5 min in and I wanted to comment that this is what I needed. It's been a while since watching regularly and I'm usually not the type who needs other to motivate them but I'm going to change that as I've slipped a bit in 2024 due to weekly back and forth living in Vegas and working weekends in Cali. Back in Cali now and picked this vid as the one I was on didn't have the car talk and I wanted to eat and listen to a car talk. I use to be a consistent lifter with time of day but I also would go to different gyms for different body parts when I lived in LA and San Diego. Here in Nor Cal my 24 isn't 24 but it has that dark gym feel that I miss from the 90's. So it's time to be a MACHINE again and yesterdays vid you talked about macros and I hadn't paid attention or tried to push mine up in years. So 6am wake up (did that yesterday but stocks had me distracted and I missed the gym entirely ) So 6am and out the door with toasted bagel and protein already going down. 15 min drive, stretch 20 min, lift til 5min before 8 then drive 15 min home to cook and took 2nd protein shake before drive. So far I've had 134 Pro/ 123 Carb/ 41.5 Fat and 1410 Cal all before 9am. I usually don't stuff that much in but I weighted 198.5 the other day after being sick moving my stuff back from Vegas. It was a goal and then to get back to 210lbs where at 53 I look my best IMO. I'm usually 220lbs or so and hit 240 at one point about 8 years ago. So I just wanted to say THANKS and I'm looking forward to watching more often to get that machine mindset again. Have an excellent lift. =)

Just catching up on the last 2 weeks of Sam's workouts coz I had a lifting injury & couldn't train so I had to stop watching anything to do with exercising haha Did my cardio this morning & getting ready for my 1st lift back at the gym for over 3 weeks 💪🏻

Access to a gym is key. Always have a home setup if at all possible. There is nothing like a middle of the night second wind workout session in the garage after a day of work. No need to drive anywhere.
I’m starting a cut tomorrow and will be commenting on every video to keep me consistent wish me luck! I know I shouldn’t have to rely on outside sources and I need to be more disciplined but I will succeed this time! I’ll post progress pics at the end of the cut.
I agree with you on if you stay in motion you can avoid the gravitational pull to relax lol. As soon as I get home from work I slam some protein, slam some pre then go in my home gym and workout. I’ll agree if you sit down first and relax it’s hard to get back up and have as much energy to workout.
Sam is the best, he has simplified training, splits and nutrition in the very basic way than any other influencer ever, watching sams videos you don’t need a personal instructor, SO SAM IS ALL YOU NEED FOR GAINS AND THATS A BIG FACT. LETS GO💪🏋️🫡

Please don’t try to be like Sam..Don’t “ego lift” the main reason Sam gets away with it is because he already has a foundation (he’s built a ton of muscle) new guys, u don’t have it yet, so ego lifting will only screw up your tendons.
