I've always said - if you walk past a piece of trash that someone drop & DON'T pick it up, you may as well dropped it yourself.

Tip #5, needs to e strictly...enforced by Rangers. They need to get outta those air-conditioned vehicles, & hike-in when seeing a camp or fire, along a lake. We hiked into Moss Lake, May 12th 2022. We filled four 55 gallon garbage bags, of trash during the loop hike. Most being plastic bottles, beer cans, and plastic bags, around campsite areas. One site had a campfire, that was burning a foot under-the-soil. Definitely woulda cooked a tree(and forest) if not extinguished with several gallons of water. Seriously. If these trashy people are attacked by a bear for trashing-a-site, would anyone care? We would not.
