option. I've just bought the game and I can't seem to find the keybind. Do you have the solution ?
Use your mouse wheel to select on the left menu, so when you look at the red box at HQ press the middle mouse button after scrolling to which option you want. Tab should be the Command menu. Y should be the HC/AI menu. You can go to controls and use the bar to select antisatsi ultimate - this will show keybindings for the mod. Hope this helps 🙂

@Altadryx yes more than likely, remove said mods and then try again. If it’s works you know that’s the issue. There are many mods that are compatible with Antistasi but I know a few have their issues, especially when it comes to AI and changing keybindings etc
I think you got detected at the start because of your load out - you can’t wear a “combat vest” or have a visible gun. Store them in the vans inventory (if you can of course) - equip stuff before the firefight. If they see you driving past however decked out for a fight - that’ll kill undercover (at least in my experience)
Being undercover in the vehicle prevents this, though there is a chance of them spotting you. Dogs with patrols will spot you instantly in my experience haha
Tanoa's a fun map to do the early game but you run into some challenges pretty quick. There's not a lot of resources and factories so it can be tough to ramp up your economy for money. On the main island, there's an enemy base on the side of the volcano in the jungle that's really hard to get to. It's almost impossible to get your AI up near that base in good shape, so that base is very nasty to take.
I've not been too bad on another save I've got going, once you get a foot hold its not too bad for HR. Not really taken anything in the north yet but looks like a struggle with 3 battles going on.

Do you know if you can get your AI squad to change/upgrade primary weapons? I know they can pick up vests and helmets but Im not seeing any weapon changes. Also, are weapons for your squad locked and if so, how do you unlock these?
When you collect loot from bodies via a loot crate and then unload that in to your arsenal this will stock them. Once you have 25 of a weapon it’ll become infinite so you can then give them to your AI. There is a way of getting them to manually pick up rifles but it seems to be a bit buggy when I’ve used it. So do ammo truck mission/supply missions this will give you some good amount of munitions etc I’ll be doing some basic guides to go through things like this over the coming weeks as well 🙂
Nice content, I finished the Arma 3 mod old man twice and loved it, even if I didnt had a lot of experience with Arma 3. I played a bit of multi too. But I cant make antistasi work, we need a tutorial from install to set up to how to play basics because I lauched an antistasi game, and spawned on night with buggy civilians running randomly, impossible to lauch any mission, no tutorial whatsoever, nothing. With Old Man everything is explained but antistasi was absolutely incomprehensible to me... Could you do a tuto video ?

you host a server to start a game, this can be done online or on local. I'm currently making a video for this, should be ready in the next couple of days. Search Antistasi ultimate on steam workshop, it'll be the first one you see, it'll need a separate mod for it also but its listed when downloading the ultimate mod 🙂

I can’t tell you why you can’t save, if you’ve done what I’ve done then you shouldn’t be having all these issues, I would say you’re missing something. Verify the files of the game, see if that helps

@@RamblinRick_ dude, I just said I don’t know why it’s not saving.. go to the map and save the game, hence why I gave you some solutions. if it doesn’t work I don’t know, the fact you’re missing things from the mod tells me you’re missing an item from the mod.. so that’s why I said check the files by verifying them. I didn’t design the mod just use it. Also why I said I’m making a video to explain how to install and run the mod as some people are having issues.
Thanks for the video :D Was quite enjoyable. If you don't mind me asking, how does one get into Arma 3? I bought it years ago to play with some friends but we ended up never ended up even playing. Your videos made me want to try to get into it again though. I don't have any friends nowadays who are interested so would you recommend any ways to learn the game and meet people to play with?
If you want a Milsim experience with people who can have a laugh but also take the game seriously as such then i would suggest looking in to some Milsim Units, this will also ensure a group that's around every week to play etc. I use to be part of one years back but i mainly play solo now.

Well I would say just jump straight in solo and learn the game, then from there you can look at community events, meet some fellow Americans and game on haha. Hi! Do i have to install also the "default" Antistasi Mod from the modders website? Or is ANTISTASI ULTIMATE a standalone? I am confused. Are this 2 different mods? And btw ..; i like the idea of the Background Story (Diary like) of your Video.

Ultimate is standalone. You only need it, CBA_A3, and any mods for factions, map, and any QoL mods you want (as long as they don't break things, e.g. ai mods usually break stuff)
This is my first time experiencing Antistasi so I decided to keep it vanilla. If you go to the steam workshop for Antistasi, there is a link to their website and gives all the compatible mods/maps for Antistasi. I’ll be adding some to the next series I do but still testing which ones work best etc.
When you get an ammo truck bring it back to HQ, you then use the green weapon box to empty the vehicle, then store 1 ammo truck inside your garage as this’ll rearm your vehicles for you. Any others after that I would empty the contents at HQ then sell 🙂

Personally never tried Benny warfare so I couldn’t say but Antistasi has been a whole load of fun, there’s also another one similar called KP Liberation. I would give them both a go and see what you think 🙂

It's a slow process at the start but get the towns on your side by doing supply runs to them, its a mission given by petros, this'll give you more HR/Money as well.

With the Antistasi stuff it'll stay solo, I do have plans for some community missions in the future though. Join the discord to keep up to date with announcements etc
if you're not using ACE then just pull up and sit in the vehicle it'll do it itself, with ACE you need to lift the nozzle from the pump, then place it on the vehicle
hey urban, wondering if you have the same problem. i donwloaded antistasi and downloaded a couple of ods, but if i shoot the AI enemies, they are literally UNKILLABLE. please lmk if u have this problem aswell
Ai not good at follow path. Even set a line formation, it suck. But if you set waypoint or set ai to drive at the specific location. I see no problem. They drive like a normal ai.
Yeah with waypoints only time I have issues with them is if there are civilian vehicles crossing bridges when the AI are. Ai and small spaces don’t go well 😅🤣

I tried this mod because of this video but for some reason i get spotted from undercover if i spawn a car in base (no matter the location, and it's a civilian vehicle)
I know i'm late but using the vehicle box has always been that way not sure why but after you spawn a vehicle if you restore nearby units which is one of the options on the box it will make it where you can go undercover again
I’m on the tanoa map. I did notice on a different map I started with shotguns and a bolt action. So maybe different maps/factions will start with different weapons ? Not 100% sure but that’s my best guess haha
Is it better to play Arma 3 Antistasi Ultimate with Mods or without. Been having a lot of Problems getting my Team to Rearm and with the Arsenal Box at base. I can put stuff in it, but have a Hard time taking anything out for my Character. I can select stuff but will not save to my Player. The only thing it grips about is Lambs Mod but try it with and without. Seem no Diff rents.
The current series I am doing is vanilla, so I’m only using Ultimate and the CBA_A3 which is required. I know ACE works with it but other than that I’ve yet to test other mods. I think there is a current bug with rearming. My advice is to go to the AI loadouts and give them 300 rounds each, then if needed use the red box at base to reset everyone, this is a good way of rearming/healing at base. You can also manually ask your ai to pick up individual weapons when you’re looting but it’s a bit long, best thing to do is stack up 25 of a weapon which will then unlock it for the AI to spawn in with. For yourself there is a load/save tab at the bottom when you’re in the arsenal, this will save the current load out so you can just load it when needing to re arm etc.
@@theurbanhermit365 Thanks for the Tips. I have tried to save the Load out and Even if I load the saved Load out. I then Exit the Box, I still do not have, nothing Equip. But it still shows my Player with the stuff what I selected. But As soon, I exit. Boom, nothing has been Equip. Or in my Inventory.
@stevel105 I would say that would be one of the extra mods you have that’s causing this then, I’ve not come across this bug with the ultimate and cba_a3 add on. Best thing to do is load one mod at a time on top of the 2 needed as stated above. Then test, do this with each mod and when it happens you’ll know it’s that last mod loaded that is causing it. That would be my go to to troubleshoot the issue
There are different versions of Antistasi, are you using Antistasi Ultimate ? Other than this I'm not sure what the reason could be. Might be worth asking in the AU discord as well.

Apex - The Old Man DLC 🙂 Found this on the steam page - How to play Arma 3 Apex: Old Man? If you already own Arma 3 and the Arma 3 Apex expansion, you just need to download the latest Arma 3 update (1.98) on Steam. Afterwards, launch the game, go to SINGLEPLAYER in the main menu, click on SCENARIOS, and select Old Man.

The AI can be a bit janky still. The main bridge over to the island I'm currently taking over can have crap pathing sometimes, sometimes it takes a while for the AI to pick you up but no more than 3-4 minutes I've waited before, other than that they seem to fight well. Would highly recommend jumping back in if its been a while to check it out again.@@dmknght8946
@@theurbanhermit365 oh i play Altis map mainly and AI always has problem on small brides. Btw do u use ace combat medic mod? It could be the reason that i (ussed it) was rescused by AI
@@danielallen470 ah okay, yeah I never played around with the settings when I started, just assumed it was there as default haha. Glad you managed to sort it.
You need to go to the big red box and scroll wheel down, should be an option to buy things, that'll open a new tab for vehicles and statics etc. Once purchased they will need to be stored inside the garage for future use. To do this look at the vehicle and press Y this will show and option for storing the vehicle, use this for when you're finished with it. Another tip, having an ammo, repair and fuel truck in your garage will auto rearm, fix and refuel for you when you store vehicles in the garage alongside them.
@Dinidani4093 either use the local gas stations or find a fuel truck and put that in your garage, any vehicle you put in there will auto refuel itself 🙂
@@Dinidani4093 just pull up to the pump inside the vehicle it does it for you, I think it’s top left or right of the screen where you’ll see the fuel level if I remember correctly 🙂
I know i'm late, but for antistasi usually not a good idea to use AI mods with it since antistasi has a built in AI mod they tend to break some parts of antistasi such as QRFs and other things.
It's integrated custom ai inside antistasi, however it only works with vanilla medical. Many people choose to use ACE which overrides it, AI cannot help you when using ACE
There are plenty of milsim groups that still play Arma 3 I’m sure there are some that are dedicated to certain mods, maybe even this one. It’s not something I’ve looked in to but there’s plenty of people that play Arma3 still 🙂
Only mod I’m currently using is Antistasi ultimate. The AI can mess around a bit, put them in combat mode - select all units, then number 7 and then 2 if I’m remembering correctly. They’ll react a lot better then 🙂
Haha, I didn’t even know there was a cheat menu tbf 🤣 It’s easy enough when you’ve played arma before, I dropped Arma 3 for a while but found this mod and fell in love with the game all over again 🙂

If you set your ai to "engage at will" they will actually break formation and hunt down the enemy.

Forgot to add when I access the Box I have to exit back out then back in to see the Stored Items in it.
You can save the game via the map at HQ this’ll then store those items and add them to the arsenal count 🙂
Saves you having to exit and reenter 🫡

@@RamblinRick_ dude, I just said I don’t know why it’s not saving.. go to the map and save the game, hence why I gave you some solutions. if it doesn’t work I don’t know, the fact you’re missing things from the mod tells me you’re missing an item from the mod.. so that’s why I said check the files by verifying them. I didn’t design the mod just use it. Also why I said I’m making a video to explain how to install and run the mod as some people are having issues.

Thanks for the video :D Was quite enjoyable. If you don't mind me asking, how does one get into Arma 3? I bought it years ago to play with some friends but we ended up never ended up even playing. Your videos made me want to try to get into it again though. I don't have any friends nowadays who are interested so would you recommend any ways to learn the game and meet people to play with?
If you want a Milsim experience with people who can have a laugh but also take the game seriously as such then i would suggest looking in to some Milsim Units, this will also ensure a group that's around every week to play etc. I use to be part of one years back but i mainly play solo now.
@@theurbanhermit365 Yeah I tried checking out the units but most of them seem to be serious or RP or focused on the other side of the world from me (I'm American) so that makes it a little hard. I just wanna have some casual fun with people and learn to play the game and preferably play against ai, ya know? Something like antistasi cause that seems super fun
Well I would say just jump straight in solo and learn the game, then from there you can look at community events, meet some fellow Americans and game on haha.
Theres a fair few Arma players in the community discord I have, not sure on where everyone is located but they are a friendly bunch that may have a server going 🙂

I use Antistasi with various mods. Then I saw that some were using Antistasi Ultimate. Now I don't know which is better.

Ultimate is standalone. You only need it, CBA_A3, and any mods for factions, map, and any QoL mods you want (as long as they don't break things, e.g. ai mods usually break stuff)
Hey Hermit, would you recommend any mods to be played with Antistasi, or you prefer to play it the vanilla way?
This is my first time experiencing Antistasi so I decided to keep it vanilla. If you go to the steam workshop for Antistasi, there is a link to their website and gives all the compatible mods/maps for Antistasi.
I’ll be adding some to the next series I do but still testing which ones work best etc.
Bro What did you do with the ammo truck? Did you sell it or did you take all the guns or loots? How?
When you get an ammo truck bring it back to HQ, you then use the green weapon box to empty the vehicle, then store 1 ammo truck inside your garage as this’ll rearm your vehicles for you. Any others after that I would empty the contents at HQ then sell 🙂

Personally never tried Benny warfare so I couldn’t say but Antistasi has been a whole load of fun, there’s also another one similar called KP Liberation. I would give them both a go and see what you think 🙂

It's a slow process at the start but get the towns on your side by doing supply runs to them, its a mission given by petros, this'll give you more HR/Money as well.
Which map do you recommand to play antistasi ? Is antistasi better than Old Man scenario ?

Question. How do you refuel vehicles at the fuel stations?
if you're not using ACE then just pull up and sit in the vehicle it'll do it itself, with ACE you need to lift the nozzle from the pump, then place it on the vehicle
hey urban, wondering if you have the same problem. i donwloaded antistasi and downloaded a couple of ods, but if i shoot the AI enemies, they are literally UNKILLABLE. please lmk if u have this problem aswell
Most likely one of the mods you’re using, I would add a mod then test to see if it resolves it. Add more till you find which mod is the issue 🙂
Ai not good at follow path. Even set a line formation, it suck. But if you set waypoint or set ai to drive at the specific location. I see no problem. They drive like a normal ai.
Yeah with waypoints only time I have issues with them is if there are civilian vehicles crossing bridges when the AI are. Ai and small spaces don’t go well 😅🤣

I tried this mod because of this video but for some reason i get spotted from undercover if i spawn a car in base (no matter the location, and it's a civilian vehicle)
AU modders have just updated the mod so maybe it’s a bug that’s been caused due to that update, I’ve yet to have this issue myself
I know i'm late but using the vehicle box has always been that way not sure why but after you spawn a vehicle if you restore nearby units which is one of the options on the box it will make it where you can go undercover again

I did notice on a different map I started with shotguns and a bolt action. So maybe different maps/factions will start with different weapons ? Not 100% sure but that’s my best guess haha

Is it better to play Arma 3 Antistasi Ultimate with Mods or without. Been having a lot of Problems getting my Team to Rearm and with the Arsenal Box at base. I can put stuff in it, but have a Hard time taking anything out for my Character. I can select stuff but will not save to my Player. The only thing it grips about is Lambs Mod but try it with and without. Seem no Diff rents.
The current series I am doing is vanilla, so I’m only using Ultimate and the CBA_A3 which is required. I know ACE works with it but other than that I’ve yet to test other mods. I think there is a current bug with rearming.
My advice is to go to the AI loadouts and give them 300 rounds each, then if needed use the red box at base to reset everyone, this is a good way of rearming/healing at base.
You can also manually ask your ai to pick up individual weapons when you’re looting but it’s a bit long, best thing to do is stack up 25 of a weapon which will then unlock it for the AI to spawn in with.
For yourself there is a load/save tab at the bottom when you’re in the arsenal, this will save the current load out so you can just load it when needing to re arm etc.
@@theurbanhermit365 Thanks for the Tips. I have tried to save the Load out and Even if I load the saved Load out. I then Exit the Box, I still do not have, nothing Equip. But it still shows my Player with the stuff what I selected. But As soon, I exit. Boom, nothing has been Equip. Or in my Inventory.
@stevel105 I would say that would be one of the extra mods you have that’s causing this then, I’ve not come across this bug with the ultimate and cba_a3 add on.
Best thing to do is load one mod at a time on top of the 2 needed as stated above. Then test, do this with each mod and when it happens you’ll know it’s that last mod loaded that is causing it. That would be my go to to troubleshoot the issue

Ctrl + space bar. This switches between your squad and the High Command squads 🙂

Question I installed Antistasi out of the Steam workshop, but my map looks different than yours could there be any reason why?
There are different versions of Antistasi, are you using Antistasi Ultimate ? Other than this I'm not sure what the reason could be. Might be worth asking in the AU discord as well.

Should be in the in game settings for the server. Off the top of my head I’m not 100% sure what section it’s under.

The AI can be a bit janky still. The main bridge over to the island I'm currently taking over can have crap pathing sometimes, sometimes it takes a while for the AI to pick you up but no more than 3-4 minutes I've waited before, other than that they seem to fight well. Would highly recommend jumping back in if its been a while to check it out again.@@dmknght8946
@@theurbanhermit365 oh i play Altis map mainly and AI always has problem on small brides. Btw do u use ace combat medic mod? It could be the reason that i (ussed it) was rescused by AI
@dmknght8946 I use the base ultimate mod and it requires CBA_A3 to use. Other than that I’m not running any other mods 🙂

How to spawn cars? When i open the garage its empty. Pls help
You need to go to the big red box and scroll wheel down, should be an option to buy things, that'll open a new tab for vehicles and statics etc. Once purchased they will need to be stored inside the garage for future use. To do this look at the vehicle and press Y this will show and option for storing the vehicle, use this for when you're finished with it. Another tip, having an ammo, repair and fuel truck in your garage will auto rearm, fix and refuel for you when you store vehicles in the garage alongside them.

@Dinidani4093 either use the local gas stations or find a fuel truck and put that in your garage, any vehicle you put in there will auto refuel itself 🙂

I know i'm late, but for antistasi usually not a good idea to use AI mods with it since antistasi has a built in AI mod they tend to break some parts of antistasi such as QRFs and other things.

It's integrated custom ai inside antistasi, however it only works with vanilla medical. Many people choose to use ACE which overrides it, AI cannot help you when using ACE

There are plenty of milsim groups that still play Arma 3 I’m sure there are some that are dedicated to certain mods, maybe even this one. It’s not something I’ve looked in to but there’s plenty of people that play Arma3 still 🙂

The AI can mess around a bit, put them in combat mode - select all units, then number 7 and then 2 if I’m remembering correctly. They’ll react a lot better then 🙂

So just my 2 cents but you sbould use the AI voice command mod and turn off 3rd person the game is way to easy with third person mode on
