I don't understand a single word but i love this song especially chorus, great tune. Edit : I just checked lyrics, wow i didn't expect those meanings. Now i love this song more than before.
This was a lively song and a real joy to listen to. I'm not a big fan of rap-style music but this was a brilliant exception. Well done to everyone involved. Just one last thing: I'm really grateful for the 1997 Danish jury giving 12 points to the United Kingdom. Tak, Danmark!
Finally something different and really modern for Denmark. A great, groovy, fresh and "nerdy" modern rap song. With both funny and say lyrics. Good entertainment too. Love the sound of this, Denmark should try something like this more often
This song is amazingly performed. I also appreciate how hard it is to orchestrate a song of this nature, something the RTÉ concert orchestra pulled off spectacularly. So definitely in my top 5!
Morten Amager I'm not Danish and I can still remember this song after nearly 20 years.Liked it at the time and still do.Thought it deserved to do better.
The UK entry of '95 finished 10th but this one just 16th? This contest should be redone with televote in each participating country. This deserves a spot in the top 10!
@@thesnesgeek Hi. Jan Glaesel here. It was me who made the arrangement and conducted the orhestra. Actually, it was quite easy to make the arrangement, because the song itself was quite good. Chief 1 who wrote the song, had made so many good lines, so it was just to distribute them the right way to the different instrumentgroups in the orchestra. The musicians were sooo professional, and they all had the right attitude. So all in all - it was a piece of cake👍🏻
1998 was the last year you were obliged to sing in your own language. But Denmark wasn't present at that contest because of the relegation rule at that time. Sweden did participate with a song in Swedish (Karleken ar).
I think this would have done better if it had been sung in English. Denmark went through a bad patch in ESC (they were not able to take part in 1994, 1996 and 1998), and then, when all countries able to sing in English, they had a run of successful entries- they won by miles in 2000 and were runners up in 2001.
Damm det er et skodtrack. Godt at kaj er blevet til koolbandi og har lagt det lort bag sig, det er fedt han ikke forsatte sådan! Det nye ahit han roder med er hundrede gange bedre!
Danish and rap: the crossover that nobody asked for but we love it!!!

The orchestration on this is glorious.
your name is glorious

If this and Paul Oscar had been in Eurovision 1998, they would have placed top 10.

1997 is low key one of my favorite Eurovision years. This was another entry that just really stands out
Same !
Agree, 1997 is the orchester the best part.
I know it´s not our best entry, but I LOVE IT!!! Just listen to the fantastic orchestration for this track....fantastic!!! Makes it all worth while!
Morten Amager I'm not Danish and I can still remember this song after nearly 20 years.Liked it at the time and still do.Thought it deserved to do better.
Morten Amager Nowadays, what about splendid Christina Jull Hansen?
Christina Juul Hansen is never heard of these days. I actually have no idea what she is doing now....
thanks anyway, I thought you knew any news, as a Danish
It's for performances like this that I watch Eurovision
I like how you put the message in the beginning about making Eurovision live again. If only they took notice of that.
Deserved a better place absolutely
This song is amazing. The guy has a very nice flow
I like a lot for the first time I watched this performance, so I still in love with the dancers and their performance. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤
My winner in that year
wow, i'm not used to denmark sending songs like these! this was a great modern bop, kolig and the secretary were amazing!
Still love this song to this day :D
The orchestra saved this song.

Tbf it was joint 10th with Malta in 1995. Had countback been enacted 🇲🇹 would be 10th and 🇬🇧 11th.
who is here after fyr og flamme song?since this was last entry in danish language from denmark
Me!
Me too
Just what ESC is all about. Great little pop song, cute performance.
Oh, and I wish that lovely lady was my own secretary! :-)
I can be that
The 90s energy this has 😂
The dancers look like they are "crazy taxi" ...
So many things to feel nostalgic in this song in all senses be them visual, audible etc...
Probably the most modern song that year and all '90s at Eurovision
Minn hinsti dans was this year. Much more modern lol
Paul. Oscar.
One of the music genres of my childhood.
Muy moderna, chula, innovadora y con una coreografía y una escenografía impecable. A lo mejor ese año no fue entendida. Calificación: 8,75/10
The last time Denmark sang in Danish :(
Well, at least there was some in the newest one.
Fly On the Wings of Love first got played in Danish and can be found under its Danish title; Smuk som et Stjerneskud.
that will changed in 2021
hello 2021
lol2021 is danish
I'm not usually into rap, but this is very catchy!
never understood the placing for this one, I was a teen and I thought they would win!
Omg i love it!
i love this!
Nice to hear rap style in nice Danish . Greetings from Türkiye to Denmark . 12 points
If someone doesn't know what EV is, show them this. But seriously this is so amazingly performed and everything is live.
I think it must have been a hard song to conduct. Quite unusual genre to use an orchestra for.
But they did the impossible and made rap live.

@@rumorscorner4998 Nice to hear, good job regardless.
@@rumorscorner4998 That's so cool you can give us fun facts like these!
@@rumorscorner4998 It's awesome when people involved in the original performance/act are here to share their knowledge with us regulars. :)
Probably the best Danish song ever
Ultra cool
This was the foreshadow of Valentina Monetta and "Social Network Song (Oh Oh Uh Oh Oh)"? LOL
This song was f****cking great!! A thousand times better than the winning entry 3 years later.
Absolutely agree!! It's my top2 that year after Turkey
Sounds like Falco. Dig those pants. :-)
I tought this would be top 3
Danish rap, gotta love it🇩🇰👍🏻
When denmark and sweden still sang in their respective languages... (Maybe that was the last year...)
Sweden sang last time in swedish 1998, a song about Princess Dianas death

Finland did Swedish later on lol

No thanks. The Eurovision is too English.
It's just me or the dancers in yellow look like they came out of Britney Spears video's - "Baby one more time" .. 😅🇮🇱🇩🇰
That 2G network... ❤😂
But this is good song.
What a shocker.
Lol. This is so much fun.
Denmark's answer to David Brent
Denmark and rap music go together like Finland and rock music. Also, who decided those pants were a good idea?
Oké
Heavens to Betsy !!!
Backing singers were a little shouty
Eminem has left the chat
Kølig looks like Guy Fieri
Skulle have været utopia der skulle have repræsenteret os det pr
Tbh the rapper is pretty bad but the backing songers & corus are Gold🏆

beautiful song but not as good as uk turkey or hungary
